We visited 3 days ago and we had a wonderful time. If you enjoy funk, old school music and some top 40's variety than this is the place to lounge around. Dress nice and expect an older crowd generation who just simply enjoys a good night of dance and music. What enjoy about Misty's is it's ambience. Classy, Sassy and super fun crowd. My family and friends went to Misty's on a Friday night. We were really looking forward to having a great time. Well, when we got there we all sat on a table and saved a couple of seats for some friends who were having dinner at the steak house in the hotel. This older waitress with a long pony tail was soooo rude to us and had some cougars sit at the seats we were holding because she was desperate for tips I guess!! Actually, they were all rude and you had to wait forever for your drinks. It seems as if everyone there avoided their waitress and went directly to the bar because the lines were long! This place is good if you're in your 50's and weigh more than 200 lbs.! The women dress as if they just walked in from Hollywood Blvd.!!!! Plus it's filled with married men! Only club I really like especially on Sunday... The servers are sweet but My favorite server Stephen is awesome!!! Could use less redundant music sometimes but either way this club was worth stabbing foxfire in the back for....I still like Fox but Misty's is more my type of environment. read more

This seems to be the place to hang out for conference attendees. Misty's gets three stars from me for being the only "nightlife" in the area. They have a decent dance floor, a patio, and tons of space for big groups. We came here for organized socials as well as regular bar drinks. They had karaoke one night. There is definitely a lounge feel to it with the dark walls and club chairs. The drinks were overpriced, but given the options in the area I'd still recommend it. read more

I was only here for a dance event (4th Annual Harlem Nights Chicago Steppin') but i was really pleased with the Vegetarian pizza...tasty cheese, fresh tomatoes and generous spinach and basil- very good. Service was very good (and we were a large crowd). Dance floor is a little small for an event, but i imagine it'd be fun at a quieter time. read more

One thing all the other reviewers forgot to mention is that the women (most of them anyway) are fat and ugly not to mention old. I do not know what ranch they herded these heifers off of but some dairy farmer is going to be pissed in the morning when he sees his cows are missing. I do not know why the Inland Empire can not do better than Misty's lounge! Is this a joke or are we living in the twilight zone. There are plenty of attractive ladies around the area - THEY JUST DO NOT GO TO MISTY'S! And the music - OK to bland but a long long ways from good. I guess I am just used to great looking ladies and excellent music this place has none of the above. If you are desperate for something to do and the rancho area offers very little - its a perfect place to go. Misty's isn't your typical nightclub. The crowd tends to be on the older side, but if that isn't something that bothers you then you won't have a problem here. I'm on the younger side of the spectrum and still manage to enjoy myself here. Everyone is really friendly here, including the lovely staff. Victoria is one of the best waitresses here, always so attentive and sweet. The men can be a bit alarming in terms of how much they stare you down, but I've never encountered any problems here nor have I ever felt unsafe. They have security which adds to the sense of safety. Drinks are yummy, especially the blue Hawaiian! Food is good as well. I recommend the quesadilla during happy hour and if you are willing to get something off happy hour, try a pizza! So yummy. No cover most days by the way! Only Friday's and Saturdays require a cover charge. Other than that it's free and worth the trip! (: The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the dance floor is a bit small, which makes it tricky if you want to get your groove on. Other than that it's a pretty rad place. read more

Total cougar bar. Now, I'm not old enough to be a cougar, but you can do some good people-watchin' here.... Like 70year old geezers dancing w/ their 21 year old mail-order-brides. Or haggard overweight 50-something women in mini skirts picking up on any/every young African American man in the club. Generic live band. Aggressive regulars...(word to the wise: dont accidentally sit at their table before they show up for the night. They will sit at a nearbyo table and glare at you till you leave.) At first we went to the bar but we never got greeted by our bartender so we seated ourselves by the dance floor. Our server was absolutely wonderful. I think her name was Victoria or Vanessa orp Veronica (dont remember). OiVery pretty hispanic girl w/ red lipstic. She was personable and attentive and funny. A tip I learned tonight, if you're a hotel guest and want to reserve a table, just get there early, order a drink and leave it at the table for a hour or so, and go back to your room to get ready and that reserves your spot. I saw a table that was vacant for a good half hour before i questioned the guys next to it if anyone was sitting there and they said no one had sat there since they got there, so my boyfriend and I sat down for a hour with no service mind you. The waitress came up and told me that someone was sitting there and i said OK. Another 15 min passed and said we have to move when she gets back and I said ok. Eventually the lady came back and we got the boot apparently because she was a hotel guest. And the whole hour we were there even with the waitress coming up to us, we didn't get any service and had to order our drinks at the bar. So if you're A hotel guest, just remember a watered down drink will reserve your table. read more

I went to this place last night and I loved it! It's an older crowd, 30s to 50s. Very classy place inside of Doubletree Hotel. I enjoyed the live band playing old school, cumbias, Selena and Motown hits. You don't have to worry about running into young skimpy girls in their 20s at this place. Call it a cougar place, that's fine but you also don't have to worry about getting shot either. Highly recommend it to the older classy crowd. read more

