Recently I attempted to have lunch here but it didn't go as planned. Attached is a picture of the BLT that I ordered. The side of home fries were very good. The sandwich barely had bacon on it, just a few "bacon crumbles" on the top and bottom, with an excessive amount of lettuce and tomato. I sent it back and ordered a simple hot dog. I sent that back too, as it was inedible. Along with the mustard, the server brought an army of fruit flies, and I'll just leave it at that. The service was poor and the food was questionable. Fruit flies everywhere. Server unfazed. Manager or owner was on the phone and wouldn't come out and talk with me. The cashier was rude when I questioned the 3% universal charge on the check. She said it was a credit card fee which is typical these days, but I was paying with cash. At my request she removed the charge. read more

It's been quite a while since I've grabbed breakfast with the fam. After a nice workout, Pops and I decided to start the day off right at Rob's Bageland! Going in, they must've renovated the interior as there was more space and city wallpaper across the wall. For breakfast, I ordered 1x breakfast plate with ham, soft scrambled eggs with American, home fries, orange juice & everything bagel, and Pops ordered 1x breakfast plate with bacon, over easy eggs, home fries, decaf coffee & wheat toast. Going into my review, breakfast was fantastic! I didn't necessarily receive what I ordered, but honestly, it turned out for the best as it was even better (they made me an omelet with diced ham and american cheese). Scrambled eggs were super soft, plenty of chunky ham, and nicely melted cheese! The bagel wasn't too heavy but slightly crispy. The home fries could've been more well done, but they were tasty. The over eggs were nicely runny, bacon was thick/flavorful, toast toasty, and the potatoes on this plate were seasoned & crispy! In addition, the OJ was good as it had pulp strands and not watered-down juice. The decaf had a fresh taste and wasn't a bitter coffee ground. Came here with my father for what we thought would be more of a counter service breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprised to find ample seating with friendly service. The place is very casual, with NYC decor: nothing fancy or over the top. The food was tasty, and the servings were massive. I enjoyed a three egg omelette, which came with a choice of side AND a bagel. Let me tell you the bagels are the closest to NYC bagels I've had since leaving Queens, NY 13 years ago - crunchy exterior with a fluffy and firm bite. We ordered a bagel/nova lox platter for 10, to be used for a usual purpose and delivered to an unusual location. We staged a "watch party" for a live streamed event at a movie theater. Rob's manager, David, was completely unfazed and did a super job of shepherding the order. The delivery person was early, which relieved the worry of the people at the event. They were overjoyed at the promptness and, of course, the quality of the food. In fact, they raved more about the food than about the event they were attending. Furthermore, we set this order up from afar, since we do not live in Florida. Obviously, that adds a layer of complications. Rob's did a super job all around - understanding our needs, guiding us to a proper order for our event, delivering promptly, and providing high quality food. I can't believe the reviews for Bageland! I have been going here for years and their service is fantastic! Their bagels hands down are the absolute best in town! If you like Everything bagels and pumpernickel they make an everything pumpernickel that is the best thing since the bagel was invented!! We have eaten here for sit down service over 20 times and never had a bad meal ! I highly reccomend Rob's bageland over anywhere in South Florida! Rob's Bageland is a nice breakfast place in a strip mall in Coral Springs. My family and I came here for breakfast and we enjoyed ourselves. Our server was a hoot and gave us excellent customer service. I ordered the bageland grand slam with challulah French toast and it was OK. The eggs were runny, and the sausage was a little bland, but the French Toast was excellent!! The coffee was OK as well. I enjoyed my breakfast and the ambiance was nice and felt like home. I am visiting from out of town, so I cannot say I will be back here anytime soon, but if I do come back, I'll be sure to come back here for breakfast. I was most shocked by the owner in the kitchen making sure the food came out correct, also his passion for homemade flavors. His homemade hash was amazing. All his salads (Chicken, egg and Tuna) are made in house. I went there as a kid in the 80's and it brings back great memories. I went to Rob's bageland here in Coral Springs with my friend in the neighborhood. Being a New Yorker it's natural to believe that no one can do New York Deli appetizing like a New York Deli... BOY, was I wrong. A five minute drive from my friends house here we come. Easy in and out off the main road with plenty of parking. The store was big and bright with a beautiful display of their food. It was a forgone conclusion that I was here for the Bialy and