Mister Car Wash was kind to us. I only got the basic because it was a raining day, but I like how my car was looking clean.

Stopped going here years ago due to poor interior cleaning. Recently went back. Whoah! Wow! have they improved their game! Best interior clean I ever had in the drive through wash. I just left this location & paid for the Interior Platinum $38 that includes exterior as well, I thought they did an ok job until I realized they missed a lot of spots and never cleaned around my seats or even bothered to wipe down my leather seats either. I only came bc my mom recommended it, unfortunately I don't think I will be back. Really regret leaving a generous tip before leaving too. It doesn't help that you call, & they never answer. read more

I was back in Rockford to visit my parents and decided to take my car for a wash. Yes, I admit that I only washed my car a few times last year. Horrible. My car was in need of some serious vacuuming, exterior and interior cleaning. I couldn't take my car to just any car wash. My sister recommended Mister to me for the car wash. This place used to be the old Octopus Car Wash. Same process of pulling up then having their associate describing which services they offer. I went for the Full Service #2 option which included your choice of interior scent. If I remember correctly, they've vanilla, new car scent, cherry and leather scents. Once you pick out your service then it goes to the vacuum area. You are directed inside to pay for the wash. The cashier area has snacks, car items and mags to help time pass if you're getting detailed. They also have windows inside the building so you can watch the cars go through the car wash. It's cute they've a small soap suds gun the kids can spray at the car. I don't think I waisted more than 20 minutes for my car. The prices are very reasonable. Their service is top notch. My car looks as shiny as the day I bought it. You definitely get a great bang for your buck here. Now I know where I am taking my car! read more

I went to Mister Car Wash on 3708 E State Street in Rockford,Illinois and ordered the Express Platinum Service for $34.00 + a $10.00 tip. Waste of time and money. Interior floorboard was poorly vacuumed, cup holders and lower door panels, gear shift were not clean. Hood still had bird poop in it and grill was still dirty. Windows looked good. For that kind of money I would expect an exceptional job, very disappointed and will not return. read more

Attention to Detail is such an important quality for a car washing company. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that this company feels the same way. Maybe I should've participated in their Unlimited wash club. That would have ensured that eventually my car would have been cleaned thoroughly. I went to their website before writing this review to make sure that my expectations weren't exceeding what I paid for. ("Full serve washes include interior cleaning; vacuum of passenger compartment; window cleaning; and dusting of the dash".) This is what the website proclaims. It should more accurately read Vacuuming and window cleaning. My interior may have been very lightly "dusted" but it was absolutely not cleaned. I will admit the people who Vacuumed did an excellent job, and the car exterior looks great, but i am very unhappy with the inside. When paying $30 for a "Full Service" wash I didn't expect to have to finish cleaning my car when I go home. I will certainly not return and suggest you research what is available in the area before coming to this location. read more

Awful service. Not worth it at all. $26 for full service which includes an exterior wash and a vacuum and interior cleaning. They vacuumed but did no cleaning. Wiped nothing down. Cleaned nothing out of cup holders and door jams. Literally nothing. The guy who took my card when I came through was so rude and pushy trying to get me to do the unlimited. The Windsor wash in Loves Park is essentially the same price and so much better. Should have never given this chain a chance. Just awful read more

Worst car wash company ever. I paid $30, and when I came home, I noticed that they didn't clean my trunk. So I went back and told them what was going on. They argued with me, but after I while, they gave me a free wash. When I checked my trunk at home, there was still a lot of dog hair in my trunk, and they didn't wipe anything down. read more

Came here today on Labor Day. Our car was a hot mess, but all the extremely professional, thorough staff did an amazing job! They didn't finish our car until every last detail was done! We were so impressed with this car wash! Tip them well! They are working! And working hard!!!! And please pay them well... they deserve it! read more

Signed up for the monthly service, My second trip there was a disaster! I have a dent and a quarter size chunk of paint missing. The manager and I reviewed the video of my truck being washed and conveniently the camera was all blurred on that side of the truck while in the wash and there was no video on that side of the truck while being pulled into the wash. While we were watching the video another customer came in complaining about how is car was pulled in, he had special rims and was pretty upset that the rims could have been damaged. As I was discussing my damages with the manager another customer with a truck complained he had scratches on the same side, same location as the damage on my truck. The manager told him they would buff it out for him, the customer didn't think that would work since he had a pearl finish on his truck, I'm not sure how they resolved his issue. For my truck he basically said I was SOL because he couldn't see how his machinery could have damaged my vehicle. When I complained to their corporate office the rep was very rude and said the manager stated they didn't do it so basically to bad for you. I'd stay away from this place!!!!! read more

Always get a good quality wash on my white car here but no free vacuums like other locations.

