Fries were ok I guess, hard to mess up fries. The cheese on this "sandwich" was not a positive addition. Need GF options on the menu.

Apparently this place was THE place in generations past. I met up with an older acquaintance of mine who had been talking this place up and wanted me to try it out. I can tell the establishment's heyday has come and gone. There's nothing special here. The interior is pretty run down, and it seems they keep it dark to try to disguise that fact. If they have the opportunity to invest in some renovations and better lighting, the payoff would be well worth it. Ordered a prime rib sandwich with no bun, because they don't have much of anything to accommodate gluten free dietary needs. The cheese on the prime rib did it no favors, it was kind of congealed and just not a great flavor, didn't complement the meat at all, it would have been much better without. Service was fine, nothing amazing. I might give this place another chance sometime in the future, but I'm not in any rush when there are much better options in town.

Complete disappointment. Ordered the 20oz "Chef Special" ribeye and ended up with a grisly fat hunk of steak that was not edible. Showed it to the waitress who apologized but did nothing. I asked her to take it away as I couldn't eat a single bite without being disgusted by how awful it was. Asked her to show it to the manager and she came back saying the chef looked at it and said "that's normal for a ribeye". The once great Mistys has lost the right to call themselves a steakhouse after having the balls to serve this poor of quality cut of meat.

    Worst shrimp cargot ever

Wow.... Most disappointing meal I have had in a long time. Restaurant was nearly empty but it took 25 minutes to get the appetizer. It was supposed to be shrimp cargot but it was brought out not hot with visible cheese slices on the top (did not even eat it after first bite). The prime rib was flavorless with no au jus or horseradish. The mushrooms were soggy and terrible. The baked potato (loaded) was dry and inedible. Chicken piccata was just awful and tasted of bottled lemon juice and mediocre quality chicken. What a sad state of affairs at this place. They are celebrating 60 years. I have no idea how they made it this long.

I eat here every time I'm in Lincoln. The calamari, crab cakes and lobster bisque is the best I've ever had.

Right away we were greeted, my coat was taken and we were seated. We came pretty early in the evening and there weren't many people in the restaurant. I was disappointed to have been seated at a 4 person table in the middle of the room while there were plenty of smaller, two person tables more tucked away which would've offered a more intimate experience in my opinion. We started with the Burrata and M.D. Polenta. The burrata was as you'd expect but the Polenta was my favorite dish we ordered. It had so much flavor and basically melted in your mouth. It was even better to add it on top of the focaccia and burrata! For our main courses I ordered the Tajarin Dalla Forma. It was a fun experience to have them come to the table and spin the pasta in the cheese wheel but I wouldn't say the pasta was anything exceptional. Honestly, it tasted just like Annie's boxed white cheddar Mac and cheese. My boyfriend got the NY Strip (it was $83) and he said it was the chewiest steak he had ever had. It was cooked medium rare as he had requested but there was literally no explanation for how chewy it was. He makes better steaks at home on the stove top. The lobster tail I will say was the best lobster tail I've ever had. Overall, the service was great but the food wasn't worth the price you pay. If you're looking for a good steak, this isn't the place to go. I also disagree with friends and family, this isn't the best restaurant in town. Highly recommend DISH if you're wanting a high end dinning experience

My relative called earlier in the day and asked about getting a table, they took our name and how many and said we will see you then, it still may be a short wait but not bad. We all arrived and our table was ready almost no wait. Our waitress came by with her trainee and started getting drink requests. Then moved on to a starter and main course. She was perfect, did not miss a thing. Never an empty glass Ours food came out. I had the small prime rib rare mashed potatoes and corn. It was outstanding. Hot, fresh. Tasted delicious (sorry no pics) My hat is off to the staff there. From beginning to end they nailed it. This folks is why they are ALWAYS busy. 2 visits by us and 2, 5 star reviews.

We ordered dragonfruit sparkler. - delicious and refreshing (sweet) And i ordered salmon with vegetables and a sweet potato plain Salmon was just done right. Not overly dry- just cooked till done. The vegetables were broccoli and carrots. These were delicious. Usually in chain reataurants, these would already be much. Mine pretty much tested fresh- just out of water with the right texture- like home made! Despite being busy, our server cane by seveal times to check on us. At some point, a gentleman popped by to say how pleased that we were there and thanked us - possibly a manager We soaked up the music and the upbeat vibes. It was a good night! I finally understand why this outlet is always busy every time we pas it by. We will be back!
