I've been going here for years even though my town Belvidere has car washes. I had purchased my wife a $250 gift card so when she's in the area she can just zip in and wash her car, But they redid the whole place so it's more automated, well I tried using the card when I was there with her car and the attendant there told me they no longer accept the gift cards and they wouldn't make good on it, so I'm pretty well screwed. It would have been nice if they told us their policy is going to change the last time we used the card so that we could have used it up sooner. Paid $130 to have my Car detailed, they did a mediocre job. Figured maybe it was an off day, because you get a decent value on the regular washes. Paid another $130 to have my wife's car detailed. Again, a mediocre job, with some glaring flaws. There's something sticky on the back bumper now, and the windows weren't done at the top, spots missed on the inside, just lazily done. Wouldn't recommend the place for any serious detail work. Overall, a big step above a car wash at a gas station, but not good enough to warrant spending more than $20 at. read more

I've gone here a couple times over the years, as a matter of convenience - they have good hours, but that's about it. One time, I had $20 stolen out of my vehicle, but I took ownership of that - I shouldn't have left the money in my car. However, one consistent thing I experience is poor service and today was the last straw. I paid for the $35 car wash and my third row wasn't vacuumed, nor was my trunk, when I inquired about this, I was told they couldn't move a seat to get to the third row, despite me demonstrating for them how easily this could be done. There was still stuff on the exterior of my car that even the attendant admitted should have been cleaned off. You can drive down the road to Belvidere for a much more thorough wash for less money. I was pretty disappointed with the service that I received here. I paid $40 for a car wash plus wax special. I was expecting for the inside of my car to be much cleaner for the price I paid. I feel that I could have cleaned my car myself and done a much better job for a quarter of the price. I checked in on yelp to receive five dollars off my wax service, and the cashier and manager had no idea that this promotion even exisited. I've been here countless times as my parents are avid SuperSuds customers - spent hundreds of dollars on interior cleanings, car washes, oil changes and more. I've always been a huge fan of SuperSuds and an advocate for them as well, letting all know how great this place has been throughout the last few decades to both my family and I. But that has all changed as of roughly 3 weekends ago. I called well over a month ago to schedule for an interior cleaning, oil change and a brake light change. I was confirmed for 4/7 and was told to first go to the oil doors and let them know I also have an interior cleaning right after. I did just that and was told I wasn't on the list at all for the interior, though they somehow had me down for the oil change.....? I did not have the name of the employee who originally booked me - my fault. But, they also made me feel as though I was intruding on their plans when I ALSO BOOKED THEM IN ADVANCE FOR THESE SERVICES. I was flexible and said I could come back another time but they took me in anyways to "squeeze me in". Let me tell ya something... Don't ever let them "squeeze you in". All that'll come of it is a poor job and money down the drain. Like the previous reviews, they missed the top of ALL of my windows which are still very gross. They left this greasy film all over my dash board (I've had this issue before but looked past it). They didn't clean out my center console at all - still has dog hair and crumbs everywhere, though I was told to take EVERYTHING OUT prior to showing up. My rear view mirror looks like someone was spraying it and never wiped it off so it had spray markings and droplets all over it now. And they also somehow managed to either lose, or take my bottom cup holders removable piece. This is the one that irked me the most as I leased my car so when I return it, it's going to be my fault for SuperSuds negligence. This hasn't been the first time that I've noticed negligence, laziness and pure incompetency when getting a detailing. My mother has even stopped going due to the lack of effort in JUST A CAR WASH, LET ALONE AN INTERIOR DETAILING. Needless to say, if you want to pay well over $100 for a piss poor effort at interior / exterior cleaning, be my guest. But I will no longer return, nor recommend SuperSuds to anyone I know. My husband was out of town and my back brake light was out. I called a few auto shops but nobody had the light in stock. I figured I would try this place, since it is my go-to for car washes and details. The manager said they didn't have it in stock but if I could find one they would put it in for free. I was able to find one from advanced auto parts and drove up there expected to wait. The manager (maybe owner) remembered me right away, had me pull in and put it in himself. I am incredibly impressed with the service. They also do a great job with car washes. Inside the building you can watch your car go through the wash. My son loves it because they have water guns you can squirt the cars going through. At the