Today, I got my car washed at the Eden Prairie car wash. Very long lines which ended with 3 lanes converging into the wash. The manager knocked on my closed window indicating I needed to move over to the left. First rule. There are certain things you do not touch unless you are given permission. A person''s car is one of them. Secondly your lack of planning, engineering and direction does not constitute an emergency for me. I looked at the manager and then looked forward with a blunt flat affect which is deserving of the chaos outside my car that was happening . A suggestion would be to place an employee in the middle of the lane after the gates to direct which car is next in line This might help solve the problem. On Dec 13, 2023 at 9am I took my dark blue Infinity through the Mister Car Wash in Eden Prairie. As I put the car in neutral and started to move forward for the wash I noticed the brushes starting up but NO water or soap was falling down onto my car. I honked my horn but the clueless attendant just stared at the car in line behind me. I went through the wash with the brushes scratching the sides and top of my car with NO water or soap for lubrication - just dirty, dry brushes rubbing and scratching my car, and all the cars in front and behind mine. After the wash I pulled around and stopped to access the damage - scratches and swirls all over especially on the sides of the car. I spoke to the driver that was behind me and they were shocked when I pointed out the damage to their car. I couldn't find a supervisor so I left my name and number for Fred (the manager) to call me - he never did. As I drove off there were cars lined up 10 deep to go through the wash. I stopped by a couple days later to talk to the manager (Fred) but he wasn't there and the supervisor told me they caught the problem a couple hours after I went through and closed the wash for 3 hours to make repairs. He said Fred would call me ASAP - he never did. So if the Mister Car Wash can handle a 1 car per minute and the issue was caught an hour after I went through that means that the 3 hours it was open that morning the Eden Prairie Mister Car Wash probably damaged 200 cars. They probably have insurance for this kind of damages but if you can't get the Manage to contact you it seems like we're all out of luck - maybe we need to stop going there? read more

NOT FULL SERVICE as comes up in search. For $20 I'd expect a much better job than this (see photos). While they do provide vacuums they are self service. Also there is nothing to wash mats off (hello we are in MN and most people have weather tech or similar which need a good spray now and then) or wipe inside or windows with. I was expecting at least some service with a quick wipe of interior and a quick vacuum. I used to have a place where for $25 they'd wash, hand dry, wipe the interior including the windows. Save your money and use a gas station of similar where you get the same exterior wash for 1/2 the price Now I have to still visit a self service was to clean my mats and the spots there machines missed. Wasn't sure what to expect with the temp being 33 degrees, but my car was sure in need of some TLC after the 16 hour drive from Texas. Exterior was really good , would have liked a bit more detail payed attention to my wheels . Inside was again really good , just wish they would have lifted up the mats to sweep under them. tried Mister today in Eden Prairie and bought the $26 platinum wash. Disappointed. They hand sprayed then ran me through the wash. what surprised me was the duration of wash from start to finish was about 90 seconds. Very short and it looked like it when it was completed. Did not clean and full of water spots. Vacuums on site for use with paid car wash, were too weak to provide worthwhile suction. Lesson learned. read more

As a driver for Uber and lift, I've been to a lot of Mr. car washes. This is absolutely my least favorite one. It's a pain in the butt to get into the line. The first time I was here I must've picked the wrong line. Because the guy that was manning my lien was so busy chatting with his coworkers that the other two lines had three other cars ago I had of me in the other two lanes before he even came back to get my line going. Just got a new car and am determined to treat it better than the last one. That being said I have decided to join the Mister Car Wash club. For $24.72 per month I can wash my new car as much as my heart desires. There is another option that is maybe about $10.00 per month more but I am cheap and went with the lower option. That does not include the under carriage. If I feel my under carriage needs some attention I am told that I can upgrade at any time. Customer was pretty good. I understand the social distancing at the vacuum but you need someone monitoring that people are vacuuming and moving on. They had two you g kids detailing two cars and another guy wiping out every inch of his car so three spots out of six were taken. Another was sitting on his phone inside his car. Update: their social media team left a comment below to only try to protect their image and appear as though they would try to make this situation better. Unfortunately, I emailed them 3 times, zero response. I have been going to Mister Car Wash for a few years now. This past weekend will unfortunately be my last time there. As I was driving in, the person in front started to clean my windshield prior to going through the wash. When he grabbed the brush to wipe down the bugs on the windshield, he slammed the brush so hard into my car the stick cracked my windshield. I was shocked to see he had cracked it so badly, so I went to let the manager know. Todd, the manager, told me that they have signs stating they are not responsible for broken glass. I said I understood, but unfortunately I saw the individual hit my car with the stick and heard the crack. He said because it was a hot day and I had air conditioning going in my car that "this can happen." This is ridiculous. He never once apologized or felt bad that my windshield was cracked. I thankfully have full auto insurance and am able to get it fixed, but to not have someone even apologize for this employees poor action AND to try to blame me was not okay. All I can say is FREE VACUUMS! Wonderful car wash, happy staff, and free vacuums! A great place to get your car wash! Lines can seem long but the staff gets the cars through fast. Pro - tips: Ask for a cloth when they are drying your car, and wipe down the inside. Take your floor mats to the front of the wash, and they will wash them off for you! If it's not clean the first time, just ask about them running through the wash again - they are happy to do it. read more

