PLAIN BAGEL WITH STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE & FRIES

I ordered from Mitch's Downtown through doordash and I would definitely reccomend and order again. I ordered a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese as well as a side of fries, the total came out to $14.25 w/o tip. This place is perfect for a quick bite for breakfast and they have many choices for brunch. The bagel was alright and the fries were tasty.

I placed an Uber Eats delivery order, which was very fast and arrived in less than 15 minutes. I also want to say that I'm not someone who usually gives bad reviews--especially to small local businesses. I truly prefer to support them and would much rather be giving 5 stars. That said, I was really disappointed with this order. I ordered a toasted lox bagel (gluten-free, due to a gluten allergy), an everything bagel, traditional chicken salad, bacon, and an iced coffee with oat milk. The lox bagel was not toasted as requested--it arrived cold and mushy. I am also unsure whether it was the gluten-free bagel I ordered, since it did not resemble an everything bagel. It resembled a bagel more and tasted strongly of onion, with none of the flavor or texture I associate with an everything bagel. From what I understood, gluten-free onion bagels are not offered on the menu, which made me question what I received. Due to my gluten allergy, I did not feel comfortable eating it. The chicken salad!!!! Is that the portion size you pay over $7.00 for!!!! No it can't be. I ordered their traditional chicken salad. The menu does not list nuts or berries as ingredients, but it arrived containing both and a lot of them. This is a serious concern for anyone with allergies. I have a nut allergy, so this was not something I could safely eat. Be prepared to eat 1/2 chicken + 1/2 nuts and berries. The bacon was cold, but it was still crunchy. The iced coffee was also disappointing. I ordered oat milk due to a lactose allergy, but the coffee itself tasted extremely sweet, almost like pure sugar, and the color was off for me. Yes, I know we all have our "ice-coffee color preference." This is not mine. I had to adjust it at home just to make it something I could drink. A lot of Nespresso added to the sugar drink. One suggestion that could really improve the ordering experience would be adding a notes section for customers to make small modifications or provide additional information about allergies and dietary needs. I truly hate leaving a negative review, especially for a local business, but with multiple allergy-related concerns, items arriving differently than requested, and cold, I cannot say this was the experience I was hoping for.

Ok so I ordered one of my faves, their nova lox, it was kinda satisfying for the moment, but just a little too salty. The salmon was very fresh and absolutely delicious, and so was the cream cheese, but idk exactly what was too salty, I'm thinking it was the cheese. The onion bagel was also very delicious and fresh. I also like how they cut it so perfectly. I've picked up from here before for others, but I had no idea that they sold nova lox. Einstein Bros still wins.

I read the great reviews and I can see there's a lot to potentially like about Mitch's Downtown Bagel Cafe. I had a very tasty breakfast burrito, with self-applied Cholula hot sauce. I like the general location, which is a covered courtyard. Nice and shady and peaceful, which is something I don't usually associate with busy the US1 area by the Big Easy Casino. Today there was some type of vendor show setting up here. I bought a 3-D printed axolotl. So why only 3 stars today? They are open until 3:00 pm and it was 12:30 pm. They were probably busy before we arrived, because they only had a few bagels left and they were out of home fries. I expect to come back for another try and will be open for updating my review at that time.

I love getting an egg everything bagel with egg and cheese and add a hash brown! So yummmmm! My favorite coffee is an ice latte with hazel vanilla. I also love their chicken noodle soup, bagel chips with a nova dip. This is one of my favorite spots.

I had a delicious take out order awaiting me. I ordered on the Mitch's app seamlessly. It was quick and easy. The bagels were delicious. They tasted very fresh. I especially liked the everything and the onion bagels. The chive cream cheese is scrumptious. The plain cream cheese is good too. But, I like more flavor so I will definitely go for the chive cream cheese in the future. They have a nice lunch menu. I would like to dine in here one day when I am in the area. The staff were really nice. I also got some little rainbow bar cookies. I forgot the photo. These were flavorful. This is a great bagel restaurant.

A clean and cozy spot with great tasting food. The food came out fast which is always great. The staff seemed friendly. If it's busy inside, there's seating options outside. I assume it's pet friendly as there was a dog inside. Now about the food.. It all tasted great! I'm not a matcha connoisseur by any means but I thought it was pretty decent. The only thing that threw me off was the size of the burrito. The bagels were huge and stuffing but this burrito came in a tiny plate. The size of plates you put your coffee mug on. Each half I ate in about 4 bites and left me still hungry but I guess the taste made up for it. For its price point, I would likely get a bagel or something else where you'll get more bang for your buck. Overall, a good spot for breakfast with tasty food.

Best bagel i've had in FL!! the everything bagel, which we got for both sandwiches, was excellent. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and all the toppings stayed on the bagel!! The hangover sandwich was sweet and with a little kick, the hash brown was crispy, and very cheesy. The nova was fresh and tasty, hearty amount of capers which I love, delicious cream cheese. Service was great, very quick and nice. Store was clean and spacious, with lots of tables inside and out. Met some of the owners/managers and they were very nice as well, made sure we were happy with our order. Can't wait to be back and try more things!

