After getting bids from several contractors over a period of two months, I decided to choose Brady Boys for my window replacement project. The project was 18 windows + two patio doors with energy efficient windows (dual pane, low-e3 + argon gas). We have a garden window in the kitchen that every other contractor could not replace without breaking a portion of the kitchen counter that leads out to the window. Tim was able to custom fit four glass pieces in the existing structure using a metal bending machine without damaging any of the kitchen counter space. Ask Tim to show you before and after pics, which will showcase the level of skill and experience needed to complete that type of replacement. Tim and his crew pay close attention to detail and know how to perform proper installation. For example, when caulking the windows on the exterior, they use painters tape to make sure the caulking is straight and uniform across all sides. It is very critical to choose a contractor that is a professional installer, otherwise that large investment (thousands of dollars) can go to waste. Can't beat the price and the work is excellent. I hired them to change out a door and frame. Well sometimes after you remove the old door, you find some other stuff that was unknown because you can't see it at the time he gave the estimate. Well Brady still made good on his price and still did an excellent job. He probably had to put in an extra hour or so, since he puts a lot of pride in his work. Four words: Hire the Brady Boys! I was fortunate enough to see a neighbor's window installation from a locally televised group prior to Tim coming out and doing my installation which we had already signed the contract for. The difference was night and day, if you want sub-contractors hired by televised commercial companies coming to your house and doing a half-ass job, then by all means hire them. Tim and his crew are efficient, and have pride in the work they do. Tim even noticed that the sliding glass door was expanded out in the middle due to too much argon gas between the panes that I didn't see it until he pointed it out. He notified the company about the problem and they're coming out next month to fix it. Tim and I also walked over to the neighbors house and examined what they did (very bad), it also took the sub-contractors about two weeks to finish and Tim and his boys were done in a week with one day lost due to rain! So, use the Brady Boys, you'll hear really good music while they're working, have some great conversations if you have the time, and maybe you'll find a new golfing partner like I did. read more