Giving one star bec it was open at 5.30 though they had blocks to stop people from coming in even though they shd be closing at 7 pm on Monday. Upon honking at the a guy who may have been the shift manager who was on the phone , he removed the 'block' still in the phone . The regular kid who normally brushes off dirt and directs you in was now talking to the guy on the phone while I was waiting for someone to usher me into the car wash .. after several minutes I honked again and the kid came looking a little annoyed and let me in without using the long brush to remove the dirt before going into the wash. The Eden Prairie location is the worst one I've ever been to. The young lady at the gate is absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. I would give her five stars! But the guy with the hose that was suppose to do prewash barely even got the side of my car wet. I REALLY needed him to spray down the windshield and the top of the hood at least a little bit. There was bird crap that, as expected, did not come completely off in the car wash. I'm handicapped and so I'm not able to get out and finish cleaning and drying my car after the wash so I didn't have that option and be able to finish cleaning the windshield. At all other car washes were they do a pre-wash, they hose down the entire car quite well and take note of particularly dirty areas before sending the car through the wash. The guy at this place did absolutely nothing. And it wasn't just my car. He wasn't spraying down any of the car ahead of me, either. This prewash makes a huge difference in the quality of the wash especially because I'm not able to get out of the car and finish drying it on my own. It costs too much money not to get the full service I grown to expect from Mister Car Wash locations and how they so easily accommodate me by letting me remain in the car and they work around me. (I'm really going to miss my Roseville guys and gals!) I'm not sure the Eden Prairie location is going to work for me at all. This location isn't even a full service. I just can't see paying this much for the same wash I could get down the street at the gas station for half the price. read more

This is a great option if you plan to be in the area a few times a week. I have gotten the $24/month membership in warm months and the $32/month membership in the winter for about a year and a half. If you go 3+ times per week, it's worth every penny. Also, after leaving for college, I thought I had cancelled my membership. Due to a miscommunication, I was charged for another month. I went to the website and submitted my issue and I received a response in less than two hours, saying my cancellation was successful and a refund was on its way. Awesome customer service. read more

Damaged my car and didn't care! The conveyor system didn't work properly and ran my car into the car ahead of me. Luckily the only damage I sustained was a crumpled license plate and frame. The other driver and I waited 30 minutes for the manager to fill out a report and he told us 'someone would be in contact with us.' That was over two weeks ago and no call yet. They switched the car wash to basically automated, worthless. They never did an great job prior to switching, but at-least your car was dried off a little. Now there is no hand drying, and it is no better than a gas station car wash, not worth the price. I would drop my membership, if it wasn't for the Edina Mister Car wash. They just changed their process and added different equipment. They eliminated the employees that used to give the personal service of spraying and brushing off the car and at the end hand wiping off the extra drips. Its automated and they don't care about service any longer and all the familiar faces and the special attention to detail is gone. The team at Mister Wash blew me away today. I came in with a super dirty car full of bugs (I had just been up north the wknd before), paid for the $8 standard wash, went through the car wash and the team there told me to go through again. I went to the pay station again and let the woman know that the crew inside told me to go around again. When I pulled in for the second time they scrubbed the bugs off my front bumper (even one of the guys who was drying my car the first time came to help) then they gave me a complimentary second wash.
