Croissant Breakfast Sandwich Egg, Vermont cheddar, sliced tomato, avocado, and baby arugula on housemade croissant.

I recently visited Tatte Bakery & Cafe and overall had a good experience. The space is beautiful, bright, and very inviting. We ordered lattes and a few pastries and everything tasted great. The croissants were flaky and fresh and the latte was excellent. The food quality was exactly what you would expect from Tatte. The only issue was the cashier. She seemed more interested in her conversation with a coworker than helping us. She handed us some of our pastries but forgot the cookies we ordered and did not give us a bag for the desserts. After we waited for a few minutes she looked at us and asked what we were waiting for without saying thank you or acknowledging that the transaction was complete. When we told her we were still waiting for the rest of the pastries we ordered it felt a little awkward. Aside from that, the employees bringing food to the table were very kind, attentive, and pleasant. Overall the food and coffee were excellent. I would come back for the pastries and lattes, but hopefully the front counter service improves.

Big open space, one of the bigger Tatte cafes. Had breakfast and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was more on the dark chocolate side. The breakfast sandwich was good, but was sad that they don't allow you to add on any sides. Order lines are relatively quick, but this place does get crowded on weekends.

First coffee spot of 2025! They were open on New Years Day normal hours and we were excited to start 2025 off right with a hot cup of joe and delicious pastries! This was within walking distance of our hotel but we drove over since we were on the way out of town and found free parking in the garage across the street. It was pretty crowded around 1pm when we arrived- must have been the lunch rush- but we didn't wait too long and almost placed an order online for in store pickup but ended up ordering at the counter. We ordered a latte, americano, danish, chocolate chip cookie, and coffee caramel mousse. We were given a number and found a seat at the end of a long communal table. The space is light and bright, open concept, plenty of small two tops and window seating as well. Our drinks took a little longer than expected to come out but they were worth the wait. The caramel mousse was delicious- smooth, creamy, and sweet, and the cookie tasted good too. I'm not a fan of danishes but it was alright! This was an enjoyable place to have our first coffee of the year. Good coffee, good food, standard pricing. I would definitely return to try more food and/or brunch!

First off I want to give the biggest shout out to Miriam! She is an exemplary employee that demonstrated courtesy, friendliness, and a positive attitude. If I was her boss, I'd definitely give her a raise. I typically get the roasted or smoked salmon sandwich as they are always on point! The ambiance is also pretty chill. It's not super loud or chaotic. It's just right.

Tatte at Assembly is a great go-to for coffee and light bites. Heads up--the lunch line gets long and food can take around 15 minutes during peak hours, so plan ahead! In the summer, their outdoor seating is super charming, and this year's seasonal drinks are very refreshing. Their sweets always hit the spot.

I dined in for breakfast here for the first time and I had a smooth and delicious experience. The person taking our order was very nice and great at recommending dishes to try. The bussers did a great job bringing everything out in time and keeping the everything organized. I heard great things about the traditional shakshuka so I had to get it. It is an affordable, healthy, and delicious breakfast dish. It keeps you full and I really enjoyed the bread it comes with. I looked up the nutrition facts and the dish has around 50 grams of protein! Definitely helped my protein goals that day. Everything else looked amazing but they weren't mine to taste haha Overall, I had a great breakfast here and I the vibes were great. There just isn't a lot of big tables inside for parties of 4, they're all outside.

Possibly my favorite spot of our trip! Tatte is located within walking distance of where we stayed while visiting and it did not disappoint. I tried a couple of their lattes and they are great quality and great flavors (I especially liked the pistachio latte). Their pastries are fresh and delicious, their desserts are beautiful, and I could not have enjoyed the breakfast sandwich more. Very friendly staff and a good amount of seating in this well lit relaxing space. Highly enjoyed this place and what it has to offer.

I've heard of Tatte and how amazing it was supposed to be. Wow was I underwhelmed. Walked in and it was decently busy, nothing crazy. Had no line and tables open. It was nice seeing the bakery items sit out to look. Really wished it had ingredients on the foods. Ordered Ham & Cheese croissant only to see on the screen it had mustard. Gross! Should have ingredients labeled. I switched it to a pizza slice and the girl looked like I ran over her foot. Rolled her eyes and gave attitude. Paid and she walked away leaving us standing there awkwardly. Didn't give us a number or anything. We waited about 10 min just standing there, no one coming over to check on us (everything was sitting on the case shelf). Service was horrible and ruined the whole experience. I will say, the pizza was delicious and my friend liked her pastry, just not the service.

