Was too small so went to store on 8/28 for return or exchange. I ordered a pair off all star pants that were too big let the games begin. My account has not been credited nor being sent a smaller version which is what I want of the pants. I send multiple emails barely any correspondence. Have given all info including my purchase and order numbers. I have spoken to two people on two occasions who sent me to another mail box when I have yet to hear from them. In all please think twice before ordering here. Love this store! It's great to re-up on philly gear. Their clothing is a little on the more expensive side but great quality. The store associates are also really helpful. one of the managers, Arielle, is so nice! She also has an amazing smile and is always dressed immaculately. There's another employee name Ciara how also proved to be really helpful. It's great to see people who are knowledgeable and go through extremes to make sure you are content. Parking in the city can be a struggle so hopefully you find street parking but there's also lots as well as the option to take the train. Awesome store for retro sports apparel/gear. Spent a happy half hour browsing through their racks during the MLB end-of-season 50% off sale. They also had a huge selection of cheap but cool NFL hats. Every staff member I talked to was helpful and engaging, and they gladly combed through their back rooms for a throwback jersey in my friend's size. First time shopping at the actual location and not online and must say it was worth the trip!...being able to try the jersey on before purchase is the way to go...not only that, the customers service is A1, you do have to be patient when you ask for a jersey that you don't see, just imagine how many jerseys they have in stock and them having to go to the second floor and look for the right one. I ordered a 97-98 Michael Jordan Home Authentic jersey during July 2020 (below link). Although the quality is great, I immediately noticed that the number 2 on the back of the jersey is not an accurate design for this era - it appears they used the number 2 design from the current Bulls jersey. I've called, and emailed numerous times over the past 7 months to bring this to their attention and exchange possibly for another jersey and I've received no response. I know covid is going on and things are slower but there is no excuse for this. Reading other reviews it seems like customer service has never been good period. Mitchell and Ness claim to pride themselves on having the most authentic Jordan jerseys but their 97-98 Jordan is not accurate. I get an email from these snakes on January 18th that they don't have the product and won't be shipping anything out. I sent an email with of course, no response. All the negative reviews are absolutely true. I bought a $300 dollar shirt. I needed to return it. All the tags were still on it. My tracking number said it was received so I emailed customer service. Someone got back me after 3 days and told me that I would get a refund 10-14 days after they receive the return. So I emailed them again since they had received my return 18 days earlier. I waited 3 days and there was no response. So I sent it a second time 3 days later still no response. So I sent it a third time and finally someone got back to me and said they would investigate my situation. That was 3 days ago and I haven't heard anything. Worst customer service ever. 11/7/22 I purchased online with Mitchell and Ness products. Everything was okay until I didn't receive my package through UPS. I contacted UPS about my package and they said I had to file a claim of a missing package, finally UPS determined that package was lost and they would need information from Mitchell and Ness to issue refund to the seller. Mitchell and doesn't have a phone number to call customer service, everything is done through emails which takes days on weeks to respond back. Jerry the representative of Mitchell and ness replied back with that I needed to filed a claim with ups. Which I did already and said so in the email response back. Months later in February 2023 Mitchell and ness said I should receive a refund 10-14 days. Didn't receive no refund. Contact Mitchell and ness , they replied back in March of this year that i refund was issued. I replied back that I had not received a refund and also I ask how was the refund issued? No reply back . I have ask multiple times. No resolve to this. I'm going to lose over $100 , because Mitchell and Ness doesn't care. The fact that they're are multiple complaints similar to mine, I don't how this gets resolved. I have file complaint through the BBB. Mitchell and Ness doesn't even deserve the one star on the review. Still haven't got my refund. read more

Awful. Ordered a jersey (online) from their site as a xmas gift and needed to return it which requires a return authorization # from them. As others have said, their customer service is non-existent and after multiple attempts to contact them, I finally threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau and only then did they gave me a return #. Sent the jersey in and two months later they refunded 1/5th of the purchase price, despite the fact that I satisfied all of their return requirements to a T. Repeated attempts to contact them for an explanation haven't yielded a response and so I reported them to the BB Bureau. Honestly, all the effort and aggravation probably wasn't worth it given the $ amount, but I genuinely feel like they tried to cheat me out of the refund and so it's more the principle of the matter. As an aside, I find it hard to believe its a staffing issue as they apparently have enough marketing people to flood my email on a daily basis with ads. read more

