Amuse bouche. They let us sample this from the bakery.

We found the restaurant after a bit of confused walking around. It is located between the two buildings on a drive parallel to Sample. The place is super clean and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The coffee came out fast and so did the food. Our two breakfast sandwiches were better than we expected! My teenager stopped at half to enjoy the rest at home. The little things add up- hot honey on the hangover bagel, thick cut tomato on the nova one. And the bagels were fluffy, too.

I had been to other Mitch's locations so I was happy to learn that they recently opened in Coral Springs. Located at Sample and University by the Modera Building. There is street and garage parking. If you park in the garage you can scan a QR code in the restaurant and your parking is validated for up to three hours. The restaurant had just recently opened, it was fully staffed and service was efficient. It is bright and welcoming. There are a few tables inside. I ordered The Hangover on a sesame seed bagel which was prepared as described with egg, cheese, bacon, and a hash brown, it was delicious. Staff checked on us a couple times during our visit and brought us some complementary rainbow cookies. Mitch's is a great neighborhood deli with all day breakfast and other offerings including eggs and sandwiches.

Came here again and took my mom for her first time. We came around 1pm and were able to secure a seat without fighting people for it, but it was pretty full in there. Staff were super nice and they kept the place and tables clean and organized. I didn't know this till today, but they'll validate your parking as well! I got the same bagel I got last time (the hangover + cream cheese spread) and it was just as good as the first time I got it. I got it on a rainbow bagel this time instead of Asiago and it was super yummy. The food came out pretty quick. I'll also add that I got more cream cheese spread on my bagel this time compared to last time so I was very happy about that. My mom and I are already planning a trip back to try more menu items cause there's so many other good things on it.

Mitch's downtown is an excellent location if you're trying to have a quick bite alone or looking to eat a excellent meal and chat it up with colleagues. The food is fresh well-made and presentation leaves you wanting to dig in and start eating as soon as the plate hits the table. Service is great , I love how they remember your name and they bring the food to you, employees Ask you if you need anything as they come around and check to make sure everything is to your liking . Definitely sharing this location with everyone , also parking is free as long as you make a purchase with in the restaurant just ask to scan the QR code at the register

After attending a Yelp event across the street, we stopped here to pick up some bagels to bring home. We were happily surprised to be warmly greeted by a familiar face. Quite a while back, we went to a Mitch's in Fort Lauderdale and later another location in Hallandale. And guess who remembered us? Wow. Mitch's has all your deli favorites -- lots of breakfast options as well as sandwiches and wraps. And of course, all sorts of items on a bagel. Service is friendly. Prices are reasonable. And everything you will try here is good as it is in all their other locations. We got an everything bagel and a whole wheat bagel to try. And we know if in the area, we'd stop back by -- even just to say hello to the family!

This is a great new location which is perfectly located below a new apartment complex at Sample Road and University Drive just north of The Walk in Coral Springs. The restaurant is pretty small with a few tables inside and a few small tables outside. There is a parking garage next door and street parking in the front which they will validate your parking for an hour while you order and eat. The menu is similar to their other locations for bagels and coffee. I am so happy they opened this new location because Mitch's Bagels are very good and the service at this location is also very good.

We have been to other Mitch's Bagels locations before and have experienced great sandwiches, bagels and salads ... and Fantastic service. So when we saw Mitch's Downtown was open across from our Yelp event, we had to stop. A familiar face greeted us and welcomed us to their new place. We knew we were getting bagels to take home and they hadn't run out of our favorites just yet. A 3 for 3 (100%) wonderful experience, Mitch's is truly Your Neighborhood Deli and will be of great service to the residential community arising around them!

Pancakes are huge! We tried the Nutella and strawberry ( I could use more strawberries). I also had the pastrami sandwich but it came with literally just pastrami (I told them I wanted it how it comes) so I asked for mustard on the side cause it was dry. The service is excellent!! They are helpful and attentive. Angel and Stephanie helped us out and they were such a delight.

