We first worked with Rick 6+ years ago when we moved into our home. He installed shutters in our bedrooms and office, and they've held up beautifully. I remembered how professional and on top of everything he was, so I reached out again when we needed blinds for our bedroom. Jeremy and Parker came out for measurements and made the whole process incredibly easy. They walked us through options, gave thoughtful suggestions, and provided an estimate. All in about 10-15 minutes. About two weeks later, they returned for installation and were done in under 5 minutes. Everything was seamless. The best part is how it turned out. It's exactly what we envisioned, if not better. We now have automated blinds in our bay window that give us privacy while still letting in light, and they look so clean in person. They even upgraded us to a system without a visible battery pack, which made a big difference aesthetically. Truly some of the best in the industry. Friendly, efficient, and trustworthy. We live near Vantage Point and for those who have sky windows/ solarium windows in their plan 4 Shea homes, Tim is pretty good at installing the replacement windows, especially after this 2nd set of installation windows. The first one had issues and Tim had to come out a few times after installation to make modifications, but the 2nd set of Solarium windows went in smoothly. Walter worked with us to pick the right product and colors. We went with Shinnoki real wood veneer panels. They are beautiful and durable. Once they got the veneer up, they routed then hand-filed all of the openings. Then that meticulously painted the face frames to match the veneer. They even painted around the drawers where you can see very little of the painting they did. That shows a lot of pride! Walter also gave us the look of frameless cabinets even though we would have had to replace the cabinet boxes in order to make them frameless. That's a lot of extra work. We got a custom job for less than the price of a non-custom job. In the photos you can see the detail I'm talking about. I've included before and after pictures. The before pictures are all dark, ugly drawers and doors. The after pictures are the modern, two-tone look. In one photo in which I have a drawer pulled out with hot pads in it, Walter designed that and made it fit. There was not a drawer in there before because it's under the stove and the gas line was in the way. But Walter moved it. Walter's very conscientious and not afraid to tell you if he thinks something is not going to look good. He'll do whatever you want, but we learned that he knows what he's talking about. He identified the issue quickly and highlighted the lazy workmanship from our kitchen installers (Taranto Construction, Inc in Claremont, CA) who were subcontracted through Lowe's (who we purchased our kitchen from). The shelves collapsed because of loose screws from lazy installers at Taranto Construction, Inc. It's infuriating to have to pay someone to come solve an issue that goes back to completely loose screws in the hardware that would've taken an extra 5 seconds to properly tighten at the initial install. But they know people won't see it, so they cut corners. DO NOT EVER USE TARANTO CONSTRUCTION INC in Claremont CA for a kitchen install, or any Lowe's in the surrounding area, as this is who they refer the work to. After spending a short amount of time with Walter, it's clear he knows what he is doing and is a professional. He even tightened and adjusted other cabinet doors in our kitchen he noticed issues with that had nothing to do with the cabinet shelves he came to fix. He was a very nice guy and I was glad I called him. Thank you very much.

After 20 years of having the same furniture in our family room we decided that a change was due! We went to every store and found nothing that suited our room. Their pricing was ok but not the quality we were used to. Found Mission Upholstery through the Yellow Pages. Great find for us. Fernando was a great help. New cushioning and all like new. The best part was his guidance in the new covering. I picked one and he and my husband just kept looking at me. Fernando showed me 2 choices and of course he was right! They did an awesome job making my favorite chair and ottoman look like new! He researched specialized prints for me when I asked for certain patterns. When there was some material left over, he made removable covers for the arm, headrest, and ottoman. These will make it easier to keep my chair and ottoman looking like new longer! I love my "new" chair. He even delivered them to my home when they were ready. I would highly recommend him to re-upholster your favorite furniture. read more

I just had a very old wing chair and an ottoman reupholstered by Fernando at Mission Upholstery. He did a superb job with both, and they look like new. Fernando was helpful in selecting the fabric and was prompt in picking up and delivering our items. He is very nice and accommodating, and the price was reasonable. The fabric was perfect, she cushion perfectly fitted and it's as comfortable as it always was. I don't know who is running the company now, but I recently received the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. I took my dining room chairs in to have more cushion added to the seats. Leather was in excellent shape, but just needed more cushioning. Out of frustration, I picked them back up after 2 1/2 weeks because of lack of communication and nothing being done. I called and left messages three times to find out the status and NEVER got a return call. The only statement from Crystal was that they are "busy, busy, busy". Fine, but they should have returned my calls as I needed the chairs! I don't recommend taking your furniture there - they will take in higher paying jobs from more important clients and push yours to the back of the line.
