This is the worst daycare ever. Management team is very racist. Prices do not match their services. I would not recommend it.

My daughter has been here…read morefor two years now from Pre‑K, Summer School, and TK, and the experience has been consistently positive every step of the way. It is a small school with a true family feel. Every teacher knows the students by name, and that sense of care is felt daily. The office staff is very responsive. Any time there has been a question or issue, we have always received a quick response and prompt action. The elective teachers deserve special recognition as well. Ms. Jeannie (Science), Ms. Edith (Spanish), and Ms. Zoe (Music) have all done an amazing job creating hands‑on, engaging lessons that truly keep the kids excited and involved. Most importantly, we cannot say enough wonderful things about my daughter's TK teacher, Ms. Weiss. My daughter absolutely loves her, and when I asked why, she said, "Because she listens to everything." That alone speaks volumes about the level of care, respect, and attention Ms. Weiss gives her students every single day. She is incredibly engaging, warm, and thoughtful, and she goes above and beyond to make learning fun by celebrating all kinds of occasions, decorating the classroom with her own amazing props and costumes for all the children, and going all out to make the school year special. Ms. Weiss is truly one of a kind. We have seen tremendous growth in our daughter under Ms. Weiss's guidance. Academically, she is excelling in reading and math, and her writing and reading skills have made huge strides. Even more meaningful is how genuinely interested she now is in reading and writing outside of the classroom. We have also seen amazing growth in her interpersonal skills such as confidently greeting others, engaging with new friends, and learning how to reason and communicate thoughtfully. All of this is thanks to Ms. Weiss and the strong foundation she has helped build during these critical early education years. We are incredibly grateful for the lasting impact she has had on our daughter's growth. While we are so sad to be leaving Ms. Weiss's class soon, we know the lessons, confidence, and love of learning will stay with our daughter for life. I also want to give a special thank you to my daughter's Pre‑K teachers, Ms. Sonal and Ms. Gauri. They did an incredible job setting a strong foundation in phonics and helping her transition from daycare into a more structured school environment. The early support was crucial to her confidence and success at the school in the beginning, and we are so grateful for the role they played in shaping her learning journey. Lastly, we are also so grateful for the extended day teachers who have been such a big part of our daughter's experience. Ms. Holly during Summer School and Ms. Hibah during TK have been absolutely wonderful. They keep the extended day program fun and engaging with creative arts, activities, and fresh ideas, which makes it feel less like "extra hours" and more like an extension of the school day. As parents, it gives us so much comfort knowing our child is in caring, creative hands even after regular school hours.

Most of the staff, including Ms. Swathi, the principal, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We especially want to highlight Mrs. Saravanan, my son's second-grade teacher. She was our favorite teacher during our time there--truly dedicated, kind, and impactful. It made our final year at the school unforgettable. We highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a supportive community!

He started at 21 months old and recently transitioned to the Thomas Road location as he turns 3. Incredible Teachers: Ms. Katie, Ms. Cho, Ms. Choi, Ms. Lim, Ms. Tessa, and Ms. Allison create a remarkably safe and nurturing environment. Ms. Katie brings decades of Montessori experience to the structured setup. Ms. Cho warmly welcomes the kids every morning, and Ms. Katie personally sees them off on most evenings with individual feedback for the parents. Great Communication: They use a fantastic mobile app for easy check-ins, payments, and school updates. Best of all, they sent pictures and videos of our toddler throughout the day getting those updates at work and seeing him grow was such a dopamine hit! Life Skills & Activities: They actively help with potty training, self-feeding, and learning to put on shoes etc. They also host great activities like yoga, pumpkin patch outings, summer camps, teachers appreciation day and Mother's Day celebrations. Structured day: Ms Katie has created a toddler curriculum, they have designated nap-time, play time and a lot of Montessori toys to keep the children engaged. Food & Care: They provide food but allow home-packed lunches. Our toddler was a fussy eater, and Ms. Cho was incredibly helpful in working with him on this. We couldn't be happier with our decision. The recent transition to their Thomas Road location was seamless (and honestly deserves its own 5-star review).