end they do a good job drying and wiping everything. Just remember that if you want your trunk vacuumed it is like $3 extra. they also do awesome carpet washing with a machine for really cheap. Update: I wish I could give zero.stars. I dont know what the heck they used to "clesn" the inside of my windows but... It took me cleaning it 5 times, with soap, vinegar and windex to get my windshield to the point that I could actually see through it at might. I had to stop once and buy windex because my visibility was so low at night. Apparently new for the year 2020: they now charge you an additional $4 ( yes with any wash!) To clean the inside of your windows. Ummmm what??? The cheapest wash went from $10 to $12 this past year which was fine, but now an additional $4 to clean the inside of my windows? I was there before 11 am. No mention if any early bird pricing yet early bird pricing between 8 am and 11 am clearly advertised on their marquee. I watched the crew drying cars. They spent barely a couple if minutes drying my car. I was shocked at how fast they were done. That IS NOT a good thing they weren't overly busy but crew clearly just dragged a rag over my car and signaled me that it was ready. They always used to spend a respectable amount if time drying cars, especially since it is winter. Update! Changing to a 1 star. Seriously ridiculous!!! I left home. It's dark outside. I had to turn around and go back home, get my own glass cleaner and towel and clean the inside of my windows. They were soooo streaked they looked dirty! I question if they used as dirty rag. So dirty that it was hard to see at night. You officially just lost my business! I used to be happy with the service. Not so much anymore. HUGE streaks on the inside if my windows, the windows I paid extra to have cleaned. I was running late so I didnt have time to go back and tell them to fix it I was away from the shop before I noticed it. This store is out of my way but I went because they used to be good. For $16 (basic wash plus $4 for inside windows) I'll skip them I will pay the $8 ish when I get gas and get it washed during the winter. I travel a lot so it will get vacuumed when I get my oil change every 6 to 7 weeks. Honestly this price increase and decline in service is enough for me to not return. Do NOT waste your money! Lazy, negligent, overpriced and just a headache! Just wash it yourself honestly. I've had my car washed there twice now. The first time I went, it was a poor job. It was near closing so the guys may have been drained and just didn't care about their job at that point. Being a believer of second chances, and the fact that it's so close to my house, I decided to go again. I payed $20!! For a interior/exterior clean with an ADDITIONAL $3 for my wheels to be cleaned well- total $23. I even tipped $2 when my car was ready. (There's a reason the tip jar is located away from your vehicle). I did not mind paying $23 if it meant my car would be spotless, but what I got as a whole other story. They basically did just the bare minimum on the outside/inside. The windows and mirrors werent even dried and the interior was not even touched or wiped down. I walked back into the same car as I had left it, minus a few leaves on the ground. And the wheels were still as dirty as I had left them. And on top of all that, it's not even a hand wash! Buyer beware!!! I had a negative experience here and would not go back. I had my car detailed and had to have them redo it because it wasn't clean. When we picked it up the second time there was a stain on the back seat that wasn't there before, not only that but the manager said he personally tried to get it out and it wouldn't come out. We brought the car home and applied a house hold cleaner to it and had the stain out in 2 minutes. They didn't clean the hard surface, just sprayed something on them and wiped them down at best. They do a good job, although I always pull over and dry the trunk area because they dont open it and basically miss drying the top of the rear bumper and it drips down. They also have a good deal of $55 a month for unlimited washes which I have just started and we'll see how it goes over the winter. Certainly sounds like a good deal. I go here all the time for car washes but today I brought in my wife's new/used car. 2015 Ford Explorer. We bought it about 3 weeks ago and were planning on a lot of driving for Xmas so I brought in for an oil changed since I did not know the last time it was changed or how long the car was on the car lot before purchase. I pulled in for an oil change and they promptly called me over. I was thinking something was wrong but they informed me that the oil was still like new and suggested holding off for 2 months. I bought some wiper blades instead and they still gave me a free car wash. They easily could have charged for oil change but saved me about 70 bucks (full synthetic) very much appreciated and will be back. read more

