In the dry season filled with pollen falling from the skies in place of rain and dirt getting stirred up from the roads, I see my car accumulating the two quickly. I drove to Mister Car Wash due to its convenient location and previous satisfaction with one-time washes. This time around, I chose the all-you-can-wash monthly option because of the first month discount. The first and second washes so far in two weeks cleaned the car satisfactorily, and I am comfortable that their drive-through cleaning will not damage my exterior. For now, I'll keep returning due to the reasons above and look forward to the regular rain showers. read more

Unfortunately, nothing to be said about consistency. While last time I went, they did an excellent job at this location, this time was a disaster. Aside from the great gal who rang me up, this visit was extremely disappointed. I have called a couple of times to request a refund but no one has returned my calls. I went for just the exterior of my car, a basic wash to be done because it has been at least seven months since I washed it. Just needed a basic cleaning, and yes, I could have visited one of the businesses where you can self vaccum, I was tired, so that was not an option. Went to the sign that stated Exterior and was ready to do the transaction myself but one if the workers raced over to assist. Sure. He tried to see if I wanted to sign up for the annual washing pricing, nope. If I was going to tip... for what? All the other worker did was direct where to steer my car, so another nope. Drove in where the machines did their work and I was back on the road. Was it worth the $10? The car looked cleaner, but the rims were barely cleaned by the swirling brushes. read more

3 important things! 1. - This IS NOT a self serve car wash. They do not have free vacuums nor can you drive yourself through. This is detailing packages only! 2. - If you want your trunk vacuumed you have to ask them. We purchased the $38 package and they didn't ask. Which blows my mind because they have check in process on tablets but don't have a prompt to ask the customer if they want the trunk cleaned? That's kind of ridiculous. The check in person saw us cleaning out the junk in the trunk (pun intended) leaving it completely empty and at the end of the wash it was still in the condition we left it. 3. - they don't have an air pump so if you're hoping for little crevices with dust to be cleaned, you will be disappointed. The interior cleaning is a gentle spray down and an equally as gentle wipe down. I'm being completely honest ya'll, we had to pull into a self serve Mister closer to home (east colonial/Chickasaw) to vacuum the trunk, vacuum the crevices, and wipe down the interior. We wasted so much time getting our car detailed here. I am not a stickler when it comes to car detailing services because you can't expect one 10 minute cleaning session to undo years of accumulated dirt/grime but I feel like for a $40 package the bare minimum was met and barely at that. 2 stars only because the employees work hard and nonstop. But as one reviewer stated, they don't have canopies in the heat and I feel like that affects the service on the cars because I could be wrong but I don't feel like they can see the dirty areas as well because of the glare from direct sunlight. The exterior was basic car wash clean (which I expected) It was packed, maybe about 10-15 cars going through the detailing process and we got out in about 30-40 mins (but for the quality of the service I see why). So if you're looking for a clean that is quick but not that thorough, this is your place. TL;DR - don't get the $38 package unless you want to waste your money. In the 30-40 minutes you could pay $10-$30 less and spend the time at self serve, do it yourself, and get the same outcome in my opinion. read more

I gave you five stars, because my car looks fantastic and the guys working are so kind and accommodating. **HOWEVER** please take better care of your employees. They are standing in the direct Florida sun with the awnings having been removed. It was the first thing I noticed, when I drove up and I was hurting for them. Honestly not my favorite location for Mister Car Wash. I don't know what it is, I have basic unlimited monthly membership so I just go through the wash and that's that. I've been to three different locations and for whatever reason this one just doesn't quite offer the complete wash and satisfaction that I get from my regular (and favorite) location on Lee road. Possibly because it's older? I don't know. But it works for a quick run through, as I have a black car so it works as well as a quick rinse I guess. But when I really want my car clean I go to the Winter Park Lee Road location. read more