OMG!~ I went this weekend 4/14/2012 for my birthday. It's at the Doubletree HOtel and maybe that's why there were so many women there dancing and acting like hookers. I was very disappointed. No security showed up to tone down the raunchiness. Even my husband could not believe how downhill this "place" has become. If you want to go to see "unclass" women give free lap dances, water down drinks, small dance floor & after 10:00 expect to be standing unles you get lucky and someone leave and you have to run for their table; ohh and pay $15 at the door covercharge have "FUN." I will be going back to the Jazz Club Cafe. Mature descent grown folks knowing how to have a good time. read more

i've been going for years to Misty's. I usually stay in the Double Tree Hotel when I go. I live in the San Fernado Valley so its nice not to have to drive home late. I may change my mind staying at the hotel now, they got a little cheap and now charge a cover at the door of Misty's . They used to let the hotel guests in free before 7:30pm. Have come here several times to get our drink on and dance. Usually I will wait in line to buy a drink since we never arrive early enough to get a table. I want to warn those of you who get a table...which I thought I was fortunate enough to Saturday night. We were in a large group celebrating a birthday. I arrived at 7:30 and just in time to order last call for happy hour drinks at 7:44...really? How convenient that our drinks arrived at 8:05 (note to self: get your own drinks)! I told the server I could have easily finished my drink and ordered another round on happy hour. She had attitude but brought us another round on happy hour pricing. So keep track here...4 cosmos at $5. Then another friend showed up so I bought her a Cosmo at regular price. Hmmm...unless regular price is $50 we were ripped off. My husband got the bill (he opened a tab) BIG MISTAKE!!!! Since I was dancing he signed the UN-itemized bill. When he told me the next morning that it was $70...I nearly died. Never again!!! I think fun is where you make it. Went here about three weeks ago with a friend who flies jets loaded with stuff for the Amazon distribution center in Ontario. The pilots stay overnight in the Doubletree and usually fly out again the following evening. I did get a kick out of some of the outfits as another reviewer mentioned, actually laughing at one point, but after a while I just came to appreciate the fact that here were all these different ethnicities of various ages and everybody was just enjoying themselves. Considering all the hatred, dissention and disasters in the world right now, isn't that the way it should be? I didn't understand the young lady's comments about being ogled and feeling unsafe, and then she has a half-naked picture (of herself?) with a caption about not knowing where to put your hands on a man? If she looks like the picture, of course she's going to be ogled in this place! Or probably any place for that matter! BTW, we didn't get there until almost 9:00. Unbelievable!!! If you're under 40 and looking to have a good time, Misty's is not for you! There was a group of 4 couples that decided to go to Misty's on a Saturday night. It was about 8:30 pm and thought we'd have a fun casual night by going to Misty's. Their cover for the night was $15. As we waited for the rest of our party to join us, the bouncer (a.k.a I call the shots) looks at my husband's shoes and says he can't come in. Their dress code states no athletic attire. Ok, so my husband is wearing a polo shirt, jeans and vans type shoes. He was dressed I would say nice, casual. Our other male friends also had the same shoes so they could not get in. Are you serious? They are willing to turn down all this business over shoes? 8 people + $15 cover each + drinks?? Yes they are. Trust me, if my husband has to get dressed up where he needs to wear slacks and dress shoes, we are not going to Misty's. Funny thing was that we had just had dinner earlier that night at Fleming's in Victoria Garden's and there were no "dress code" problem. Sorry Misty's but GET WITH THE TIMES!! We ended up spending money elsewhere. The bouncer might of done us a favor. In reading other reviews we would of got the same attitude inside as we did at the door. Came to this location first different music I can deal with that.but me and my hubby sat right near the bar where the waitresses were and each waitress which was for walked by us about 3 times each didn't look at us walk right passes went to other people to get their drinks came back and not one waitress said can I help you we had to finally get off our seat and have the waitress stopped to ! Was talked into going here by some of my friends, cover charge a bit too much. I enjoyed the lounge seating, the band was decent. The size of the drinks way too small. I'm in my 40's and not a cougar, there just to enjoy a drink with friends. Older crowd, I prefer this than being the only old chick in a place full of young kids. l didn't notice any cougars, however maybe some people consider any woman over 40 who's out with friends a cougar. This place is a dance lounge for people 30 and over. The music is great old school. Most of the bands are very good and geared toward the top 40, old school genre. However, it never fails that there is always some type of drama going on. My friend danced with a guy and his lunatic ex girlfriend was there and got jealous so she marched into the floor and pretty much told my friend to go away and she started arguing with her ex on the floor. My friend left but we could not help but laugh about how dramatic and crazy this girl was. Another time there was a couple there who were dancing with other people to pick up on - they were married swingers. Although the music is good to dance to. It is not a place to meet Mr. Right.
