First time here, but certainly won't be my last! I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha. Admittedly, it is on the sweeter side, but it is fantastic. Also at a great price point given the area it is in. Great atmosphere, easy to sit and relax, or talk with a friend. Definitely will need to try the food the next time I visit back. This is a great spot to get coffee or baked goods to go! You never have to wait very long and the coffee is great - very strong. They don't have a lot of indoor seating so it's not a place I'd recommend for remote work or meeting people, but definitely a place for a to-go cup! read more

I order sandwiches for pickup from their website frequently. Everything is made fresh to order with excellent/simple to choose customization options on their website, so it does take them 10-15 mins to prepare. If you walk in and wait around that can be annoying but if you order ahead and give them a few extra minutes you're going to have a 5 star quality lunch at an unbeatable price. Try the BLT and add pickles, onions, hot relish, ketchup, and mayo. Its divine. Favorite business in Ctown hands down. love this business hope they are here for the long term read more

This bustling cafe is great for a quick bite or coffee. There are very few seats in the cafe so not the best place if you're looking to stay a while or get some work done. The service was quick. It is quite loud in the cafe as the kitchen is open. Parking is street parking and quite tough to get. read more

Food: I LOVE La Colombe, but this did not taste like the regular draft lattes I was used to getting from the actual store. Service: The cashier did not know what was going on. I had a few questions about the menu and she did not know what to say, so she made her coworker answer my questions. Was looking for an early dinner and stumbled across this gem near Bunker Hill. I saw that their special for the day was Cinnamon Roll French Toast so I had to ask about it. They take a 4-5 inch cinnamon roll, slice it in half and put egg batter on it and fry it on the griddle...sounds heavenly right??? It was sooo good! I would give them 6 stars if I could. This little gem was a surprise. It is a real hole-in-the-coffee place. First of all, they make an excellent coffee. Wait, it gets better! Instead of a paper cup, you can have it in a porcelain French cup with thick walls to keep the coffee hot, on a saucer. I ordered a macchiato, being a sucker for 'crema'. The staff is very friendly. I was just visiting Charlestown. Otherwise, I would become a regular. I can go on about the ambience. But the picture worth 1000 words. read more

Visiting from Austin and this place is really great. We ordered the Marblehead Stacker on English muffins - I have never seen such a large English muffin. So delicious and packed with bacon. Also ordered a white mocha and a mocha and both were piping hot, just what we needed to start out a long day of sight seeing. One last item, a yogurt with fruit - also good with a lot of blueberries, strawberries and sliced bananas. Creamy, dreamy and just really tasty. I would eat here every day if I lived in Charlestown! The folks running the show were very nice and you could tell they loved their place and that they take great care with everything! read more

Good pancakes, meh iced coffee, good bacon. I really enjoyed Mister Q Cafe. It's a small place so there isn't much seating, but there is indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting). I got peanut butter and banana pancakes (3 pancakes for $5.25). They came out perfectly and were both filling and delicious. The food in general that I saw others eating all looked amazing. My mother's toast came out a little too dark/burnt for her taste, and they got her new, not-so-done toast very quickly. A+ service. The bacon was delicious and cooked perfectly. I see a lot of other people raving about their coffee, but I am guessing that applies more to the hot coffee. The black iced coffee with lite ice ($3.25) I got tasted more like hot coffee that was already made got poured over ice, make a very watery tasting coffee. Even so, I would definitely come back to Mister Q Cafe. I'd recommend Mister Q to anybody looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot. read more

I typically stop at Mister Q while walking to work. THe staff is friend, the coffee is strong and delicious. They make fresh breakfast sandwiches, even toasting the crossiant and using a freshly cracked egg. There cookies are too die for. Today was opening day of Mister Q! Charlestown is desperate for take out. Like, it's a serious problem. While there's an abundance of coffee shops around, we really, really need a good sandwich place. Anna's has food, but it's up and over the hill and my legs are tired of going up and over that hill and Style Cafe is at least a 30 minute walk to and from. I came in today for opening day (I had been peeking in for months with anticipation) and well, it was nice. Sorta forgettable, but perfectly pleasant with a nice menu. Breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, sandwiches, paninis, burgers and coffee. Desserts looked lovely. I ordered an Italian panini to-go. Sandwich came out quickly and with Cape Cod Chips and I happily walked home to try it. It was solid. Nothing earth shattering, but solid. Overall assessment- if I were downtown, I'd be like, that's nice but whatevs, but because it's in Charlestown, this cafe is a star. read more