1/5/2023 - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! After moving back to the area, I had to find a new place to take my car for a wash. I was hoping to get a membership like I had at my prior spot and this place is so close to where I live, so my hopes were high! I gave these people multiple chances after multiple visits, in hopes that things would turn around, I but each visit has gotten worse! I was charged $45, with a five dollar tip, for basically nothing! I pulled into the interior lane, obviously wanting an "interior cleaning" along with my exterior wash. Well, their definition of an "interior cleaning" for $45, is a vacuum and window cleaning. Don't worry though, they don't charge you extra for all of the spray/cleaner that they leave behind, sprayed all over your top of line leather interior. Oh, and just be advised that you must specifically ask them to wipe down the dash and center console!! But FEAR NOT, the attitude and eye roll you get from the girl greeter with the glasses, is also, on the house! She acted like I had just asked her for a free hand wax. So rude! And forget it anyway, they didn't even bother to touch the dash, center console, cup holders. None of it. Zero was wiped down. None of my "special" requests were fulfilled and the 2 guys that were working had ZERO sense of urgency... I had to ask to borrow the dudes rag to wipe down my own door jams (including the tailgate) and also to clean up the mess that they left inside from the spray. Every employee that I've seen that works there looks miserable and all they care about is pushing their sales on you & how much you're gonna tip them. However, they fail to provide the service to you that you have just paid for. It rained a bit while I was there, (#TypicalFloridaWeather) and the guy told me that they don't wipe the cars down when it's raining. Total BS!!! It rained, but it only lasted 5 minutes (if that) and it stopped before they even called me out to get my car to tell me it was, "ready". Plus, my vehicle was parked under the covered detail canopies and I was the only car there at the time. Unbelievable! What did I pay for, here???? Wipe it down! I'm so annoyed that I spent my hard earned money at this place!! It's like they don't know where they work and what their job is. What a total waste! Go work somewhere that makes you happy! Consumers, if you want great service and an amazing result at the car wash, do yourself a favor and go visit the folks at, SWEETWATER CAR WASH, in Apopka. It's literally the ONLY place I have gotten exactly what I paid for (every single time) at a car wash, and with great service!!! So much so that I will drive 20 minutes just to get there because they're that great! They're also less expensive and they'll even wash & dry your WeatherTech mats with your FULL interior cleaning. Spotless every time!!!! The last thing I'd like to add is that, I have worked in every department at a car wash and this kind of experience would have never happened in a million years at our store!!! I have the unlimited membership to this place. Cancelling that membership today. They are always closed the majority of the time I go by. Just went today at 156 on 7-20. Workers are there but they are closed. I've been here multiple times multiple days in a month and I would say at minimum they were closed half the time. I am so aggravated with this place. I pay for monthly wash and wax ($30) and the staff really doesn't care about the service they provide. I have emailed them and had no response. When you enter the carwash, the lazy guy that works the computer and uses the brush on the front of your car, obviously is there for a reason. He hasn't cleaned the front of my car in 6 visits. Like other reviewer said, you don't get what you paid for. The menu is very confusing and I believe this is the case for the staff as well. I have been once before and they did a pretty good job with only a couple of guys, I waited 30 minutes or so and my car was clean. Last night, I paid for the platinum $36 deal plus a $10 tip, with about 234 people working on my car, and waited about 45 seconds. I could of gotten the same results from an $8 self serve car wash, and a handful of change to hastily vacuum the floors. They upgraded the inside, and downgraded the outside. I would of been happy with the modest waiting area and a clean car. read more

Staff is super friendly and helpful. I came for a hand wash to learn that this location does not offer them. I ended up getting the $18 machine wash. Barely did anything to clean the car. Really disappointed in the wash and I feel bad for the employees that are standing in the hot sun. I thought they had cabanas or something. No vacuums here for use either. I will start off with they were very busy Saturday afternoon when we went, but as we were waited a guy made us go to the shorter line but the lady who writes down your order took the 3 people in the other line we were in plus one more than decided to help us. So it started off not the best & she was rude at the same time. Although I thought about leaving I still let them go ahead with the service. After the wash we noticed the vacuuming was very well done as well as the child's car seat which we thought was nice. Shout out to Demetrius for going the extra mile, he answered every question I had about the monthly subscription. On top of that, I spilled a coffee in my brand new truck and even though they are temporarily not servicing the inside (Covid problems), he came over and gave me towels to clean it out and went the extra mile. We have the monthly outside service which is fine. It's $10 extra over the monthly charge to get the interior done. That being said, the interior service for $10 is the quality of $10. They don't get all the windows, there's still going to be sand on your floor mats, and the dirty wet shoe prints of the people who were in your car will be on the door sill. They'll also keep using a dirty cloth on several surfaces. For example they will wipe down the dash board, steering wheel, door panels, door handles, and then take that same cloth that's now dirty and head for the dashboard...and wipe the screen of your stereo...scratching the $&@&! out of it. So, overall the exterior service is fair. Interior should be saved for a service that comes to you. Those people at least "try". read more