So I had seen that this place opened up near me, so I decided to give it a try. I did not know they had validated parking so I parked a great distance away, and hiked on over. It was a Saturday early afternoon and it was very busy. You could barely move around. I ended up ordering the lavender Matcha latte iced and the pastrami breakfast sandwich. It took a while to get my drink and food which was expected and I appreciate the employees checking in with me. I ended up getting my drink and I thought it was pretty good. I expected to see purple in my cup like the picture but no, that didn't happen. Now that pastrami breakfast sandwich was the most lackluster thing I have ever had. It literally tasted like nothing, which is strange because it comes with cheddar cheese, kale, everything bagel, pastrami, and I got egg whites. With all of that I would not have known I was eating if I wasn't chewing and looking at it. The pastrami had like a hard pull to it. I can say it was not money well spent. Now I will say it's a very petite place on the inside or maybe it felt that way because it had so many body's in it. I loved the wall decor. I came, I saw and now I know.

Mitch's Downtown @mitchsdowntown Coral Springs, FL Had to swing by the new location. Clean store with excellent service. The Iced Lavender Matcha is my fave. I had some yummy chocolate croissants while I waited for my order and they were definitely a great treat. I got an Egg&Cheese on an Asiago Bagel with red pepper aioli. So delicious. Everything was satisfying. Have you been to Mitch's yet? #MitchsDowntown #NewLocation #EggAndCheese LetsDrinkz #EatzWithSweetz #LetsEatz

I've always loved Mitch's Westside Bagels and used to work in offices within walking distance, so I was really excited when they brought it back as Mitch's Downtown Bagel--and it did not disappoint. The place has a great New York-style vibe, and the staff was incredibly warm and friendly. The owner even came by to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch. It's a bit pricier than some other spots, but you truly get what you pay for. My dad and I both ordered omelets, and they were perfectly cooked with all the fixings. My bacon and cheese were evenly distributed, which I really appreciated. And the bagels? Fresh, soft, and never dense--exactly how they should be. I'll definitely be back!

Some places open their doors and hope to fit into the neighborhood. Others walk in like they've already got a reserved seat at the table. Mitch's Downtown is the second one. Yes, this location is new. But Mitch's as a name? That's Coral Springs history. A staple. A tradition. The kind of place people grew up with, moved away from, and then quietly hoped would still be there when they came back. So when this new downtown spot opened as part of the city's glow-up, it didn't feel like a newcomer. It felt like a homecoming with better lighting. Step inside and you get hit with that mid-century modern look. Clean, warm, just enough retro to make you feel cool without trying too hard. It's comfortable in a way that makes you want to sit a little longer than you planned. Order at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food to you. Easy. The staff is friendly, dialed in, and genuinely helpful. Good energy all around. Now let's talk food... because this is where things take a turn, then another turn, and maybe a slight detour through a cheese-filled dream. I went with the breakfast burrito and fries. When it came out, it was hot, loaded, and ready for business. First bite and that cheddar started stretching like it was training for the Olympics. Melted, gooey, borderline dramatic. "Cheese should never whisper... it should make an entrance." This one kicked the door open. Full of flavor, satisfying, the kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite just to acknowledge what's happening. My wife ordered the pastrami, egg, kale, and cheese on a bagel. And here's where the record scratches a bit. It looked the part, but the flavor didn't show up. Heavy on kale, light on seasoning. One of those sandwiches that feels like it forgot its lines halfway through the performance. And then... the plot twist nobody asked for. The plate. I don't know who approved these plates, but they are aggressively small. Not "cute brunch spot" small. I'm talking "this sandwich is actively trying to escape" small. Every bite turns into a balancing act. You're not just eating, you're managing risk. One wrong move and your breakfast is making a break for the table. It's like they said, "Let's serve a full sandwich... on a coaster." So yeah, there are some growing pains here. The flavors on certain items need to be dialed in. And the plate situation needs a serious intervention. But zoom out for a second. The space works. The staff works. The burrito absolutely works. And the Mitch's name already belongs here, which counts for something. If I'm grading off my wife's sandwich alone, we're at three stars. If I'm grading off my burrito, I'm trying to hand out awards. Taking it all together, Mitch's Downtown lands at a solid four stars for me right now... with room to tighten things up and level up. And I'll be back. Hopefully with a bigger plate... and maybe a seatbelt for my sandwich.

