Dont go here for repair. Guy demands cash then doesn't give a receipt. Tuned my brand new detailer says I need other parts to the tune of $350 then the spring on the derailer which he worked on twice breaks right in front of him and he's just like oh well deal with it I honestly feel like they stole from me!!!! Jeff, at Mission Trails Bike shop is amazing! Super friendly and did a great job on my Lectric xp3.0 (which has 1400 miles on it) I had a flat rear tire, and I asked him to do a general check up as well. When I dropped it off, he noticed that the chain was stretched and would need to be replaced. He made sure everything was tightened up and working properly and cleaned and lubed the hub. This place is the worst bike shop ever, the owner Jeff doesn't know about Mountain bikes at all, all he did while I was in there was talking shit about how my bike was old. He quoted me 80 dollars and 1 week, I called him 2 weeks later and he told me he lost my phone number and hasn't done anything and he could not fix my bike and had to send it to fox, now I'm barley picking up my bike 2MONTHS LATER, and now instead of it being $80 it's going to cost 320, I asked for a discount and he was very rude and didn't want to give it to me don't take your bike here I could have taken it to black mountain and they would have fixed it in 2 weeks for 250 instead of 2 MONTH AND $320 STAY AWAY!!!! read more

TRUST WHAT PEOPLE SAY ON THEIR BAD REVIEWS!!!! Brought in my bike for a simple stripped out crank arm. Jeff took my name and number and tells me he'll let me know by the end of the day. I asked how much do u think it'll cost he just says I'll let u know. Fast forward to later that day. I called in to see if there's any updates and Jeff tells me that they're still working on my bike. I thought that was odd coz it's just a stripped out crank arm it shouldn't take that long to figure out if it's fixable or not. Make the long story short I called him and said I rather just pick up my bike and get a new crankset. Jeff tells me I can do that but he'll charge me $50 for working on my bike. If I was born yesterday or a newbie to mountain biking then I would've obliged but who is this guy think he's fooling. $50 for taking out the cranks on my bike and not do anything? I went back in to the shop and got my bike. Jeff was not there after I just told him Im on my way to pick it up. I spoke to his associate and he could not agree with me more. He gladly gave me back my bike while having Jeff on the phone still telling me I need to pay. Went in to get a little bicycle trailer (the ones that attach to the back of the bicycle that you can put a child or dog into) and the owner Jeff was helpful in showing them and said it'd mount right to my bike with a little modification to the bracket that holds it on (he literally just had to drill the hole out a little bit to get it to fit my bike) I said alright sounds good he said great, come pick it up tomorrow! I responded with a hesitant yes wondering why it'd take more than 3 minutes to drill the hole a little bigger. Figured maybe there was something I was missing so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and agreed to come get it tomorrow. The next day I sent my girlfriend to pick it up and he came out showing it to her and she immediately noticed this one looked used, was sun damaged, ripped and very dirty. She contacted me explaining it to me and I looked at it and sure enough it was all of these things. He blamed the construction across the street and instead of offering to order us a new one and just use the same small modified bracket on it or discount it or work with us at all he completely shut down not listening to my girlfriend at all pushing anything she said to him right off and stormed inside the store disappearing. Very disappointed with my experience here, will not be going back or recommending it to anyone. Very inappropriate way to treat a customer. read more

Short and not so sweet review.....should have read the reviews first DUH!!!!! First impression, this place is an absolute dump inside, why I didn't load my MTB back up on my truck as soon as I saw it I don't know but severally regret it now. Just needed a simple rear wheel truing, Jeff (owner) looked at it and said no problem " I have the best wheel guy in town" hahahaha give me a couple of days, 7 days later and zero difference from when I dropped it off except for a bunch of stripped nipples from not using a proper spoke tool and a bunch of new dings and scratches on my $7K bike because they cram a thousand POS bikes inside this tiny little store every night and empty them out every morning. Owner Jeff is a complete anything bike related moron and doesn't honor any of the prices he lists on his website, charged me double the website price and he did nothing but cause new damage, had to pay or he wasn't going to give me my bike back, straight up rip off artist. We're in the middle of a pandemic that's highly contagious, and it's important for people who are now open to be as careful as possible, for the sake of customers who also go home to families. I walked in with a beach cruiser needing some maintenance. I was greeted quickly by the staff and they diagnosed the issues I was having. They told me they could fix it and within 4 days I got the call that it was done. After a test ride I can assure you it was fixed and my bike ran like new. Great staff and owner is friendly. Went in to rent a bike. First off, if you're renting a bike to someone you should assume they need a helmet. They do not offer a helmet unless you buy. Before leaving with a bike we sat in the parking lot and made a couple calls to see if someone else has bikes to rent with helmets included. We ended up finding a place and went right back inside and wanted to return the bike. We didn't even leave the parking lot and they wanted to charge me $30 for his "time". I was willing to pay but he was pretty much asking a $1 a minute for his time. Not only that he didn't even set up the bike when we were leaving with it. He didn't seem to know how to set up the suspension for the rider. Not only that when he finally was giving me the return he threw the cash at me and walked away. I will never go to this place again nor will I recommend it ti anyone else. Service was absolute garbage read more

Trust the bad reviews you read! If I could give no stars I would. I will not be back to this bike shop again or recommend anyone to do business there. The 1st time I went to get my daughter's bike tire fixed. He over charged me for what needed to be done. I asked if they had a military discount and he said he could only give me a $ 1.25 off and only if I paid cash. I decided to give a community business a 2nd chance. The owner Jeff is not personable or friendly! I needed the tire on my son's stroller fixed. He told me it would be 20$ to replace the tube and didn't even offer or suggest it might just need air. I left and put air into the tires that were flat and that was all the tires needed. He was going to charge me for something I didn't even need. Find a new bike shop if you haven't already. read more

This bike shop recently opened up right down the street from Mission Trails Regional Park just east of West Hills Boulevard. you have to really look for it as you drive by it because it can be easy to miss. I agree with the previous poster about the owner very knowledgeable and willing to discuss pretty much any aspect of biking. if you're riding in Mission Trails and haven't been there before he has a wealth of knowledge. and if you're having a problem with your bike in that area he can repair it pretty quickly so you still can continue with your day. it has been extremely convenient for me to have this place as a resource. New Bikes-there is a small selection of new bikes with everything from Mountain to road to three wheelers. Electric Bikes-there's also a selection of electric bikes which I have yet to try. Rentals- due to the proximity of the campgrounds in the area, he has rental bikes both mountain and Road available. Repairs- had him take care of some minor problems with my bike, adjusting brakes and truing wheels. the repairs held up and everything's been fine on the bike. Parts- I had him order some parts for me and they are taking the same amount of time as any Bike Shop has required to get your parts. ry to accommodate your needs on the same day or at the time of your arrival read more

She recently had knee surgery and the Gentleman who worked there was so professional, attentive and willing to spend the time and show us all the bikes they had. He gave my Wife suggestions both new and used and spent a good amount of his time ensuring my Wife found just the right Bike. He even went further detailing to ensure that the bike was beautiful!