I have taken my car to this car wash three time already. The first time I had just arrived for a long trip (2000 miles) and my car needed serious attention so I paid for the highest level of wash $38.00. The level of cleanliness from 1 to 10 was a . The second time I paid the regular price of $18.00 and the level of cleanliness was still a 7- the Third time I also paid the $18.00 and still got substandard service. Staff is friendly they have a process I believe comes from sales training. The car wash is just too expensive for the level of results you will get. This is my local neighborhood car wash. My husband got me a monthly car wash pass because I have to park my car under a tree, So it's always dirty from tree stuff or bird poop, so I'm at this car wash very often. The people who work here are very friendly & I've never had a problem. One month my husband had to cancel his credit card. So that month they couldn't bill it. But the guy didn't give me a hard time about it. He told me to make sure my husband adds a new credit card ASAP. I appreciated him not making me back out and come back another time. My only two complaints are one they don't have a self vacuum place at this location like they do at others. My second complaint is they don't always brush the back of my car when I go through and because my Dodge Charger has that sports tail thing on the back it doesn't always get as clean as I would like. Tried them for the first time today, great job. First I took my wife's car and when I pulled out the tires slipped then I brought my Camaro and pulled out like I do always but it being a powerful car with performance tires it got away a bit so great job but careful pulling out because whatever is sprayed on the tires or just driving through the place makes the tires slick. I honestly don't know why they get bad reviews. They do a decent job. The prices are a little high that's why I deducted one star. They typically get you in and out in 20-30 min with a car wash and vacuum. I recently upgraded to the 20 bucks unlimited car washes with love bug season. I visited this car wash on 08/29/2018 around 10am since I was in the area. My vehicle had not been washed in about a few days. There were a few bugs on the front and some minor dirt and dust on the paint. I paid $18 for the express platinum wash to ensure all the items were removed from my vehicle and it was completely clean. I exited the car wash and to my disappointment, the front grill of my truck still contained all the bugs and appeared to have not been cleaned at all. To pay for an $18 car wash and have the same amount of bugs on the front of my vehicle is unacceptable. I pay to have my vehicle washed and my patronage supports this business only to be forced to go home and rewash my vehicle myself. I have visited other car washes in this area wear the front of the vehicle has been sprayed or wiped down before entering the wash. Customer service appears to be fading from society and apparently there is no such thing as a quality service. read more

They have cut corners, employees are rushing cars out without properly drying and they haven't even finished putting covers up so their employees are now working in the hot sun. My boyfriend and I are at Mister Car Wash for the second time today, trying to get the wash and wax we paid for during our initial visit this morning. I specifically requested wax, as I was concerned about UV protection, as I discussed with the service attendant who took our order. However, I wasn't sure I saw it applied as we went through the automated car wash, and should've double checked before leaving. Upon arriving home, I immediately noticed that our car's finish was matte--no wax shine, and the surface felt matte-dry instead of smooth. I poured half a bottle of water over the hood, roof, and trunk--none of which beaded. I then called Mister Car Wash corporate to report the issue and see what they'd do to make this right. A service rep named Tyrone advised me to go back and speak with the regional manager, and assured me services we paid for would be completed. We're now back on site; the manager helpfully upgraded us to the platinum level, which we appreciate. But this never should have been an problem, and it's a waste of our time. Moral of this review: Watch carefully to make sure the services you bought were completed, and check your car before you leave. Update: The wax was maybe(?) applied during the second visit. Still not convinced. Once the car was returned to us, I poured water on hood, roof, and trunk while still at Mister Car Wash--in front of several employees. Nothing beaded on the hood; water sort of beaded on the roof and trunk. A staff member mansplained that the lack of beading is because our hood surface is uneven and the clear coat is old/worn. It is indeed an older car but, ironically, the hood is the newest part--replaced by a reputable body shop two years ago, as a factory part with new paint and clear coat, and we've had absolutely no problems with wax and beading before today. (I often hand wash, wax, and buff the car myself, and am thus attentive to how the finish looks and performs, but I was trying to avoid the chore in the hot Florida summer sun. Mistake and unfortunate expense. I'll clearly need to strip and rewax the car.) I will say the Mister Car Wash staff did a decent job cleaning the interior during our upgraded service, and everyone was fairly polite (mansplaining aside). I paid to get the ultimate wash and when I got my car back, it was still dirty, stuff on the inner window was still there. They didn't clean the dash and console as promised. I haven't written a review in a while, and really didn't want it to be be a negative one. However, I couldn't let this one go by. I went to try this place on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy and took me in right away. I opted for the Platinum $32 wash, which I was told would be a full scrub of the exterior, and vacuum/polish of the interior. Now, I wasn't expecting a detail, but my rims were obviously not cleaned, or sprayed with armor all, and the interior was quickly wiped down. I come from Phoenix, where you get a lot more for $20, than just what would probably equate to a spit shine here. Never again read more
