On my first day, I was so disappointed to walk in to a small white room with 1 electric drum set. Not even real drums. Half the time, I was getting up just so the instructor could sit and show me how to play. There was no lesson plan. He literally went on YouTube and showed me websites that taught how to play drums. I thought to myself I can look this up at home. Never taught me form, notes, nothing. Every week I dreaded going there, so that's when I knew it was time to quit. And they kept pushing to sign up another month. I made up an excuse why I quit so I didnt hurt their feelings. But in hindsight, I should have been honest. Fortunately I found another academy that specializes in just drums, and Ive learn SO much from them in the short amount of time. Night and day. Would NOT recommend this place at all.