Guys...I kid you not. I had the Marblehead Stacker and it was 100% certified BUSSIN. Seriously, I will be thinking about this sandwich and will be back for more. I know what you're thinking: "it's literally a bacon egg and cheese sandwich what is so special?" Well let me say, no bite was wasted. Mister Q's Cade is such a wonderful spot in Charlestown! Their paninis are delicious and it was a generous portion. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because their coffee is a little watery in my opinion. I recently had their pumpkin spice latte and I thought it was pretty good but I wanted the drink to be creamier and the flavor a little stronger. Mister Q's is my favorite quick lunch spot in Charlestown. I've tried almost all of their lunch wraps and my favorite is the grilled chicken! So delicious. The salads also come with a warm pita on the side which is soooo good! Lastly, the prices are incredible for Boston! read more

We stopped by before heading to exploring Bunker Hill and definitely made the right choice. Excellent sandwiches. I did the townie stacker on a bagel. My girlfriend got the McGrill on a croissant. Today we went to mister Q Café, and absolutely loved it! I got the grilled chicken Panini ( that included pesto avocado and red pepper) it was absolutely delicious! The servings were large enough we took both our paths to go. The staff there were incredibly friendly and helpful! The pastries looked absolutely delectable with an extensive coffee menu. My boyfriend got the veggie egg and cheese breakfast wrap with bacon added. He seemed very happy with it which is a first because he's a miserable bitch. We will definitely be going back! Monument, I love you, but sometimes you just don't want to pay $15 for a burger. Mister Q, you are exactly what Main St Charlestown was missing! Great menu, fast, friendly service and good food with reasonable prices. We got a cheeseburger, tuna melt, bowl of soup, iced chai latte and cappuccino to go all under $30. Becoming my favorite little spot in Charlestown. Got the bacon egg and cheese McGrill and it was great. Bacon was crispy, english muffin was fresh. The service is very accomodating. What a great addition to the neighborhood! Pros: Lovely environment, very friendly staff, solid coffee, fair prices, and decent food. Cons: Not a lot of seating so it can get a little crowded, decent food. I list "decent food" as a pro and a con because it is. I went on two separate occasions (breakfast and lunch) and had a McGrill with bacon, chicken salad wrap on wheat, and minestrone soup. All items were good, but just not great. I did see someone with a panini that looked phenomenal and the pastries and cakes always look beautiful as well. So still more to try!! Either way, I think this is a great new spot in Charlestown and I hope they continue to stay busy! read more

It was adequately busy but still had seats open. The lunch menu is very affordable! If you can, I'd highly recommend going for lunch instead of dinner. Service was really quick! Received my meal in like 5-7 mins after ordering. Fish was super fresh and I really liked the different textures in the Hoseki Don. I also added in negitoro. They gave me a big clump of it! The second time I went back, I ordered take out so I could eat it at the airport for dinner. I ordered the Sake Maguro Hamachi don, added ikura and negitoro. Again, so impressed with the quality of the fish and the size of it. They didn't skimp out and really enjoyed the thickness of the sashimi despite it only being 3 pieces. It was a very satiating bowl. Cant wait to come back next time again!

(p.s. i've been here soooo many times times so i'd also say quality has always been consistent)

They have wonderful looking pastries in their windows and they surely attracted me! They have various pastries that I didn't see in other bakeries in our LA's Chinatown or the San Francisco one. So that's a plus. Nice pork buns, egg tarts, moon cakes. Decent prices, nice service. It wasn't crowded when we shopped here, but there were other friendly foodies also amazed by their wonderful selection! If you're in the area, this is a great bakery to check out!

They mention sugar levels on their menu so I asked for 75% but they only add condensed milk to the Thai tea, no sugar. So the only way to reduce it would be with less condensed milk. It still was quite sweet, and in fact had an artificial taste? I can't pinpoint why but it wouldn't rank in my top favorites. Disappointing. I'd be open to trying another tea next time if I'm in the area but given that there are SO many bubble tea shops here that it's unlikely I'll be back.

Although their names seem to have nothing to do with each other, they share paper bags and some products. Are they sister shops run by the same team? Egg Tart蛋撻: Since there was no insulated box, it was cold, which is a shame compared to Corner Cafe. The egg and milk aromas were masked, but there was a slight eggy smell. Portuguese Egg Tart葡撻: Although it was also cold, I preferred the baking. It had a thin crust, and the filling was still smooth and delicate, with a richer egg, milk, and sweet flavor. Butter Bun奶香包: The best product, but I forgot to take a picture... I unexpectedly encountered "Little Swell bread微波麵包," something that has disappeared in China for a long time. It was exactly the soft and moist texture I remembered, and the milk, butter, and salt flavors were even stronger.