Okay okay! This place was prettyyyy freaking good. So I went with one of the favorites on the menu. It was a breakfast burrito that had egg, hashbrown, sausage, and red pepper aoli on a sausage wrap. One thing I wish they cut the paper wrap because it was a messy burrito. Other than that, it was incredible. The flavor was dynamite and left me wanting more.

Good options great service! I went last weekend and I'm very tempted to back this weekend too!

Bagels don't count as carbs! This new location is located in a new plaza where they are the only thing open at the moment. They have parking in the back and street parking. I'm excited to see what else they will be opening in the plaza. I came in for the first time on a week day for brunch. They service was absolutely amazing. All the employees were super hospitable. I had the iced coffee with cream on the side. The rainbow bagel was so cute and delicious with their soft cream cheese. I also took the spinach wrap chicken ceasar which was fresh. I'm pleasantly surprised. This spot is fantastic. It's in a new building so it's the only place open right now but I expect it to be super crowded once people realize that it's here. It has a cute little patio courtyard for those of you that like to sit outside. The decor was so cute and the owner was quietly sitting in the corner singing softly to the music playing(I originally thought that he was a customer). The staff is so friendly and efficient. I ordered the hot pastrami and cucumber salad, along with an iced coffee. My friend ordered the hot corned beef sandwich and orange juice. The food was so delicious and fresh. You've got to try the cucumber salad, it makes your tastebuds sing. The sandwiches are fresh and so big that you almost have to eat them open faced. This is a gem. I'll definitely be back. read more

Wonderful chill music fills the area and as you walk in, you see the very happy smiles of the team members. They happily guide you through the many options available and leave you with a great impression. The space is beautiful decorated and I was singing and dancing while I waited for my order. I loved the slogan "bagels don't count as carbs" and now all I want is a bagel. For today, I opted for their Rachel so my bagel story will have to wait for now. The building itself is beautiful, they have an outside section with about 4 tables where you can still hear their tunes. Can't wait to come back! read more

Mo's regular here. Ordered big boy omelette and cappuccino. Capp came out of a machine and tasted like the one I get at the airport lounge. Omelet was huge but not seasoned at all. No salt or pepper. Tables only have napkins on them. No slat pepper ketchup or anything. Asked for a toasted and scooped bagel only half was scooped and was barely toasted. Bagel itself was Florida mid for a place with Bagel in its name. Ordered a Side of tomato where the tomato I received was the end piece and awful. When mentioned they replaced. Fell in love with this little gem in hallandale in a new shopping center, perfect place to have a brunch or breakfast very cozy ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious, especially their breakfast sandwiches and you can pick what bagel you want for the sandwich. I was blown away by their vanilla iced latte, one of the best coffees I've ever had. But the best part of visiting this restaurant was the service, they were so attentive and sweet and helpful. Mimi is serving us and she was the sweetest lady, checking on us making sure everything was good and went above and beyond as a server. Wanted to see how good this place was based on the rating. Pros: 1. clean, fast service and friendly staff. Cons: 1. Way overpriced for a sandwich $18.73 ( everything bagel, two scrambled eggs ( seems like one) one strip of turkey bacon, hash brown and avocado ( $2 extra for a slice. If you're going to charge $2 extra, at least give half the avocado) I know inflation is tough and you have overhead but be reasonable. Avocados go for 2.89 a lb at Whole Foods. 2. Nothing amazing,but just a sandwich you can find for $6 at any corner store or bodega in NYC. 3. Too expensive and they don't give a lot. read more

The actual coffee shop is on the second floor (I believe) and is surrounded by small offices. The cafe itself is nice with a decent amount of seating. It's very fitting, on theme, decorated for the holidays, the coffee tastes good, it's not wildly pricey, AND it's not ANOTHER Starbucks. It was my first time working in this building and I got here so early that I needed a cup of iced coffee. Salvador was so kind and sweet he put his heart into making my iced Carmel latte with almond milk. For paying a total of $6.21 I would say it's solid.

They're generously sized, and they are not stingy with the filling. I have a feeling that's exactly why the bakery counter is constantly buzzing with takeout bags and pickup orders. I also have to give their coffee some love. I usually try coffee black (or with just a touch of sugar) because I actually want to taste it, and their Americano was singing to me with its rich aroma, and smooth flavor. We ordered the Hangover Bagel, Sesame Bagel, and French Toast Bites, paired with an Iced Latte and Orange Mango drink. The bagels were delicious, and the Orange Mango drink was refreshing! However, I wasn't overly impressed with the French Toast Bites or the iced coffee--they could use some improvement. The bread for the French toast itself could also be slightly better. The texture was spot-on - a perfect combination of a chewy interior and a crisp, golden-brown crust. You can tell they're made fresh daily.