    2-2-2, enough for a 2nd meal!

My son and I stumbled upon this delicious little deli next to cityhall. The bagel sandwich was great, the French toast was heavenly, and the bacon melted in your mouth. Caleb, who rang us up, was very cheerful and helpful. Angel was very informative as she circulated, checking on customers. This is a walkup to order. They have breakfast options as well as sandwiches, juices, coffees & more. The inside is small but cosy, with about 10-12 small tables or shared high table tables. There are also several outside tables and water bowls for dogs. I will definitely be coming back here again. Since this is the "downtown" area of Coral Springs, they off parking valet and validation for the building garage. If you park at the bank, you may get towed or ticketed.

In addition to the menu on the counter, they have a blackboard with various featured items -- including soups of the day -- and specials. They use Board Head meats which you can see in the case. We both ordered their Italian sub, but I made a few changes to mine leaving out the ham and the capicola. The bread was soft and went well with all the meats, cheeses, and veggies. It was an excellent sandwich. We each ate half (the sandwich was stuffed with stuff) and took half home. We were talking about other options that they have when the owner mentioned various desserts -- including banana pudding. She mentioned that it's quite popular and sells out often, but she just happened to have some ready. This is my husband's favorite dessert. He couldn't resist getting a container of it. He took a few tastes there and devoured the rest at home. This place is definitely worth a return visit. And if you're looking for a good sub/hero/sandwich, etc. it makes a perfect lunch stop -- to eat in or to go. I'm so glad we tried them.

Breakfast with toddlers is less of a meal and more of a competitive sport…read more That's how we found ourselves at TooJay's Deli with our year and a half old grandsons. And right out of the gate, I'll say this place is very kid friendly. Because about ten minutes in, the boys began conducting what can only be described as a gravity experiment with anything within arm's reach. Our waitress handled it like a seasoned professional. Calm, patient, helpful, and completely unfazed as items occasionally achieved flight status. Her attitude alone set the tone for a really pleasant experience. Now the plot twist. The service was excellent. The food was... a little more complicated. My son and I started with the matzoh ball soup. It was good, but not quite in the same league as my wife's homemade version. The matzoh ball itself was dense, which I actually like. The broth, though, could have used a little more salt. Still good. Just not legendary. Meanwhile the boys were devouring pancakes with the focus of two tiny professional athletes. I didn't get a bite, but judging by the speed at which those pancakes disappeared, I'm comfortable saying they must have been very good. Then came my plate. Scrambled eggs with French fries and a bagel. Another small twist. The bagel was very good. The fries were cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. Exactly what you want. The eggs though? They told a different story. A basic breakfast staple that looked like they hit the pan at a little too much heat. Still edible, just not the soft scramble you hope for. My wife ordered the cheese blintzes and reported they were very good. My mom enjoyed her eggs as well, which added another small twist to the table conversation. Sometimes the food is the headliner. Sometimes the experience is. Today the grandsons and the waitress stole the show. Between the kid friendly atmosphere, the fantastic service, and some solid menu items, this visit lands at four stars. If three and a half stars existed, that might be the precise score for the food alone. But our waitress lifted the whole experience. And when you're dining with toddlers conducting airborne physics experiments, that kind of service deserves some extra credit.

