I ran across the new Mister Sister while visiting Wickenden St. I live in Boston and am more familiar with the shops up here, as well as Babeland in New York and Seattle. I have to say that Mister Sister compares favorably with them in terms of focus and looks to be off to a great start. The selection is not yet as comprehensive as a Babeland, but it still covers a wide range: vibrators, fetish wear, light bondage, massage oils, books, etc. It's less of a cheesy "bachelorette party" scene, more of a place where you could actually get some useful gear for yourself and your partner(s). Note also that Mister Sister has a significant queer focus, with the aforementioned fetish wear, gay/lesbian erotica, pride accessories, and so forth. We met the proprietor, who was very helpful and friendly. She was glad to recommend some outfits, but was completely honest when something didn't fit flatteringly. She owns two shops in P-Town (which she said she is in the process of selling), so clearly she's knows what she's doing. The only downside right now is the lack of selection. There were some cool leather outfits, but a dearth of sizes. A good basic selection of vibes, maybe two dozen, but nowhere near the overwhelming variety offered at Babeland or Good Vibes.
