My four year old daughter was denied service until copayment was made. Every other clinic I've ever been will charge copay after being seen by doctor if it's your turn but not this place. When I came in I was told there were three people ahead of me but after those three, three more people were called in first because I hadn't paid the copayment. The receptionist attempted to charge me $50 when my app, and two different agents from United Health Care assured me my copayment was $20 (this clinic is less than 7miles away from me so obviously still in network) the receptionist herself said they would call another person before me until they received copayment and that one had to pay before going in. A facility's mission cannot be to provide the best possible care service to anyone if they put money ahead of medical services ESPECIALLY when it comes to young children. After that I waited nearly 40 mins for the doctor to go in the room we were placed for her to be in and out in under 5 minutes. The only person who I liked was the lady with beautiful wavy black hair who took her time in calling my pharmacy to make sure I had no problems when picking up my prescription. Needless to say I will not be visiting AFC again. read more

I came here a month and a half ago for a check up , signed in and waited 3 HOURS to get checked. There were people that came in after me the got checked out before me so I was really confused about that. Now a month and a half later I'm still waiting for my results that they told me would take 3-7 business days to receive. Take it from me and go to a different urgent care!!! read more

What a warm and friendly place. They took what I described in my doctor's recommendations for an evaluation into what my issue was. I was examined thoroughly my needs were met the nurses were great the nurse practitioner was great period if I need somewhere to go urgently I would return to this particular family urgent care. I was honestly so dissapointed in my experience with this urgent care. I walked in at 3:10, was greeted by a front desk person and was asked to sign in. I was then asked if it was my first time here I said yes. I also drew a giant check mark under the column that stated new patient. She then told me to have a seat and she would call me up to take my cards. I took a seat. Its a fairly warm waiting room, which I understand why. If you have a cold or fever the last thing you want is to be shaking more. Waiting room was clean and they provided drinks. I sat there and watched as they slowly called up patients in regards to insurance. The first family had an insurance change but no new insurance cards. Immediately they were offered self pay option. It's $100 for consultation and any extras if you were to need shots or stiches. Next lady came in I heard it again, sorry we aren't contracted with Loma Linda. Again got offered self pay. After 30 minutes of waiting, I got called up and guess what I was told? Sorry we aren't contracted with this medical group... That's 100% fine with me but I wished I hadn't sat in the waiting room for half an hour feeling sick and naucious... As I expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction I was offered self pay. I told them no thank you but I still find it ridiculous that I marked a giant check mark under new patients and the girls excuse was "oh I asked you if you've been here before so that's why we're just asking for your cards". I then replied " ok maybe I misheard my hearing is clogged BUT regardless I marked myself as a new patient.". I left very unsatisfied and found myself a different urgent care. They def should not be advertising themselves as "taking most insurances' when they clearly don't. read more

When I first walked in, there were a few people in front of me. Twenty minutes later and the kids are out of school and now it's super busy. The staff on the phone and in person are extremely friendly. Bathroom was clean. The lounge area is somewhat clean, with again only to blame their patients and not the clinic for people throw their candy wrappers on the floor! Come on....pick up after your mess! This facility offers free coffee, water, soda and candy. There is a water fountain where you can also refill your water bottle if needed. The waiting rooms inside have a tv to keep your mind busy while waiting for your doctor to come in and it's very clean. Super impress. The nurse apologized in advanced on how busy they are. Her politeness while doing my vitals was genuine and that's really hard to come by. I spent 3 hours and 20 minutes in total. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely. read more

Why do they open 2 hours before a doctor even starts working? Waste of time. Go somewhere else that actually has a doctor

No one introduced themselves. The check in was fine. But the treatment by the NP was less than desirable. She didn't listen to anything I was trying to tell her. I sustained a deep laceration to my knee that I believed needed suturing. She would not really even do more than irrigate and dress, and never got into the meat of the matter. After leaving and into the next day, I had to change my dressing five times due to continuous bleeding. I then went to a different urgent care to where indeed they said I needed my knee suture because it was deep enough to need internal sutures along with external sutures. I will never be going back to this facility again even though it is closer to my home. I would rather drive a little bit farther and get to a facility where I trust the people know what they are doing. read more

I arrived at about 2:30pm, checked in with a link that was texted to me, gave me an appointment time of 3:09 but they called us in at 2:50!!!! I was impressed specially since it was busy when we arrived. Definitely felt like I went to a normal DR. Appointment and not an Urgent care. Staff was super friendly and the doctor made us feel welcomed. There are other Urgent Cares close to my home but decided to stop there since I was in the area. Giving 2 stars for the employees, excluding the medical provider that examined me. Came in around 445 to be seen for sore throat. The wait time was very reasonable (15 minutes) in the lobby. Was seen by the provider and all went downhill. First and foremost, the provider did not introduce himself so I don't really know his name or whether he's a doctor, NP, or PA. He walked in with his wrinkly white coat, looks at my throat, and says "I'll send in the medication." I could not let him leave without (1) examining me and (2) telling me what I have, so I had to ask him myself. I get it he's probably been doing this for a long time and it's urgent care, but you cannot leave a patient without explaining what the situation it. Also, urgent cares should be capable of doing point-of-care tests, which they did not seem to have. Poor bedside manners by the medical provider; otherwise, other clinic staff were great. read more