Some restaurants feed you. Others save you…read more Dyan's Country Kitchen is the place that quite literally welcomed me to Coral Springs after a brutal move out of North Miami--a move that turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. And somehow, like a perfectly timed cup of coffee, this place showed up right when I needed it. This isn't a restaurant. It's a community checkpoint. A living room with a griddle. A place where the food hits, the service actually looks you in the eye, and you feel--immediately--that you belong here. The vibe? Come for the food. Stay for the show. Servers calling orders like seasoned pros. Regulars holding court. Plates flying out like controlled chaos. It's loud in the right way. Alive in the right way. The kind of place where you don't need background music because the room already has a pulse. Now let's talk about the holy scripture. The eggs Benedict with salmon is not just good--it's sacred. Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, salmon that knows exactly why it's there. This is breakfast as theology. If you've had a bad week, this fixes things. Today I went lighter--chicken salad sandwich, split with my fiancée--and it was dialed in. Balanced, comforting, zero nonsense. And the fries? Absolute heaven. Crisp, golden, seasoned by people who understand that fries are not a side--they're a responsibility. But then... I made the mistake of looking over. There it was. The club sandwich. Stacked so high it looked like it could feed four people and still have leftovers for regret. I don't know who ordered it, but I respect them deeply. That sandwich was a flex. What really seals it though--reasonable prices. In 2026, that's practically revolutionary. Great food, generous portions, stellar service, and prices that don't make you feel like you need a second job. That's rare. That's gold. I'm genuinely grateful places like Dyan's still exist. Grateful that they welcomed me and my fiancée into this city without knowing it--just by doing what they do best, every single day.

I was seating at the counter, watching David the man that prepares the sandwiches to go. David is very talkative, but looked like he knew what he was doing preparing those sandwiches. I observed the young girl at the register, in what I would consider in a disrespectful manner, tell David to hurry up with the orders. Not appropriate in front of customers. The new owner, was walking around the counter area, very stoic, not greeting anyone. How did I know that was the new owner. I asked. I won't be back at Dyan's. I suggest, the new owner start greeting the customers. And the cashier, not treat her coworkers in a rude way.

Best hoagie restaurant in town, but I might be a tad bit biased. I first visited their Fort…read moreLauderdale location, and when I saw that they called the sandwiches "hoagies" I got a little excited. I grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and back home, subs are called hoagies. In other parts of the country they might be subs or heroes, but not where I'm from. The other regional staple is that we always have birch beer at our hoagie shops. Now, living in South Florida, I rarely find birch beer, but when I do, it's a great day. Well, Laspada has birch beer. On tap. I was in heaven. The other great thing about this place is that the way they make the sandwiches. I'll save the actual construction as a surprise, because you have to see it to believe it, but they put meat on the bread, then load it up with whatever it is you want in the way of vegetation, then more meat on top! This place is awesome! Unless you're a vegan, but then you wouldn't be going to a hoagie shop, so it doesn't matter. But for normal people, it's incredible! Hands down this is my favorite hoagie/sub/hero shop in the area. And they have more than one location so I can get a hoagie pretty much anytime I want one.

If sandwiches had a Hall of Fame, this place would have a first-ballot plaque and its own highlight…read morereel. Walking into LaSpada's Original Hoagies isn't just ordering lunch, it's stepping into a deli version of a live sporting event. There's energy, there's precision, and yes, there's the legendary "airmail" toss of freshly sliced meat flying down the line like it's got somewhere important to be. Blink and you miss it. Smile and you're part of it. I went with my go-to: the Italian. And not just any Italian... this thing shows up dressed to impress. We're talking Boar's Head ham, cappy, pastrami, and provolone, sliced fresh right in front of you, then launched with deli theatrics onto perfectly waiting Italian bread. From there, it gets piled high with crisp veggies and those Italian peppers that quietly steal the show. Every bite hits like it's been rehearsing for years. Somewhere around bite three, I had a moment of clarity: "This isn't a sandwich... it's a commitment." Plot twist... you think you're just grabbing lunch. You're not. You're entering into a multi-meal agreement. A large sub here doesn't just feed you, it sticks with you. Lunch today, lunch tomorrow, maybe a late-night "just one more bite" situation. It's generous in a way that feels personal. My wife ordered the roast beef, and wow. Perfectly rare, ridiculously tender, sliced fresh and yes, sent flying down the line like it had a boarding pass. It was the kind of sandwich that makes you reconsider your own order mid-bite. Quick detour, because it deserves it... the homemade macaroni salad. I don't throw this around lightly, but I'd put it up against anyone's for best in class. Creamy, balanced, and somehow disappears faster than you expect. That's not an accident. And then you remember... this place took home "Best Sub in South Florida" from the Sun-Sentinel in 2025. Not surprising. Honestly, it feels overdue. Micro twist: you walk in thinking you'll try something new next time. You won't. You'll be back for the same order, and you'll be happy about it. After 25+ years in Coral Springs, they're not just consistent, they're automatic. The kind of place where you don't wonder if it'll be good... you just decide how hungry you are. Highest recommendation. Five stars, no hesitation. Final thought: Some places make sandwiches. LaSpada's Original Hoagies makes believers.