We had both of our vehicles cleaned today and they did a horrible job. It wasn't as good our old Octopus. We had it cleaned inside and out, but inside was so dirty and the back trunk seem like they didn't even touch it at all. read more

I have gone to this car wash once this year back in May 2018 and apparently there is a thief working for you that has been charging my card on a regular basis. I have called this location and done charge backs with my bank. BEWARE of this place. read more

I was initially very happy with the service I received from Mister car wash. However when I did have to complain to the manager about things that were never cleaned in my new car, the manager who was very rude with me said we don't detail if your not happy with our service them don't use it. I simply complained because 1 my floor mats were never picked up and vacuumed under and the area between the seats didn't look like it had been touched. I never got rude with him. But definitely decided any more service from them. read more

Paid $65 for interior detailing of a small sports car. Took the 30 minutes. I think they just vacuumed it and wiped off the dash. Very disappointing. Still had dirt and smudges on the windows. Some staff were very nice and others didn't even make eye contact with you. Will not be back and would not recommend. Maybe ok for a drive thru car wash only. I like this car wash, I think it does a great job cleaning and polishing up my car. I enjoy having a monthly membership so that I can just drive straight through to the wash. I purchased a package just for a premium wash, not for cleaning of the interior. If you chose to have them detail the inside of your car with your package, you'll most likely be waiting in a long line that leads out into the street. This place is located on a very small lot so it's ver crowed getting in and out. I personally like detailing my car at home and just going in to "Mister" for a quick wash. It goes by much faster! The only thing I would change about this place is the RINSE. There's ALWAYS ALWAYS some soap left on the car and under the trunk door that we have to clean off as soon as we pull out of the wash. Their rinse cycle is literally like 4 seconds long it's crazy. It bothers me enough to consider canceling my membership and going somewhere else. I don't like going shopping after my car wash, opening my hatch back trunk and find soap dripping everywhere. Other than that, I love the results of the clean. read more

Use to live in Rockford and used this car wash for 9 years. Came in from Wi and had car washed and looked great. Watched guys drying car and keep looking on right rear of car. Went about mile and stopped. Right rear tail light lens was gone. They said tuff. Dryers said they say it coming off but said nothing. Found part laying in highway. They dub not care at all even thought it showed on camera's. If you this place look your car good because they do not care. read more

Horrible experience took my car in during the weekend. Went home and still had to rinse down and vacuum my car. I paid your staff to do this and I still had to waste more time. Might as well have done it myself. I'm sure I would have done a much better job. Took ten minutes to repositioned my seat and mirrors. Never again will I use your services. read more

We've got people here pocketing tips that's for two individuals instead of splitting it evenly between them like supposed to do.

Please help me understand the logic of taking away the hand drying crew at the end of the track. It's not for covid reasons because I see they are available if you purchase a full wash. So instead for exterior washes, you have to pull out and wipe it down yourself. (if you're OCD and don't want water marks) If it's crowded then the exit way often gets blocked or backed up. Bring them back already! Prices go up but you get less for it! read more

I went to get my Escape detailed in December at Mr. Carwash, and they did a nice job. Just went back last week for another detail. NOT good. they missed so much stuff, it was just like a regular carwash. and I don't think they touched the way back at all, and they certainly didn't vacuum it. they always tell me they can't get all the dog hair out of my carpets and I understand that, but please at least try by using a vacuum!!! this cost me $80. unfortunately, I didn't really realize how bad the job was until I got home, so I didn't complain. I shouldn't have to reclean my car when I get home after spending $80 on a detail. the old company, Octopus, was much better than this one. read more

Worst car wash experience that I recall. Car wasn't vacuumed appropriately, underneath my mats were not even touched, dash cam was knocked off my front window and hanging, (they didn't even mention that they knocked it off! ) didn't get fragrance that I paid for. Prices are ridiculous. The employee taking your order was trying to up-sell which is a pet peeve. Wont be back. Avoid! read more
