LIMA is so amazing! I have been going to Lima for over three years now. As a Black woman, I often find that people are unsure how to care for our skin; however, Lima knows exactly what to do. Lima is so kind, warm, and gentle with a beautiful spirit. She is also so honest and trustworthy. I always know I am in good hands when I step into her shop. The first time I ever went to Lima, I had never had a facial before, nor was I prepped for her to do what I had booked my appointment for. After doing an assessment of my skin, Lima explained that she wanted me to prep my skin before the peel and microdermabrasion. Before leaving, she did a hydrating face wash and explained how I should go about caring for my skin. She gave me free samples of the products she recommended and sent me on my way. She could have charged me for what I booked and completed the service, knowing that the results would not be good, but she did not. She did what was in the best interest of me, and I have never looked back. I went back to her a month later, and my skin was ready. The facial experience was so relaxing, and every step of the way, Lima walked me through what she was doing and what to expect from that specific treatment. The results I got were amazing!! My skin looked brand new. I have since gone back over five times, and each time I have had a wonderful experience. I normally book for the microdermabrasion and peel. However, if I go and she sees that another treatment would be better for my skin, I go with her recommendation. Again, She takes her time and makes sure you leave happy. She also sales the products she uses so you can maintain your skincare routine at home. She also tries to make sure you are using products without a lot of chemicals because many things on the market are full of stuff that isn't good for the skin. Lima is the sweetest and kindest human being! I have suffered from severe eczema on my face for MONTHS and it began to make me feel extremely insecure. I've tried all sorts of lotions and remedies, as I did not want to apply steroids on my face. I found Lima on Instagram and followed her for a little while and I decided to get a facial to see if it would at least calm it down. My first time I came in for an enzyme peel and she pointed out my eczema and recommended the Neosporin Eczema Essentials lotion and that really helped reduce the flakiness. I have seen Lima a couple of times now and let me tell you, she is great! Lima offers a variety of facials and skincare treatment. My go to is the microdermabrasion facial. Lima does a good job letting you know what your skin needs by assessing it first, then letting you know what she recommends. She offers skincare products as well but she is not pushy with it at all. Lima is also very generous and just such a sweet person. My skin always looks great after seeing Lima. Lima is located in Nataly Salon in Natomas (right behind evolution fitness). As other reviews state that Lima is definitely very good at what she does. I've thoroughly enjoyed my facials with her and she is very attentive toward each client's needs. However, in November she stopped responding to my messages and I assumed perhaps she was traveling or something occurred. I could no longer find her on Instagram. And, truly I didn't think anything of it as drastic things occur in a person's life. From time to time I would text her yet no response. Today I randomly decide to look her up on Facebook and come to find out that she's been active. Then I went on someone else's instagram and find out that she's on it yet she has chosen to block me on Instagram as well as my number. Which is perfectly fine. I truly feel that if a client has been coming to you for a months and if the person chooses to no longer serve that client, be an adult about it and inform that client. We are all adults here and can handle whatever the reasoning may be. I'm truly disappointed that Lima couldn't communicate that she no longer wanted to offer her services to me. Update- I'm glad the one star lead to you responding. True I was late and canceled twice as you mentioned in your response to my Facebook message after I posted this. I never once asked for a discount, nor for your free kits, I don't even enjoy using image products. You offered them to me to try them out. The couple things that I did like I purchased them for you which were not image products. I have never asked for a single discount and always paid your prices and truly have no issues paying for anyone's services. You talked me into 3 treatments for lightening my dark spots which didn't do anything for my skin and I still paid the full price. Please at least learn to be honest instead of feeding lies. If you expect your clients to be on time, you should also not leave to get stuff from your husband in the middle of their appointment for 10 mins, or answer phone calls or text messages during their appointments. As it goes both ways. I'm not upset that you choose not to do my facials, I've already got a replacement. I just feel that you could have been vocal about it instead of saying it's okay when I mentioned i was running late. I didn't just show up late, I notified you and your response was always"it's okay, I understand" clearly you don't understand therefore you choose to go out of your way to block me instead of being professional about it. As my 43rd birthday approaches, I decided to get my very first facial Lima is FANTASTIC and all the 5 star reviews are definitely earned!!! For starters, we all know how hard it is to find parking downtown, not when you go see Lima, her studio has a designated parking area!!! The studio is very clean, warm and welcoming just like Lima. I got the customized signature facial and it was worth every penny!!! she even added a back and hand treatment to the already great package you see online. I was able to learn so much about my skin during this visit and after I was shocked that my face was not red and irritated which sometime happens after I wash my face due to my skin being sensitive. At first I thought this girl is amazing! She knows what she's doing and she is very knowledgeable in what she does. She explains what she's doing during your facial and explains the products. One thing she lacks BIG time is her customer service. She will ask you to come earlier or later every time you book an appointment even though you have your own schedule. She will make you wait for her to finish her previous client anywhere from 30min to an hour! And worst of all, she will cancel your appt through her online scheduling without asking you first or rescheduling with you through text or phone. She won't even tell you that she canceled it!