Our daughter…read moreis three years old, and since we moved from New York one year and six months ago, the environment and system here initially felt a bit unfamiliar to us. However, it didn't take long for us to realize how warm, professional, and thoughtfully run this daycare really is. At first, we did have a small concern that the number of children seemed a bit high compared to the number of teachers. However, during our meeting, the staff clearly explained that the daycare strictly follows California's teacher-to-child ratio regulations. After spending some time here and observing how experienced and capable the teachers are, we quickly felt reassured. It became clear that the team knows exactly how to manage and guide the children in a calm and structured way. One thing that really stands out is Perl's leadership. She is very hands-on and actively involved. She organizes events and is often outside observing the children while they play. If she notices any inappropriate behavior, she steps in immediately and gently corrects it in a calm, professional, and patient manner. As a parent, it is incredibly reassuring to see someone guiding the children so thoughtfully. Another detail we truly appreciate is that the director's office is intentionally located along the drop-off and pick-up walkway. Because of this, we frequently see Perl or the assistant director, Marissa, when dropping off or picking up our child. We can easily say hello, have friendly conversations, and talk about how our child is doing. At some daycares, if you ask the director about your child, they might just tell you to ask the classroom teacher. Here, that's not the case. They are approachable, engaged, and genuinely interested in the children and their families. As parents, we can sometimes be picky or have many questions about our child's experience. What we really appreciate is that the staff here always listen patiently and respectfully. They never dismiss concerns and always take the time to communicate thoughtfully with parents. That kind of openness and respect makes a huge difference and builds a lot of trust. Perl has extensive experience and shows a great deal of respect and empathy toward each family. She understands that every family has different backgrounds and situations, and she approaches each child with patience and care. Under Perl's leadership, the teachers are incredibly kind and caring with the children. Each teacher has their own style, which we really appreciate. Some are firm when needed, while still being warm and sweet with the kids. I was especially impressed when I read one teacher's profile card explaining her philosophy that every child has a different personality and should therefore be guided in different ways. That level of thoughtfulness really stood out to me. Other many teachers also show a very genuine love for the children and treats them almost like their own. The outdoor play area is also fantastic. In the afternoon, it naturally gets shaded, which helps the kids stay comfortable even during warmer days. The staff are also very attentive to the weather and will bring the children indoors when it gets too hot. The daycare also does a wonderful job celebrating diversity. There are many family participation events, such as St. Patrick's Day celebrations, that reflect different cultures and backgrounds. In addition, the children participate in daily educational activities that support their development. You can really see the experience and thoughtful structure behind their curriculum. In addition, the daycare offers extra activity classes such as dancing, soccer, and baseball. These are wonderful programs that give the children opportunities to stay active, explore different interests, and simply have fun while learning new skills. They also offer a monthly "Parent Night" on Friday evenings. For a small additional fee, they care for the kids until around 10 PM, giving parents a little breathing room. The kids enjoy movie nights and fun group activities organized by the teachers, and our daughter always comes home excited after these evenings. We feel very lucky to have found this daycare. If we have a second child, we would absolutely choose to bring them here again without hesitation. For parents who may still be deciding where to send their child, I completely understand how difficult that decision can be. Choosing a daycare is one of the most important choices for your family. I hope this review helps ease some of that hesitation. From our experience, this is a place where your child will be cared for, guided, and loved--and you can feel confident in your decision.

We were nervous about enrolling our son at Santa Clara Montessori after our move from Sunnyvale…read morebecause he was attached to his previous school and the transition felt daunting. However, those worries didn't last long! Within a short time he was settled in and thriving, largely thanks to the wonderful teachers here. Ms. Adriana, Ms. Justina, Ms. Bianca, and Ms. Lim have all been incredibly warm, caring, and attentive with him. The classrooms are clean, bright, and well-equipped, which makes a real difference in how comfortable and engaged the kids feel throughout the day. Regarding the facility: one thing to note is from their recent licensing review, the auditors flagged that their facility was not sufficiently equipped to prep food on location. The staff tried their best to switch to prep the food at their other location which was also not deemed sufficient by the auditors. As a result, school was sourcing meals externally but ultimately, just before Evan graduated, we got a communication to all parents that they will be halting the meal services. Balancing quality of the meal your child eat while also keeping the costs down is a delicate act but it is something to be informed about if you are considering sending your child here. Since we're on topic of communication, we've been impressed by how communicative the staff are: we get frequent updates on what our son is doing, and it's clear the teachers are genuinely invested in each child. They also frequently post pictures of our child throughout the day so checking them is definitely one of my small pleasures while I'm at work. Beyond the academic side, we've seen wonderful growth in his social and emotional development as well. They nurtured his personality and as a result, he's more funny, confident, curious, and independent than when he started. One thing that still amazes us: he's only 3, and he can read fluently (and write somewhat decently) now. He is already reading night time storybooks cover to cover. Other parents are often surprised when they see him reading random words out loud. It's a testament to how effective and individualized the teaching approach here is. What we also appreciate is how the teachers are always thinking of ways to make the day more fun and engaging. Most recently they set up water play and other fun summer activities to keep the kids excited to come to school. They were upfront about the additional fee to cover materials and prep, and it was clear how much effort went into planning it all, so we didn't mind at all. We love that they strike a great balance between academics and playful, hands-on fun. Now that Evan is graduating from Santa Clara Montessori, it's truly a bittersweet moment for us. We're so proud of how far he's come, but parting ways with the teachers who cared for him isn't easy. A special thank you to Ms. Adriana, who as director has gone above and beyond time and time again. Evan absolutely adored her, and he's told us he's going to miss her. We couldn't have asked for a better school to be part of his early years, and we're deeply grateful to the entire team. Highly recommend Santa Clara Montessori to any family looking for a nurturing staff that will help your child be both emotionally well-adjusted and grow academically.

