It was a slow start with a great finish! Let me explain. Mission Collision had my car for over a month (40 days). There were some back and forth issues with the rep who was assigned my case and the insurance company and some general lack of communication. The last two weeks of my claim really ramped up and got moving when Greg (manager) got involved. He excused the prior wait and lack of communication and indicated that the person working on my case was no longer with the company. After he got involved, there was great communication, and the work that was done was excellent. He was sympathetic to my wait and frustration. I appreciated that when I called the office I always got ahold of a live person. Usually this was Jackie who was always friendly and super helpful. The work was excellent, and you wouldn't even know there was any damage. I've had the car back about a month now and wanted to make sure there were no residual issues before writing the review. Working great. They provided pictures and an itemized roster of the work done. I'm grateful they stepped up, turned things around, and proved that customer satisfaction is their top priority. read more

Thursday April 17, I got in a car wreck and my vehicle was totaled. San Antonio Police Department called a random tow company that was close to my home and it just so happened to be Mission Collision Center. They are closed on the weekends as most places are, but thankfully I had the following day off. I was able to get over to see my vehicle and take some photos for insurance. They also let me get inside and get as much of my belongings out as I could. A few days later I had to go back out again and get more photos for insurance. My second visit they told me I would be assigned to someone to help me with my car and my claim. I explained that I had several companies working with me and I was a little stressed out. A short time later, Dale, their general manager reached out to me directly and said he would be taking over my situation. He was very responsive and helpful and was very honest with me about the charges and the situation I was in. He reached out to my financial company that had the loan for my car and talk to the finance company directly. He worked out a deal with them to help me with the storage charges until they could process the claim since there were three companies working on the vehicle claim. Once they were able to process the claim and I was able to get an adjuster out Dale went to the car himself and helped them process everything to determine what the appraisal of my car was and the damages sustained in the accident. He reached out to let me know That I had a claims adjuster come out, so I knew that I could follow up on the claim with the third-party company. I kept getting the runaround from the Finance and the insurance company so I was feeling very frustrated. I kept reaching out to Dale several times to figure out what to do with my car. The finance company told me it was my problem and to figure it out myself. At a loss, I reached out to Dale to see what my options were. He went through and explained the damages to my car and an estimated cost to fix it. He did reiterate that without taking the car completely apart, they could not give me a completely accurate quote. He used his years of expertise to be able to answer all of my questions. I appreciated his honesty and treating me like I was a family member rather than just a customer. He helped me sort through all of the issues and concerns that I had with my vehicle and the appraisals. It is now May 6 and he has personally resolved my car situation and guided me in the direction to determine my next steps. I could not be happier with them and their willingness to help me out above and beyond their scope of simply "towing and storing" my car. If I could give this place more stars, I would. I brought my truck here to be repaired after a hit-and-run. When I walked into the business, I was greeted professionally, and I met Gabe. Gabriel was outstanding. He helped me through this entire process, even with my insurance and making sure my rental car was set up and taken care of. This process could not have been any smoother. They flawlessly restored my truck to its previous condition and even repaired scratches on my door that had nothing to do with the hit-and-run. They are the worst Auto shop and mechanic I have ever dealt with. it took them 3 + months to repair it body and mechanical and when I got it back 3 other things were broken, there were greasy handprints on the leather seats and interior fabric of the car and the bottom cover fell off on my way home And was dragging down the street. Avoid this place at all costs! This shop had my car almost 2 months and the level of service they provided is the worst I have ever experienced. First, when they sent the tow truck company they work with to pick up my vehicle, I did not hear from Mission Collision for 3 days to confirm that they received my vehicle. I had to reach out to them to ensure they had the car and that they had started working with my insurance provider on repair estimates. Then for 3 weeks, I was told by their representative, Gabe, that they were waiting on approval of repair costs from my insurance in order to begin work. I come to find out weeks later that not only had my insurance already approved the costs with the shop but that the shop had cashed the checks for repaid within a week of them having the vehicle. After 4 weeks of them having the car, I did not hear once from Gabe or anyone at the shop with regards to the repairs. I called at the beginning of the 5th week just to see if they could tell me where they were at with the repair and if they had an estimate when the car would be ready. Every conversation with them after that was all based on me calling the shop and them constantly giving me excuses of why the repairs were taking so long. Then, beginning on the 6th week, they began randomly "finding" new issues with the vehicle they say was tied to the accident. It appears they had agreed to a lower repair price initially with my insurance company and were now charging for additional repairs. When I confronted them about this they stated that the paperwork that was sent to my insurance company was completed by the insurance and they had nothing to do with it. This was a lie as the paperwork that was submitted was created by Gabe utilizing the insurance companies B2B system. Finally, when I picked up my vehicle, I noticed that there were screws missing that connected the body kit to the vehicle as well as some caps that were not on the vehicle. Also the check engine light was on as well as a weird smell was emitting from under the hood. After I left, I decided to have my mechanic look at the repairs to inspect what had been done. He found that the coolant tank was not correctly connected and was leaking coolant. There was also an oil leak that was caused due to damage during repair. The check engine light was caused due to damage to the O2 sensor when they were working on the vehicle and finally they failed to repair the front left flood light. I spent an additional $1000 in repairs due to the terrible work these people did. My honest opinion is try and work with whoever the insurance company suggests or with a large company like Caliber Collisions. read more

This will be my second time having my car repaired by M.C.C. and both times I've left feeling happier and highly satisfied. He gave thorough updates each week so that I was fully aware of how the repairs were coming along and was always upfront with answering any and all questions that I had related to the repairs and timeframe of completion.
