I brought in my DualSense controllers to fix analog stick issues and paid $100 to repair three knobs. Just one week later, I had the exact same issue with one of the supposedly repaired sticks. When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $60 to fix what should have already been resolved. What's most frustrating is that I couldn't get a clear explanation as to why I was being charged again for the same issue. If a repair doesn't hold up after a week, that should fall under some kind of workmanship guarantee--not an additional charge. I want to continue supporting this business because I've had good experiences in the past, but this situation felt unfair and left me questioning the quality and accountability of the repairs.

The charging port on my phone had been getting more and more finicky, and then it all but stopped working -- it wouldn't give that convincing last inward motion that lets you know that it's all the way in, followed by its "yes, I'm charging" sound that sounds a bit like BART when it gets underway. Cleaning the port with a very thin, whittled-down wood match hadn't worked, so I started figuring out what phone I would buy, but soon realized that what I really wanted to do was to keep using the phone I have. Then I did some research about services to fix charging ports and called up this place near Mission and 24th. A human being answered the phone and provided very clear answers (yes, we have the part if we need to replace the part, and yes, we can try cleaning the port first). I said I'd be there pronto. When I got there they said it would take ten minutes, so I went for a quick walk. When I returned they said all was good. They had a cable at the counter for plugging it in, and when I did that the cable, for the first time in weeks, made that convincing last inward motion followed by the BART-like hum, so I knew it was seated just right. I never expected to get the best price, NATIONALLY, for repair of my Samsung Galaxy J7. Local prices were double the cost. The service was simply the best. They did not have a decent screen in stock so they drove to another location to pick it up for me and still have it ready within two hours. I couldn't make it that day, but the next day I wised up and took Mission BART (which is right across the street from Mission Wireless location). This place is THE BEST! Great customer service. I took my phone in to them because AFTER having had the screen replaced at a different repair place, it stopped working. The new screen started to pop loose about a week after having it replaced and then stopped working completely. Turns out the guy who first replaced my screen did a terrible job. I washed my iPhone X after a backpacking trip that had us going…read morepast poison oak, and I thought the waterproof rating would protect it (it did not, probably because I also used soap). I went in after the Apple store told me they'd do nothing to help me get a backup, and the best they could do was replace my phone with a new one for $600+, without any of my data. Anthony immediately gave me advice about how to attempt a backup, and walked me through getting an iCloud setup and attempting a backup. Unfortunately, the phone didn't stay on for long enough for the backup to complete. So he took it and removed all the water, then did a backup before attempting ANY other repairs as I had told him the most important thing was my data (I didn't ask him to do this - he just listened and understood what my priorities were). Then Anthony tested the phone fully and told me what other repairs would be required. All in all, fixed my phone back to perfect working order for much less than the cost Apple were going to charge, PLUS they saved all my data. Sweet Memory were reliable, quick to answer questions, and regularly gave me updates on exactly how it was going. Phone problems really ruin your week, but they made it much less painful. It really frustrated me a lot. I'm calm and very open-minded, but this whole interaction and service disappointed me. Like, what do you mean you don't know how to do a refund and can't fix it? I thought all employees from this place knew how to fix the phone, or if they didn't have the piece to recommend me somewhere else, but no. I opted out and told her I'm just gonna find somewhere to see if they could fix and I did. I went somewhere in Burlingame, and the nice gentleman took his time and told me what they did to my phone and showed me what they did, and apparently they burnt or broke a piece of wiring from my phone, causing it to overheat, with it leading to shut off. I was so mad when I found out, and more mad that I wasted my 147 bucks just for my phone to be broken. i aswell took photo of what they did. Again, never coming here again. Felt like a whole scam atp To Owner: The overheating started shortly after the repair, and I went back to see what was wrong, but you had already left. I went back today to get it serviced, and the other employee refused. I had two witnesses who heard the interaction, and she was not able to give a refund. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service.

I was just at the limit of my one year warranty, so I sent it in and they put in a new screen for free- a manufacturer's factory warranty job. The FedEx guy just returned it, and it looks great. They also sent their best tempered glass screen protector. I figured, "I've got a new screen and a high-quality protector; let's go get a pro to install it." So I called SF Smart Wireless, and explained that I had a new factory screen and a new factory screen protector. Could they install the screen protector for me? "Sure we can." "Okay, I'll be over in a little while." Here's the "Professional" job the guy did for me. He told me, "You can see some bubbles when it's turned off, but they aren't as visible when the phone is turned on." I guarantee you, the bubbles are visible when the phone is turned on! "Some bubbles???" I've got 34 bubbles on my phone screen now, and I've only had it back from the factory for an hour! This is my day off. I've got things to do. Now I've got to go out and try & find someone to fix the damage SF Smart Wireless did on the phone I just got back an hour ago.

I was unlucky because it's rare to get a defective screen, but I did. The screen kept freezing up and I texted Lew - he was so responsive and tried to help me trouble shoot. When nothing was working he made another appt with me and fixed it for me super fast and he noticed my iPhone case was a bit broken on the corner and also gave me a new case since I had to make 2 trips. This is explained prior to receiving/paying for service. But the reviews and past customer happiest led me to come here. I was also told I would be given the opportunity to test the screen before paying to ensure I was satisfied. Located in Westlake, once you get to the front door of the building it's a short easy walk up upstairs and it's the first office on the right. I signed in, he told me a few housekeeping things to be mindful of after the phone gets repaired. I dropped off the phone and it took no longer than 15 minutes. The screen worked great! Very responsive and felt like a brand new phone. I tested it and happily paid. I would not hesitate recommending people to come here for iPhone repairs.