lox. The wall art were pictures from New York City... How Ironic. We were greeted with a big hello and smile. After sitting our waitress was over to our table in seconds... We had coffee and water a minute later. I had the Bialy and lox platter, my friend had soup and a scoop of egg salad. She served our food a few minutes later and we were off. My friends soup was amazing (see pict.) and that came with a giant scoop of egg salad which was actually a half sandwich. The bialy was terrific (and that's coming from a Longuylander.) The lox was perfectly slice, that's right, it was not packaged lox. That too was excellent. It was served with plenty of side... lettuce, tomato, onion, and even olive and green pepper. Since a newer owner took over, we haven't eaten in this deli until now. We have however frequently purchased bagels and cold cuts from the counter. My husband ordered a fish platter. The baked salmon was delicious. A bagel was included. I had two poached eggs with ham, oatmeal and a bagel of choice. I prefer ham to be moist rather than dried out. A basket of cream cheese, butter and little mini muffins was placed on the table. The muffins could have tasted fresher. The service by a sweet smiling waitress was fast and efficient. She couldn't have been more attentive! The prices for breakfast items on the menu were quite reasonable. I will return for breakfast again. I would also recommend this venue for breakfast. read more

We have always come here for the best bagels and bialys but never for breakfast. In the last 10 days we have sit down for breakfast 3 times. Our server was fantastic and she was an absolute pleasure to be around. Ditto for the gentleman who makes sure water and coffee is always filled. The food is excellent and prices are competitive. I was in the plaza and hungry and tried to decide between here and the smoothie place. I was craving a bagel but they didn't have good reviews and I just decided to try it anyways. I am SO GLAD I did. Beet bagel I've had outside of NYC. I got the pumpernickel everything with scallion cream cheese. Bagel was light and a little chewy but not overly so. Cream cheese was perfect with the right amount of actual scallion pieces. Of course, had to get a martinellis apple juice. Very happy with the bagel. Went for breakfast while my mom was in town. She was giving a coffee cup with lipstick on it. Our waitress just picked it ho and eventually returned with another cup of coffee. Yesterday we went to Dandee to try their Taylor, Egg and Cheese sandwich. Today I wanted something closer to home, so I went to Rob's Bageland down the block. Usually, don't go there as I don't eat bagels that often and omelets and other breakfast things are meals I do at home. But I still want an excellent local source for an occasional egg, meat, and cheese sandwich. So far, El Cubano Sandwich Shop is my favorite but only for their Caballo (Steak, Egg, and Cheese). Bageland has been here for a long time. It's a full-service luncheonette and deli restaurant. I walked up to the deli counter and said I wanted a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich. The counterman, who I think might be Rob himself, asked me, "What do you want it on?" and I said, "Kaiser." Then he said, "How do you want the eggs?" and I said, "Fried." He then said, "How done," and I said, "Over Easy/Medium." He then said, "Okay, but it's gonna be very floppy and runny," and I said, "Yes, I am aware of that." He then gave me a thumbs up. Then he asked me what kind of potatoes I wanted. I said, "potatoes?" as if in a state of shock. "Yeah, it comes with it." So I said, "Burned." Then he gave me another thumbs up. First of all, let me say that as a breakfast sandwich, with the potatoes, this is a good value at $2.99. I cannot speak for the bagels at this place, but I think this is an overall right spot to get this type of sandwich. The kaiser itself is a bit soft, it lacks the crust, but I can forgive it for this price. Other people would likely get it on a bagel, I don't believe in bagel sandwiches. Bacon is crispy, eggs cooked perfectly to order. It comes with potatoes that were cooked nicely and burned when I asked for them. Other observations: The deli meats themselves are Hebrew National, and other commercial things, so don't expect deli sandwich nirvana here. But they do make their knishes in-house, and they are BIG. They don't have kasha, only potato. "Those kasha people are gone," the deli man said to me. "I'm a kasha person," I said. He looked at me with sad eyes. read more

