I was hit by someone with Progressive Insurance. First, I was told they had insurance and a claim was filed. Second, I was told they had insurance and that Progressive needed more information from me. Then I was told that they didn't have insurance until an hour after the accident so the claim was closed. Finally, when I called back to ask questions about what happened I was treated very rudely by the person I talked to, was told they didn't have insurance until 10 minutes after the accident, and was told literally told, to bad we can't help you. As the victim I felt completely victimized again by the person I talked to. My recommendation is do not use Progressive for anything. They are not reputable and will not do what they are supposed to do. Also, I believe that someone like the BBB should look into there practices as well.
