This wasn't quite what I was expecting upon arrival honestly. The building is quite worn along with the outside seating. They offered a very limited menu that day. I was surprised they didn't offer a few beers on tap, but they offered a large variety of cans/bottles of beers. I went with the cheeseburger and tots, and my son went with the chicken tender basket with tots. My burger consisted of a large patty and decent amount of toppings. Everything tasted great and arrived fairly quickly. Our server was nice but kind of sporadic on checking on us. My husband ended up going inside to order another beer for example.

My wife found this on our way back from our son's baseball game last night. It was tucked off the main road so it was kind of hard to fine based on Maps. I love hole in the wall restaurants, so I was eager to try it. We were greeted us as we walked up and decided to sit outside to look at the water. They do not offer anything on tap, but they have a large selection of beers in their coolers. They offered a limited menu, but they offered a variety in my opinion. My burger was delicious, and I enjoyed the seasoned fries as well.

Stopped by while riding my motorcycle around. Definitely low-key. Not fancy but a goodish selection of bottled beers and the cheeseburger and tots were tasty. There was a decent amount of customers there today. Not crowded at all, though I can imagine the patio getting packed when a band is playing. I'm torn between wishing they'd clean up the place a bit and just enjoying the laid back attitude. I think laid back is probably just fine for a beer and burgers stop with the guys. They gave me a ration of good natured shit for wearing my OU hat in there. But we all agreed it was a good thing we could all hate the uT Longhorns together. I'll be back.

Absolutely Glorious on the River small town Biker/Dive Bar Alert!!!! This place has been one of my fav spring, summer an fall pit stops when you want to enjoy a beautiful day on the platte river. The beers always cold the bloody Mary's are home made an absolutely delicious. Now let's talk about their food; it's better then some places in the city for half the price. I'd highly recommend the smoked wings; their freaking amazing an the smoke is perfect. I'm also seeing it get a ton of love thrown into it so don't know if there are new owners or not but the place is getting a nice face lift that was definitely needed.

Definitely a great place to have a delicious burger and a beer with a view of the river . Menu has really improved!! Will be back :)

Favorite burger in the area for sure. Menu seems like it has expanded. Really offers so great food, I have enjoyed everything I have tried. Great view too!!

I really like it here, probably just because it's on the river. It's definitely a dive and cleanliness is not a strong suit here but the food was good, the waitress was hilarious and the views were amazing. We watched a couple of eagles fishing on the river and enjoyed a couple of drinks. It was a nice and very laid back evening.

Nice place along the river by busy highway 50. Good food with high prices but worth it to sit outside and eat. Bring your own fly swatter!

We both tried the steak tacos from the appetizer list. Our favorite white wine was available. We received warm bread (which doesn't happen when you order an appetizer for your meal). Perfect warm bread. As a meat snob, the steak in the tacos was perfectly seasoned. The sauce was just right, and the side of peppers went well. The service and ambiance were amazing. They topped it off with two warm cookies. I feel like they thought I was a food critic. Normally, I don't write reviews. We will be back.

This is my second time coming to get the sirloin steak special on Wednesday. I think they have redone the place. It looked like they had New chair, chairs and table tables and I think the carpet was even new. They had a black theme going on which I thought made it feel like a little bit more of an upscale steakhouse, but still with the country charm. Our server with so sweet and took care of us very well. She came back to check on us often and was very helpful explaining things on the menu. We all ended up ordering the sirloin steak. You can choose the side of your choice . Our sides varied a little bit because my one friend can't have gluten, so she ended up ordering the baked potato. they were very accommodating and understood about needing to be careful with even the steak as they cooked it, to keep everything gluten-free. My other friend and I got the potato casserole. It was pretty good, but I wished I would've gotten the potato because I love a good baked potato with my steak. The sirloin steak was a great size and mine was done to perfection. It was a little tough in spots, but that is to be expected with sirloin. The flavor was fabulous, though. We had a nice corner table with a view out the window. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and it wasn't too loud. They have a huge dining area so we didn't have to worry about if we were going to get a table or not. I want to come back and try some of their other specials. Check out their website, it tells about each special that they have Monday through Friday and Saturday night they have prime rib! Round the Bend Steakhouse is definitely worth the drive, especially if you want to get out of the city and enjoy a nice little drive in the country. Mahoney State Park is close. Also, the Air Museum is by Mahoney. And Ashland has so many cool shops and a winery and a brewery.

I ordered the Lunch Steak (GF) for $28: an eight-ounce flat iron steak finished with balsamic bone marrow butter and served with broccolini. Our waiter, Zane, was amazing. He was super kind and helped guide us in the right direction when deciding what to eat and drink. He even offered a new mocktail he was working on that tasted just like a watermelon jolly rancher (no name yet), yum! The menu had lots of gluten free options to choose from, which I really appreciated. The shakshuka was excellent and a super yummy, fun experience. It tasted almost like a creamy eggy, bean dip. The Sandhills chokecherry mocktail was fruity, and sweet which paired beautifully with the dish. I definitely want to come back again to try more of the menu. My overall experience here definitely was one of the better brunch experiences I've had in a long time!

I will start off by saying that the staff here were all excellent, everyone was warm and friendly. The atmosphere was fine, it is in a new build in the middle of a suburban area, so it was about what i expected, it was nice and laid back. My wife ordered two of their specialty cocktails and they were both very good, I liked the queen bee the best. The food was very good as well, we started with a beef wonton appetizer, it was really good, it had nice pieces of rare beef with onions, slaw, and sauce on some very crispy wontons. We ordered the marsala glazed chicken and the meatloaf for our main courses, and both did not disappoint. The marsala chicken was tender and flavored well, and came on a bed of risotto and Brussels sprouts, the sprouts were excellent and all three ingredients worked very well together. The meatloaf was also excellent, it came topped with a tomato based gravy on top that had a great homemade taste, and the mashed potatoes were amazing, some of the best I've had in a while.
