Yesterday morning was our first time in the office. I took my 5 yr old daughter in for a second opinion, to see if she really needs glasses. From the get go, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to go pick up my son from school, and they accomadated me to give me time to go and come back before the doctor came in to the room. The doctor was very nice and helpful upon entering the room. He was patient with my daughter whom was quite unfamiliar with the process. Over all, I was satisfied and glad I found this office. Clean, organized & very amiable staff. Came her right before Christmas Bc my regular doctor was closed. I woke up one morning with a swollen eye that had a lot of gunk in it. They were able to see me the next day and were super helpful. The doctor was down to earth and gave me the medication I needed. I liked this practice so much I returned with my 13 year old daughter for her eye exam. At first I was going to get her eyeglasses at Costco but the gentleman that works in the section that fills the eyeglass orders told me to first see how much it would cost if i purchased the glasses from them. Turns out my insurance covered the whole pair of glasses with nothing out of my pocket. The glasses came in about 2 weeks later and we went in to get them and were out within 15 minutes. Dr. Latter is the best Ophthalmologist in the business. My wife (a medical doctor) sent me to him because my retina was detaching and she knew that he was the best around. Dr. Latter took his time and gave a very thorough examination. He found what the problem was and referred me for a surgeon consult that same day - even though it was already late in the afternoon. There was hardly any wait time at all. In fact, I hadn't even finished filling out the short 4 page inforation sheet when I was called and escorted back into the room. Dr. Latter recently performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes in the last 2 months. In my first office visit he performed an initial exam and determined that I would require cataract surgery. He identified and explained my surgery options along with his recommendations. He patiently answered all of my questions. The surgeries were scheduled and his office staff sent me a one page letter with all the information that I required. The surgeries were performed in an out patient facility. I was told by another doctor that I need surgery and loosing my eye sight. I went to see Dr. Latter near my house in Huntington Drive for a second opinion over two years ago. Dr. Latter told me that I don't need a surgery. So far my eyes are stable and right eye has improved a little. The wait time is usually less than 15 minutes.