I received the two football jerseys but have yet to hear anything about the baseball jerseys because they don't answer their phone or return email inquiries. I placed my order during the Black Friday sale. The phone will either ring for a short time or you'll get the recording. I'm 5'8" 166lbs lean build and normally wear a Medium, but the Jim Brown Dark Brown football jersey Medium is so tight in the opening I can't get my head through without shoving it in. Trying to get an RMA but it looks like that won't happen because they don't answer the phone or emails. And still wondering where my two baseball jerseys are?? I ordered a Patriots vintage T-shirt from these guys recently. A size large, tailored cut. It's easily the smallest size large I've ever seen in my life, and I'm not a big guy (40L suit size). About 2-3 inches too short in the sleeves and the overall length. The quality also is just average. I think you can find better at Target or Sports Authority. So I've been trying to call and email them the entire last week to exchange for a larger size or try a non-tailored t-shirt. I got a response back from Jerry via email, and I followed all his instructions with when to call (he said call after the sale ends) and not one person ever picks up the phone there. I asked for an RMA number via email, and again no response from anyone. I've not once been able to speak with someone over the phone. In short, their customer service is horrible, and they have no idea about sizing whatsoever. Take your money elsewhere, even if there's a sale going on. read more

Hands down the worst customer service of any major sports retailer in the United States. Once upon a time all the jerseys were made in the USA. This was when celebrities, athletes and the common man associated M&N's brand with greatness and attention to detail. Fast forward to the present day operation where everything is made in China, almost every jersey has a mistake and the quality is terrible (spots on jerseys, uncomfortable mesh, very awkward fitting (designed like a women's dress silhouette). In particular the customer service is the worst or non existent. Try returning an item or inquiring about an order. A particularly unsavory individual there is Jerry who is in charge of returns/exchanges. I had the displeasure of speaking with him and dealing with his rude comments. He wants to know why you want to make an exchange, almost forcing you to apologize for inconveniencing the store and making it impossible to get an RA (return authorization) number which needs to be written on the return slip and package. Adidas bought the store a few years ago but it still operates as a separate entity with no customer service and unsavory individuals. By the way nothing here is "authentic". Its all made in china knockoff garbage. Go to ebay and buy a second hand version of the real thing if you can find it. read more

But I would love to know what makes this stuff so expensive? Is it hand sewn by Oompa Loompas in a remote island in the South Pacific? Now, that being said they do have some good sales, I was able to snag a Phillies hoodie and t-shirt for $50. But the regular priced merch is just not worth the price tag. So many others out there make throwback stuff now it's not that hard to find for better prices. Service was pretty non-existent, just some guys hanging by the door and at the register not really doing much or helping, with a line at the register with one girl working it. I'd hardly call Brian Dawkins jersey's throwback and they can certainly be had for less than $300. Overall, come for the sales only in my opinion. read more

I'm a big fan of Mitchell & Ness. I love this store -- and more importantly, so does my fiance. I've shopped online many times but this was my first time visiting the brick & mortar location. The selection is a bit limited, which is understandable considering how much they have online, but you can always ask for them to check in the back. I actually stopped in looking for a certain team's gear in a certain size, and they only had 2 or 3 random items -- two of which I've already bought! Oh well. Better luck on the internets, I guess. (For what it's worth, the employees were super helpful and pulled any items they could find in the size I wanted. Really nice and willing to help you find what you need.) But the good thing is that there were a lot of sales! I managed to find a really cute striped button-up Yankees hoodie there in my size for around $40 -- much less than I've paid for anything with an interlocking NY on it before. It sounds like their stock rotates often, according to the sports seasons, so I must have caught them on the tail-end of baseball. There was still a lot of Phillies stuff, and it took a second for me to remember where I was hahah. All in all, it's a nice store to browse, and hopefully you can catch a deal ..... but if you're looking for something specific, you're better off shopping online. read more

Although I'm a big fan of the M&N Products, I'm really disappointed by their customer service. I went there last night to buy a few gifts which I had put on hold without any issues. The issue I had was the lack of service I received, the person who was at the register was too busy having a conversation with his co-workers to answer my questions (such as: Can I please get gift receipts? Do you provide gift boxes for your hats?). After asking the questions a few times I got my answers but I felt like I was taking him away from his conversation. They apparently do not have gift boxes for their hats which I find a bit ridiculous. Also, they will allow the gift recipient a total of 6 days (from Christmas) to exchange the gift, again, I find the time restrain horrible. I was truly disappointed by my experience there, although I love the merchandise, I'd rather deal with paying for s&h than deal with their lack of customer service. read more

Wait, this is a flagship location?! I'd never go to another again. Yikes! I was in downtown Philly a few weeks ago and wanted to pick up a gift for a huge Eagles' fan. A few local people suggested I try this store and I was so disappointed. When I first walked in there were a few people standing around talking and I couldn't immediately figure out if they worked there or if they were customers. The place isn't that big and no one said a word so I thought they couldn't have worked there. When I went to the counter to ask where the eagles stuff was, someone pointed to a small counter. Once I was in the eagles "section" there were a few $250 sweatshirts but not much else. The merchandise was ridiculously overpriced and extremely limited. I asked if that was it and they literally laughed. I think the quality is here and if you're looking for a jersey or another high end product this is your place.
