Here's what I ordered: French toast sandwich w/chocolate chip bagel - 8.4/10 It was tasty and I enjoyed the maple flavor so I would go back to try it with the french toast bagel Frozen Caffé Caramel - 7.1/10 It had a slight caramel flavor but It was not sweet enough for me. The women working there were very friendly and welcoming and the place has a cozy diner vibe to it with some limited seating outside. They wear the Einstein's name, but somehow don't quite live up to the myth. Same franchise, same logo, but the flavor and texture just don't hit the same. The poppy bagel, my old standby, feels like a cover band playing the hits without the soul of the original. It's not bad--it's fine--but fine isn't why I chase down a bagel joint. So it's 2 months later and the same thing. A bagel is $1.79 and the side of vege cream cheese indicates $1.99 on the receipt, so the total should be $3.78... yet I'm billed $6.09 again. I didn't want a bagel earlier and then suddenly I had to have one ASAP. Manhattan Bagel to the rescue and it was on my way and close to my interim destination. Quite busy late on a Sunday morning, there was a queue and the crew here were doing their best to keep it moving. A manager/owner person was helping and directing and supporting, which did improve things. Pumpernickel bagel with scallion cream cheese was great. They certainly didn't skimp on the cream cheese or the bagel. Price is not cheap but they have a good selection of bagels even this late in the day and they're working hard to move them along. Counter service was friendly though they should not have the same person running the register as the person making drinks, it was kind of a hectic Saturday morning situation when we came. Me and my mother have been going here for years, they have always been very nice and you got a good amount of food for the high prices you were paying, we loved it. Today we went and the people that worked there were so rude, we stood there for awhile unsure where to go because they were ignoring us, we thought ok maybe it's an off day..until we got our food. I don't get to the north end of Coral Springs too often but I was in the area this morning. I called in my take out order and paid for it at the same time so I could take advantage of their curb side service. I ordered 8 ozs. of lox spread. The cream cheese was smooth and creamy with chunks of smoked fish through out. I also bought a dozen bagels. The assortment was tremendous and the quality even better. Can't say I ever ate an everything multi grain bagel before but I will again. read more

I decided to try this restaurant because my usual go-to breakfast place in this area closed. What drew me to Manhattan Bagel was the coffee ice cubes they use for their iced coffee drinks, and I have to say, the iced coffee was very good. Also very good was the service. The employees were friendly, the line moved quickly, and we got our food delivered to our table in a timely fashion. However, the food was SO disappointing. Maybe it was an off day, but I was genuinely upset that my quest for a delicious bagel spot would have to continue. Considering "bagel" is in the restaurant's name, I had high hopes. But alas, the bagels were flavorless and unsatisfying. I got vegetable cream cheese on my everything bagel (should have been flavor overload) and even that lacked taste. While this place is in a convenient location, has plenty of parking, efficient staff, and decent coffee, I can not recommend them for a fulfilling and tasty breakfast. read more

First bagel place I went to when moving to Coral Springs, and boy was it good! I normally get the nova lox on an everything bagel and it's delicious. My husband has gotten a couple others that he was happy with. I normally don't drink coffee, but I decided to try their caramel macchiato. Best prices in town! Super fast service and friendly staff. The place is clean and always busy with regulars. They have a LOT of sandwiches to choose from as well as amazing coffee. But the best part is, they don't rip you off for prices. I've tried Nova Lox on a bagel and many other Coral Springs breakfast spots.. and been charged up to $18 for one sandwich and side. NOT here! I think my total was $12 (receipt attached) food was ON point! Comes in a cute little box in you decide to take it to go. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I've always wanted to try out this bagel joint, as I drive by it all the time! Finally, my boyfriend and I had a day off and decided to have a late breakfast. We definitely missed the early morning crowd, and were able to walk right up and order. My boyfriend ordered the Nova Lox on a plain bagel and really enjoyed it! He's obsessed with lox, so he's always super excited when a place has it on their menu. I went with the bacon, egg, and cheese on a toasted everything bagel. Their bagels are amazing and probably one of the best I have tasted! I just got a simple coffee, but I loved that they offered flavored coffee that you can serve yourself. It was flavorful and hot. My boyfriend got the macchiato and I tried a sip and boy was it delicious! I thought the prices were a little on the expensive side, but overall the food was tasty! This restaurant is always full of Coral Springs finest men and ladies in uniform. I notice that the staff knows regulars by name and everyone is very friendly. I don't know that I've ever had the coffee, I always take a bagel to go. The egg whites I get in my bagel are so fresh and don't look like an artificial fast food egg patty. I ran some errands and decided I wanted a second cup. It was 12:30 and was told there was no more decaf and he was not going to make it. Wow. The business is open another hour and a half. The service and standards of this location have completely fallen by the wayside over the last few months. However, my most recent and last visit which was on the date this review is being written was the proverbial straw the broke the camel's back for me and will be the reason I do not return to this location that I have visited many times since they rebranded/switched from Brooklyn Water. I had a fairly easy order at a time where there was no real rush taking place and the line had a steady, 2/3 people. I waited 23 minutes from the time my order was placed until receipt of the omelet and bagel I ordered. Not earth-shattering long by any means, but unfortunately, that was not the end of it. The omelet had been sitting in the window on a plate which was overlooked for about 15 minutes because the expo employee was looking for a to-go order. When the window cleared and my food was the only thing sitting they finally realized what had happened. I pointed out that the food had been sitting for a while in a window without lamps on a plate getting cold and she agreed and handed it back to the kitchen to remake. Their version of doing so was slapping the omelet back on the grill for about 10 seconds each side and putting it in a to-go box. By this time I cut my losses and took the food. My microwave couldn't save this husk of an omelet dried from overcooking with soggy bacon and congealed cheese. I will forever pay the extra money and go to Metro or across the street to Einsteins. Sad since this location started with so much potential. Two stars because the counter staff was as friendly as they could be up against a situation they had no control over but management and kitchen need to get in check. read more