We hadn't been here for a while and decided to try it after our neighbors said they had been there recently and it was great. We were pleasantly surprised to see the new renovations and comfortable booths. The new manager, David, came over to greet us and seat us. A waitress came right over for drink orders. I ordered the nova platter and it did not disappoint. There was enough nova for 3 bagels. The service was excellent as well as the food. So I got excited as I got the bag from delivery because I could feel that the food was, if not hot, at least warm enough to feel lt through the bag and styrofoam box. Well, the pastrami was NOT the "Brooklyn's" best that I remember from there, hardly any seasoning AND it was dry and overcooked. On top of that, it didn't have the mayo I requested on the sandwich nor the extra on the side that I also requested. This was my first time here but my husband has been here twice before. You seat yourself and you're greeted very fast by a smiling face, then another smiling face came and took our drink order. Then we ordered our food when she got back and my husband ordered the strawberry challah bread French toast , he said it was delicious! Rob's Bageland is probably my favorite breakfast spot in the area. Located in a Publix shopping plaza it would be easy to miss if you didn't see that van they own out front with all the bagels on it. Inside is your typical diner-like atmosphere filled with friendly staff who can turn on the charm and attitude at any given moment and of course, a couple dozen tables that are always occupied. As somewhat of a regular I was surprised that that the hostess remembered me; asking me where I had been because it had been awhile. The food is always good. If you get there early enough you'll be treated with mini cornbread muffins. My advice? Get there early. They are delicious. I've had their pancakes, French toast, I've tried their eggs (over medium), bacon, sausage and I've even made my own omelette. Everything has been great. Hash browns or home fries- love either. You really can't go wrong. The food arrives fast, hot and just how you ordered it. Like I mentioned before, the staff is great. Never had a bad experience here and can't imagine I ever will. Today I made a stop at this place to grab some breakfast. I was visiting a friend from out of town. I figured a bagel place would be a perfect spot to eat. Walking in the bagels stored on the left hand side looked delicious. I ordered "The Mess" which was an egg and cheese sandwich with sausage, it came with home fries. I also wanted an everything bagel on the side as they bring cream cheese out to the table when you sit down. My buddy ordered eggs benedict with a bagel. When I received my order instead of giving me an egg sandwich with a bagel on the side, I was given a the egg sandwich with the bagel as the bread. I explained to the waitress that I ordered a sandwich with a bagel on the side. She started to argue with me. She told me that she told me it was a sandwich which obviously I knew this as it was the reason I ordered what I did. She continued to cut me off as I was talking. I said miss I am telling you what I ordered because I know what I wanted. She just would not listen. Eventually she brought me a roll for the sandwich and ignored our table the rest of time we were in the restaurant. The problem this caused was she never brought us any utensils. My buddy needed a fork for his eggs benedict and I did as well for the home fries. By the time she brought me my fork my home fries were cold and I was not going to eat them. It took about 10 minutes after we got our food to get utensils. On top of that, it means we did not have any napkins during our meal either. The bagel was good the rest was a disaster. This was the worst service I have ever experienced. The cherry on top was we were the only patrons sitting down when we arrived. Cant imagine what would happen if it was busy. Highly disappointed. Always love coming here on the weekends for breakfast!! They have a great selection of bagels, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, etc. My only issue is sometimes the service can be slow but it can be understandable when the place is packed! With my most recent visit I had "the mess" which is a breakfast sandwich in which i had eggs, bacon, and cheese on a plain bagel. My boyfriend has the lox, onion, and cheese omelette that came with a side of bread and grits. The thing was hugeeee! I've never had a problem with the food and the staff is super helpful! Just wanted a good hash breakfast. She forgot the lemon for the water. Over easy eggs were runny. Hash was bland. Bagel not toasted right, the edge was burnt and no toast in the middle and cold. Hashbrowns were under done. She didn't check on me until i was 75% done. Then she brought over done hashbrowns and burnt bagel. Took the other stuff away and now I have inedible items. Left hungry. Don't bother going here, absolutely terrible. The diner type places think their food and staff are just fine since they are still in business, but if it was any good, there would be a line to get in. I've been here three times in the last few months. 2 of which are within two weeks of each other. Fast service, and delicious food. The homemade corned beef and hash with eggs breakfast is a platefull and delicious. My wife has been coming here for years and it's about time I give this place a great rating! The portions are always large and filling! The service is always pleasant and timely! The menu options are endless! The bagels are the freshest I have ever had!! The prices are approximately $10 per person for a full meal and drink. There is no other place you'll want to go for breaklast, brunch, or lunch! PS: there salmon is incredibly fresh, get it smoked.