Love this place you can't beat an oil change and car wash for $45. They will vacuum your car and wash it after the oil change. They have never tried to bamboozle me into replacing filters, wipers etc. Unless it's actually needed. They will give you the option but you never feel tricked into adding extras on. My boyfriend that lives in Chicago will wait until heard up here to get an oil change because he's always been super pleased with the service as well. A friend recommended SuperSuds for detailing and I was a little skeptical based on the other reviews. I followed her recommendation anyway and took my car for the full interior detail. My cloth seats, mats and carpeting look brand new. They removed a ton of dog hair and dropped food. My dash and cup holders were spotless. They did miss opening the cup holder in the back seat and cleaning the rear view mirror, but other than those two spots my car looked brand new. I would definitely take my car again, especially for $40 shampooing for all seats. read more

I went here twice. Once should have been enough, but I stupidly gave them a second chance. They rush cars through and don't actually take the time to clean them. The first time my car came out dirty on both the inside and outside. TI don't think the vaccines at all. The second time wasn't much different. One of my friends had dropped a goldfish cracker in my backseat and I saw it before I went, but was in a hurry and left it. After my car wash it was still there and very obvious. The only way they could have missed it is if they didn't vacuum, and they didn't vacuum. My car also came out with the front bumper and grill covered in dead bugs and dirt from a recent road trip. My wife and I stopped here last week for a wash and cleaning of my car. Sure the line was long, but you have to expect that after a lull in the weather. When we got in the car we noticed that they missed 3/4's of the back window (could see the salt and dirt), the inside was just spot wiped with all the smaller area such as the stereo and cup holders being just as dusty as before. The back end of the car was not washed but just wiped, found when we returned home. Just a bad job on the car, overall. I actually got a better wash from the Shell gas station drive up. They tend to leave palm prints and tape residue on the inside of the windshield and use dirty towels on the windows. This has happened to me to many times. You will have to reclean the windshield inside and out when you get home. read more

To all first time customers, beware of this place especially for female customers. If you're going to get oil change, most likely you'll be scammed by those professional cons trying to sell you air filter in your car by showing some dirty filter from another car, and if you refuse to to buy a new one from them, chances are they will sabotage your car by loosening up your air tube, or other air hoses inside your engine and then your car will get stalled at the stop sign and red light stop. Went there to get my oil changed and got the car wash, which came with it, on November 17 2018. When the car came out of the wash and was ready for me to pick up. I didn't realize the significance, but the car was not running when I got in, so I had to start it myself. In the wintertime, I keep my spare key fob in my coat, and the other in my pants pocket; I gave the fob to the person changing the oil which was from my coat, he must have passed it to the person at the car wash because they were able to drive it around and have it enter the wash while it was running. At the end of the wash, they have a crew who does touch ups and dries off the car, so my guess is that one of them put it in their pocket as they were driving it the last 20 feet outside the wash area, since it was a cold day. The problem is, they kept my fob. Aside from this, my passenger side wheels were filled to 39 and 37 PSI which is WAY TOO HIGH. I called to ask if anyone had turned in a key fob to a Chrysler, and the lady on the phone said no. I said it must be there and it wasn't left in my car because the doors do not lock if there is a fob inside. She passed me to someone else, who simply repeated "our employees don't put keys into their pockets," and dismissed the idea that an employee may have put it into their pocket while quickly moving the car. We went back and forth a few times like this, without any offer to ask the employees who were working that day, or do anything about it except tell me that the employees don't put keys into their pocket. I have been going to SuperSuds regularly for the past 2 years, but never will go again because of their inept customer service. They regularly overfill my tires but I just let some air out and go on my way, but now I am out $350 for a new fob and the manager didn't so much as offer to even ask the employees if any of them came across a Chrysler key fob after working Saturday. My mom was driving my car, right after she picked it up from service at another mechanic's. As she was driving down Perryville, it started smoking from the engine bay. Mom was very scared and pulled over. Brian, the manager at the shop/car wash adjacent, noticed what was going on, and ran out into the street to help. He told my mom not to worry, and opened the engine bay to see what was going on. He immediately noticed that a coolant hose was detached, and that all the coolant had poured out as a result. Brian had some coolant brought from the shop, to make sure the car could be safely driven to his shop, and afterward reattached the hoses and clamps. Realistically, they hose it down with soapy water and put it back in your car. A few days later you find your newly cleaned mats are crusty and ugly with soap residue.