I was seen on 10-17 for my lower back there was one person ahead of me and wait time was about 35 to 45 minutes. The stuff was polite. Also the doctor my problem was not with the visit. My problem was with the billing. The doctor recommended that I got an x-ray short story long. I ended up not getting the x-ray but we're still billed for it. It's been about a week of me trying to dispute this and their billing department is telling me all they need is a phone call and has not been completed and very upset that have to come out of my pocket over $300 for some thing that I did not get done. BEWARE of what your getting billed for ASK questions. If it was not for the billing, I would've give a better review. don't mess with peoples money. read more

I received my antibiotic at the pharmacy without problems with a different provider. Ridiculous. They made promises to send it multiple times but never did. A waste of money and my time. If your needs are urgent, do not go here. Today was my 3rd visit and I've had the same issue each time. They say the prescription will be placed within an hour, all 3 times I've waited 5+ hours. The doctor is very friendly, but unfortunately they take forever and I've had to keep calling to follow up. Even the pharmacist at Target told me to stay on the phone until it's placed or they won't get to it, I guess it happens often. Also, it's impossible to get a hold of them over the phone. I've been placed on 12+ minute holds 3x today. Hopefully they still put in my prescription after this review ... anyway, clean facility, friendly staff, just not fast enough especially when you're in pain. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I went in with an earache and came out feeling substantially better. I was seen, as a walk-in, within 20 minutes. My doctor was super friendly, and the nurse was amazing. My out-of-pocket cost was $100 without insurance, which is pretty reasonable. I'm not sure how the appointment system works, but it's likely worth a try. This place is also very, very clean, which is great. I'd give them a shot. read more

Let me start out by saying that I realize that this is an urgent care and there are far more serious needs than the one my child and I came in with today. Unfortunately we needed a last minute Sports Physical (for Tuesday) and today (Saturday) was my only day off before Tuesday. The waiting room wasn't packed. Maybe 6 people. The staff seemed nice enough as did the doctor. Although my only interaction thus far has been to see him outside speaking to a father. We came in at 10:10 AM. We have been sitting in room 7 for roughly an hour and a half. It's a sports physical. My daughter has been measured, weighed, had her eyes checked as well as her blood pressure, her blood oxygen level and her temperature. We are beyond ready to leave. If this is a test of our patience, I'm about to fail. Not sure what else's is needed. I've already paid which is why we haven't left. I'm sure they could be using this room for a more serious issue. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not come here for a Sports Physical. Doctor finally walked in but was looking for another patient! He said he would be back and he has gone to 2 other rooms since accidentally coming into room 7. This is not the the result of the doctor, but the staff who brought us into this room, gave us our clipboard and walked out. At 12:50, we are still waiting. Finally met with the doctor. I didn't catch her name, I was in the room with her for less than 2 mins when I got up and left. But with her attitude I know she's this way with everyone, and someone will catch her name and put it out there. I get becoming burnt out, what I don't get is why continue when you are taking it out on your patients??? Honestly if it wasn't for them you would be out of a job. The response they gave is a lie. They already have my results. They said it was negative 6 days after the test, but they STILL have not emailed them to me. The response is putting the blame on the labs being backed up, THATS NOT MY CASE. If you actually looked into it, it's your team who I have asked to email me the results several times and they dont. They just want to tell me over the phone. I need the paperwork or what is the proof. Thankfully I called again TODAY and Lizbeth answered the phone and emailed me the results minutes later. 1 star: location/convenience 1 star: friendly staff 1 star: timeliness of treatment 0 star: weighing child incorrectly (weighed at 22 lbs, actual weight 26) 0 star: odd dosage of meds The weight was off and I mentioned it while my son was on the scale and was told it was done correctly. My son was weighed the very next day (and had barely eaten), so I know he didn't gain 4 lbs overnight. This 15% difference in weight meant the amount of meds prescribed wasn't enough to get his super high fever down. Common antibiotic with an uncommon dosage, which made sense why I had to drive to 5 different pharmacies in Riverside at night during a rainstorm until I was able to find a pharmacy that had it in stock. read more

I came in today with an injury to my head where I needed stitches. The entire staff, nurses and Doctor were awesome to say the least. I am very happy with the service, care and professionalism. I totally recommend coming to this urgent care. The office and inside rooms are clean and the surgery area was clean and stacked with all that was needed to take care of me. Came in for a pre-flight Covid test and would recommend for anyone who wants to get in and get out. Staff was very friendly and efficient!

Two stars for the friendly staff. And that's it. It took FOUR HOURS for them to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy. It took another hour to get them filled. When they were finally ready at 5:20 PM, one was the very thing I told them I was allergic to. I called the clinic at 5:30 PM to get that corrected. I left the clinic around noon and I might...might have the antibiotic by 7:30 PM. This is absolutely unacceptable. At every other urgent care clinic I have ever visited, the doctor wrote and sent the prescriptions to the pharmacy while I was in the exam room. Today as I left the clinic, the very cheerful receptionist told me that my prescription would be sent to the pharmacy in the order of the patients before me, so give it about 1-1/2 hours. (??) When I went to CVS 2-1/2 hours later the clinic still had not sent it. When I called and told the receptionist that I was waiting at the pharmacy, she said the doctor was busy and it may be another hour. Just a bizarre, maddening experience. I will never go to an AFC Urgent Care again. read more