They have a rightful cult-following! I live 5 minutes away... I ordered for pickup to celebrate after leaving my dental appointment. I went with their cup of Matzo Ball soup and the iconic Pastrami sandwich on rye bread with Russian dressing, a side of Cole slaw, and a juicy dill pickle. This was all pure comfort food! ...from the seasoned matzo ball soup mixed together in a clear broth alongside selected vegetables... This brings back treasured flashbacks of grandma's cooking! The Pastrami sandwich on rye is juicy, tender, and flavorful with the Russian dressing and the side of cole slaw. This truly is a symphony of delicious flavors that bring me back to the delis in Philadelphia and New York City. The dill pickle brings cherished memories of Rascal House. I can't think of any other deli down in SoFlo that comes close! I've sampled many and there's no comparison. I'm going to be a new regular that's breaking away from my familiar spot. This will be a stellar breakfast spot. I also want to sample the Reuben and tongue sandwich! See you around :-)

I think there were more folks doing takeout than dining in. We asked -- as it wasn't on the menu -- but they do offer a half sandwich and soup option. Your choices of soup are noodle, or matzah ball, or soup of the day. And you can choose any of the deli meat sandwiches. I had their matzah ball soup with a half pastrami sandwich. He had the chicken noodle with a half corned beef. The sandwiches come with a pickle slice and coleslaw. The matzah ball was light and fluffy. The soup base was flavorful. The pastrami was a bit fatty and grisly so I had to deconstruct it. The rye was soft in the center and got a tad soggy from the meat, but had a nice outer edge crust. I think I'd get the corned beef instead in the future. I gave my well marinated pickle to my husband -- I'm a half sour gal myself. But I liked the slightly sweet coleslaw. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

How Julian's Bagels stayed hidden from me for 17 YEARS deserves a Netflix documentary…read more I have lived around the corner from this place forever. I've driven past it thousands of times on Wiles Road without noticing it sitting there quietly between auto repair shops across from Costco like some kind of breakfast speakeasy. Meanwhile, these people have apparently been serving legit breakfast this entire time. The second we walked in, we got greeted like cousins who finally came home from war. Friendly, warm, joking around, genuinely happy we were there. You know how some breakfast spots make you feel like you personally ruined their morning by ordering eggs? Not here. My wife ordered the veggie omelette with home fries and a toasted bagel. Everything tasted fresh. Actual fresh vegetables. Not the sad, wet diner veggies that look emotionally exhausted before they hit the grill. I went with scrambled eggs, french fries, and a bagel because apparently my inner 8-year-old was making decisions today. Then came "the sauce." Sweet mercy. They recommended their secret sauce and suddenly breakfast turned into an event. The spicy version isn't really spicy unless ranch dressing intimidates you, but it has this smoky pepper flavor that somehow made EVERYTHING better. Eggs? Fantastic. Fries? Unreal. I would've dipped my car keys in it if nobody was watching. At one point my wife, who normally avoids spicy food like it owes her money, kept stealing fries off my plate just to use my sauce before finally admitting she needed her own serving. That sauce could solve arguments. Now for the only small hiccup: the bagel itself didn't taste house made to me. Honestly tasted a little Costco-adjacent, which is hilarious considering Costco is literally across the street. But that's also on me because I didn't get it toasted. Rookie mistake. Toast your bagel, people. This is valuable community information. And honestly, it takes a LOT for me to hand out five stars. I grade restaurants like Simon Cowell judging karaoke night. But the service alone almost got them there by itself. Add the fresh breakfast, hidden gem atmosphere, and that ridiculous sauce, and yeah... I'll absolutely be back. Pro tip #1: Toast the bagel.Pro tip #2: Get the sauce.Pro tip #3: Don't be like me and accidentally ignore this place for nearly two decades. Four and a half stars.