Following a simple, question regarding a late fee and a request to turn off AutoPay, she completely flew off the handle. Rather than engaging in a professional conversation, she chose to abruptly expel our 4-year-old daughter on the spot(even though my daughter was expected to graduate in just 2 months) and left our conversation. She later sent an email giving us 2 weeks of transition time. Me and my wife went in person after receiving the email to request re-consideration to avoid disrupting our daughter's routine and said we will agree with whatever terms Ms. Katie wants us to follow. She treated us like we're not even worth a conversation. Because of her toxic behavior, we decided to end it right the same day. Because of the owner's inability to manage a basic business conversation, our innocent daughter is now forced to miss her pre-K graduation party on June 13th, for which she had spent weeks proudly practicing her songs and dances. The teacher churn was extreme. My daughter had 5 different main teachers in the last 1.5 year (Ms. Su, Ms. Ar, Ms. Ad, Ms Sh, and now Ms. Ju). The school was run like a mess after the talented Director Ms. Ar was fired for no reason. Ms. Sh had 40 years of experience in the field and she was fired after 3 months due to internal politics. We decided to unenroll our daughter twice, first time Ms. Sh requested dearly to continue but she was fired after a month. We decided to unenroll again after Ms. Sh was fired but Ms. Katie requested so much to keep us enrolled and promised direct care and attention to our daughter. After all this, she's the one to terminate our enrollment over a minor conversation. As parents, we trust schools to care for our children's emotional well-being. To abruptly expel a child and strip them of their graduation milestone over a minor administrative disagreement with a parent is unacceptable. If you look for stability, emotional maturity, and a safe environment for your child, please look elsewhere.

CWBM has been like a second home for my children. Just a few of the many things I love about the school: 1) The school itself is a true Montessori school. CWBM is observed by an Association Montessori International (AMI) representative yearly and continues to be recognized as a member of the Association Montessori International. 2) The school itself is so clean and bright inside. This was one of the main reasons I chose CWBM for my children. The children are also taught to help keep the school tidy and neat. 3) The teachers are loving and attentive. On the weekends when he is not in school, my son has often called out his teachers' names while trying to call out to me (his mother). This is just a small indicator of how fond my son was of his teachers. 4) My children were happy in school while learning math, how to read, participating in singing, soccer, dancing, class. 5) Chinese culture and language was introduced during school, which I appreciated, especially living in this global society. 6) I think what I really appreciated most recently with covid, is the precautions that are taken to keep the children and teachers safe. From the very beginning of the pandemic, I felt safe sending my kids to school here and I was on the paranoid side (my kids were one of the first to comfortably wear masks during the pandemic). We've had a wonderful experience throughout this time. He has transformed from a shy little one who was nervous around new people into a confident, outgoing and talkative toddler. Every day is filled with fun, age-appropriate, and engaging activities that keep the children excited about learning. I also really appreciate the values they instill in the kids . They learn to play well together, take turns, and wait patiently for their turn. This strong focus on social development helps the children build friendships easily and interact kindly with one another. The staff also goes above and beyond in celebrating holidays and festivals, making each occasion special and memorable for the kids. When we were first touring daycares, what stood out most to us about Tulip was how warm, knowledgeable, and hands-on the director, Ms. Nikki, was. She knew every child by name, how their day had gone, and seemed to have a deep understanding of each one's unique needs. We also loved how the school helped make the transition to daycare smooth by allowing parents to accompany their child for the first few days. This thoughtful approach really put our minds at ease. The classrooms are clean, bright, and spacious, and the shaded outdoor play area is perfectly designed for all the different age groups. I especially appreciate that the infants have their own dedicated play area. The meals they serve are nutritious, wholesome, and include a nice variety of cuisines.
