Got in contact with this company through Costco. Costco partners with Graber and Benjamin Draperies is a local company that sells & installs Graber products. My consultation with Mauro was great. He was knowledgeable and provided helpful insight. After I decided to go with them and signed the paperwork, I later wanted to make a change to my order. Mauro was very accommodating as he came back a 2nd time to get new paperwork signed. It took about 5-6 weeks for the shutters to get manufactured and once they were ready, Manny called to schedule the installation. He gave me an estimated time of arrival and estimated completion time and he adhered to both which I was pleased by. I'm very happy with my shutters and the overall experience. This is the third time Earl at Benjamin Draperies helped me with window treatments in our home. After the extreme heat last summer, I realized I needed something to reduce the heat in our SunRoom. The solar shades that Earl recommended are perfect! They were installed today and I'm delighted with them. When they are in the open position (up) they look seamless and you don't realize they're there. In the closed (down) position they reduce the heat/sun coming through. There is a sliding glass door and Earl recommended that they be in a reverse roll in two sections to prevent the shade from coming in contact with the door handle and provide flexibility in using the door while still providing shade to the adjacent large window. It was time for us to replace our old bedroom drapes and we dreaded it as we loved our old drapes. They had seen better days and we really had no choice. I started researching and came across Benjamin Draperies. Our first introduction was with Earl, he called and asked questions on what we might be interested in to better prepare himself for our visit. Earl was super helpful, brought sample books, took measurements, and gave suggestions. We agreed to meet at his office to go through more samples. His office is where we met his lovely wife Frances. Frances showed us so many samples and since we are pretty fussy and we were looking for something similar to what we had, it was no easy task. I cannot say enough good things about these two. They are professional, kind, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and they worked with us to get the cost in the ballpark of what we were thinking. When i decided i must get shades installed in my kitchen windows due to the morning sun affecting my migraine, i chose Benjamin Draperies based on their excellent reviews despite their price is not the lowest nor the highest. I am glad we made the right move. I had natural shades made to order and installed in November 2016. The customer service then was 5 stars. The communication was great, everything was on time. The only concern i had was the shades did not completely cover the entire window. I accepted the shades the way it was because i thought i probably requested it that way. 20 months later, i called Benjamin Draperies to have the drapes remake because the tiny ray of sun that the shades that did not cover still bother me completely. I told Frances, the owner it was my fault for not alerting the problems earlier during installation and i was really finger crossing hoping she would understand the situation and help me out despite almost 2 years later. Frances was very understanding and had all my shades remake to the measurement of my liking. I am completely speechless and grateful for her excellent customer service. I am sure any other drapery companies out there would not have entertain my phone call and request. After accepting my remake order, Benjamin still rush my shades and treat me like their first time customer buyer. The email and phone call communication is excellent, well explained. All email request is answered within 24 hours. Wow isn't it? The 2 installers who came to install my drapes are also great workers. They communicate very well with you in terms of estimate time arrival for installation. They are courteous and did their job very professionally. We need more great company like Benjamin Draperies who really offer their customer great personal customer service. They really care about their customer satisfaction. Earl and Frances have installed drapery hardware and shades throughout my house and have done an amazing job and offered great customer service. They are always on time to appointments and very professional. They come prepared to meetings with all possible window covering options, and while they are thorough, they are also efficient so that hours aren't spent picking out products. Frances is always prompt with follow up emails and calls also. In addition, the blind company sent one of the shades in the wrong width (about a 1/4" too narrow) and when I told Earl about this he stated that it was no problem and he'd order an new shade that day. The next week I had my new shade installed. In summary, their prices are very fair, they carry Hunter Douglas shades (which are gorgeous), Frances has a good eye for what looks good, Earl has great attention to detail in installation, and their customer service is great. read more

Best experience I've ever had with a contractor for a home repair, hands down!! Called Benjamin Draperies to repair the traverse rod/drapes in our bedroom, which had been damaged by my 4 year old daughter who pulled the drapes closed without using the cord. Earl came to our house within an hour of my phone call and was very professional. He fixed the traverse rod and reattached the drapes in less than 30 minutes and the price was very reasonable. He showed up when he said and I was thrilled with what he could do. I ordered the blinds. He said they would take a few weeks to come in. They came in at about two weeks and we scheduled the installation. Top notch all the way around. I honestly didn't go shopping all over so I wasn't sure if the prices were high or low. I spoke with a neighbor who went to 3 day blinds, she paid double what I did ( she had 1 extra window) and as of yesterday they still haven't gotten their last blind.....they ordered in October 2015! I am a Certified Interior Designer and needed a REALLY oversize (15') vertical head rail and cornice installed in my home. Frances gave me a great price and I made an appointment with Earl to install a couple of days later. Earl and Mauro did such a fantastic job of installing the vertical head rail on a wall that had very little solid wood to support it. It was installed very securely, despite it. The vanes just skim the floor by a fraction of an inch. The overall project looks quite elegant. Photo to follow.