This was my first time visiting a Tatte bakery. it was packed, but I didn't mind the line went pretty quickly. I ordered the salmon sandwich, but they were all out so instead I got a B.L.A.T, sparkling Matcha, lemonade, and a passionfruit dessert. The cashier gives you a number stand, and you put it on your table and they bring your order when ready. Drinks you have to pick up at the coffee bar. They forgot my ticket so I was waiting extra long My sandwich was so delicious. The bacon was cooked perfectly, and the bread was unlike any other I have ever tasted. I didn't eat my passionfruit dessert yet I'm gonna be eating it tonight and can't wait! Definitely will visit a Tatte again.

I've been to a bunch of Tatte locations throughout the area and this one has to be one of my favorites. Most recently, I visited Tatte on a Saturday afternoon in the winter and the place was so busy that I had to camp out to find a table! There is plenty of seating, though, so it's generally not as hard to find a spot. In terms of the food, since it was a cold day out, I went for the Chicken Soup, which was hearty and soothing. My friends enjoyed their pastries as well. I usually like to order the Jerusalem Bagel, but sadly they didn't have it in stock this time. I'm sure I'll be back soon!

Amazing food, really enjoyed the Strawberry Roasted Peach Chicken Salad. Light and refreshing from the fruit and the perfect summer salad. The housemade roll that it came with was sooo fluffy and has the perfect amount of salt to touch. The Short Rib Grilled Cheese was great as well, really generous with the short rib.

Latte with a biscotti for dipping. So delicious!

This place can seem overwhelming at first because you have to wait in like to order. The backup happens when people try to grab seats first. The turn around should be faster. Anyways the service was efficient. The baked goods were absolutely delicious. Like I had a surprised look because it was that good. The coffee was also fantastic. I would definitely come again. Just beware seating is limited. This is not the place to bring a large party to sit down and eat. Only 4 stars because the seating situation is a little messy so it takes away from the experience.

I've visited this location a few times and the food is always fresh and great quality. I recommend one of their shashoukas and frequently enjoy their seasonal items. The service is fast, coffee is good, and the place is always clean. The only draw back is it can be hard to find seating as it tends to get busy. Overall, a great place to enjoy a quick breakfast or lunch.

Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful and even with a line out the door, they were able to keep things moving smoothly. They also gave us small chai samples while we waited to be helped (the chai was spicy and not overly sweet). The baklava and kataifi were perfect -- no notes. Baklava had a great ratio of flaky pastry layers to walnuts. Each bite had the right about of crunch and nuttiness. The amount of syrup used was just right also. Kataifi struck a similarly great balance: a crunchy and sweet shredded wheat exterior rounded out by the richness of pistachios. I wish I could come here all the time and try everything. Definitely keeping this place bookmarked for any future trips to Boston.

Nowhere to sit, so another challenge. Good selection of croissants and croissant-adjacent items like caneles and pain swisse. Friendly staff; no pretension. My first visit in well over a year on a late weekday morning tried a troika of chocolate-themed items. -- Chocolate Croissant: Not warm (and I wouldn't expect that past 9am), but very fresh feel, very slight greasiness on the bottom, plenty of flakiness on top, and decent fluffiness inside. A good bite, yielding plenty of croissant shrapnel, a light but pleasant buttery taste, and just the right amount of chocolate. A winner. -- Pain Swisse: This varied from others I've had, not having the typical stringiness around the perimeter that feels like raw pasta to the bite, but that was a plus. The bigger noticeable divergence was a much-lighter-than-typical custard presence inside, deferring to the dominant, high quality dark chocolate. The dough around it had good flavor and a nice light crunch, so whether central casting Pain Swisse or not, this satisfied. -- Chocolate Chip Cookie: An unusual rendition, with a dough darker than typical and also boasting some red tint hinting at red velvet. Soft, deliciously rich, and buttery, with the chocolate having a nice melt to it even late in the morning. Salt added some contrast without going overboard as some do. -- Coffee: High in temperature, acidity, viscosity, and flavor. A good match for their baked goods. Overall, still living up to the promise of the first visit, and taking some license with the classic recipes is fine by me with their high level of execution.
