Money hungry jerks. They see you pulling in a race to the machine to press higher package prompts on the screen while trying to distract you. Also- if you don't tip (and sorry, I'm not tripping on an automatic car wash) they call up to the worker inside with a "note" about your vehicle which leads to you getting a lower level package than you paid for. Bottom line- don't come here unless you want to get scammed and have your car look like crap. read more

We were in line for close to 15 minutes near closing time. Along with a lot of others. After waiting, and with cars behind us, they put their cones out and didn't allow any more to go through. Everyone had to figure out how to turn around and exit. It would make much more sense to put cones at the entrance if they didn't want more customers to come in. It would have been nice to honor those who already waited. Usually Mister is a very good experience. read more

This car wash never gets my windows and car clean. It does the absolute bare minimum and I always leave with a car that still needs to go through a car wash. Not to mention one of the employees at this car wash (girl with black hair) screamed at my husband when he was pulling in and continued to give him a death stare the entire time making it incredibly awkward. She's lucky I'm a Christian lady. Don't even get me started on the vacuums that they never clean out so there's absolutely no suction. I hate this car wash. read more

Was at the 6700 Kalamazoo ave Kentwood location this past Sunday 2/4/24 and I was rear ended while inside the car wash. I hate how closely they pack you in with other cars. Yep. Another bad experience today. The gal directing traffic into the wash basically yelled at us while pulling in. The car in front of us was literally two feet away and she gave us a dirty look as screams. COME ON. Rolled her eyes. She didn't bother to spray the front or back of the car and packed us in so tight. We couldn't even finish drying the car at the end as we had to pull out super quickly so the car behind us didn't hit us. The car was still dirty after the wash. Sorry but I'm not spending $15 on another bad wash. All they care about is MONEY AND QUANTITY. Never used to be like this before this wash got bought out. Maybe focus on providing a decent product and not treating your costumers like a number. Last time. read more

Decent Carwash for the area! After living out in Caledonia for many years I decided to try and get this car wash a chance as I didn't want to go to the car wash in Caledonia as it didn't have the greatest reviews and customer experiences. I need up stopping in here and getting the #2 wash as I didn't need to have my vehicle waxed. The car wash did an exceptional job and was reasonably priced. I think they should add a mirror angled at the top of the drive in to help customers line up their tires with the tracks like I've seen at other carwashes. **Overall, it's a nice car wash and I would definitely consider coming back and would recommend it to other friends and family of mine I thought it was unique that they had a special heated spinning dry towel at the end of The drying process. read more

As a monthly member who pays extra for the premium wash I don't feel like getting a clean car is too much to ask for. Or is it? After a few days of rain my car needed a wash. I live in town so it was just dirt from the wet roads. After going through the wash I checked it and my car was still quite filthy on the sides and on the back. I know automatic car washes aren't perfect and a car still needs to be wiped down in spots but this was pretty bad. I took it back around and pointed this out to the attendant who let the "manager" know and said he would walk me through. I spoke to the person spraying the cars down as they go in and he said they were really busy so they had the speed turned up to get more cars through. I asked "so I shouldn't expect a clean car when you're busy then?" He shrugged his shoulders and said sorry there was nothing he could do. I manager never bothered to come out of his office. Not worth what they charge at all. Don't recommend. read more

This place is so busy and slow that with a monthly pass, it's just not worth it. The dryers barely work and the vacuums are weak. You are better off just spitting in your car and going down the freeway to dry it. read more

Mister Car Wash - 30+ cars just waiting to go through the car wash. - Car Wash Near Me - Grand Rapids, Michigan

I had another bad experience with this location. I went there the other day and all 3 lanes were open and there were approximately 10 cars in each line waiting to get into the single line to go through the car wash. Well of course one of the customers in the monthly pass lane had a problem and was holding up the entire line. The employee did not have the customer pull to the side so the other vehicles could get through. They blocked the entire lane with their tablet trying to sign the customer up for the monthly pass. Of the 30 cars in the lines, I would estimate that 10 of them were habitually honking. When the weather is good, the place gets busy and the service is horribly slow. They need to revamp the system to get cars through quicker! read more

If your not an aggressive driver, be ready to wait with all three lanes open at once. I asked for help from a worker about who goes next, she said it doesn't matter. It mattered to me. I don't need to sit for car after car to go in front of me. She was rude and snotty. I'm considering canceling my monthly membership. read more

This was a much better car wash before it was purchased by Mister. Now, it's a complete cluster. The redesign wrecked the place.

I usually go to the Kalamazoo Ave site in Grand Rapids. This site is often busy with vehicles lined up waiting. Staff are usually inattentive and this became a problem recently when a hydraulic hose broke in the wash and my vehicle got sprayed with a lot of oil. It's been 3 days and I have tried to get in touch with the manager with emails and stopping in to find out what they are going to do to get this oil off of my vehicle. I have washed it multiple times and have used Dawn dish soap to try and get the oil off. Have emailed the corporate office and got no response (sent an email 3 days ago) and have called the corporate office and was promised I would get a call. Nothing. Beyond disappointed in their complete lack of follow up and taking responsibility. I wish there were another car wash in the area as I would switch to using them. I'm tired of their poor service and it's been compounded tremendously by this incident. I have gotten a response from Tim at Mister Car Wash offering to get my car detailed and promises thus will get all of the oil off my vehicle. Greatly appreciate the response and will post later on the outcome! read more

Great employees and service. Unfortunately the wash leaves much to be desired. Film streaks everywhere. Whatever they "improved" after buying out Southland needs to be re-thought. No real rinse cycle anymore. Any chrome on the vehicle looks milky. Side and rear windows too. That didn't happen before. read more
