If you want a quick meal and excellent cafe con leche then stop by Miwi Cafe. It's reasonably priced and the food is good. Service is quick and friendly. The ambiance is more of a fast food place because that it pretty much what it is. I usually just buy my coffee and food and take it. I'd recommend it for the cafe con leche alone. Delicious! Their croquette sandwich is also very yummy.

One of the most yummy and satisfying pan con bistecs I've had in a long time. True story: after a long morning of work at the nearby hospital, my co workers and I passed by some other co workers who were just opening their takeaway boxes from, what we would found out shortly after, were from Miwi Cafe. It looked so good that we decided to hop in our car and take the short drive there to indulge. An unsuspecting cafe in the middle of a West Kendall shopping plaza, complete with a ventanita and a long dining room inside, we set our eyes to the menu above the counter. Each dish had a picture attached to it and I love that--a visual in addition to the description. The gentleman taking my order was kind and the service was quick. Picking up on my beginner-level Spanish, he quickly adapted his language which I never expect, but always appreciate. Our food was fresh and ready in just minutes and my pan con bistec was, dare say I, divine. The Cuban bread was warm and still fluffy, the mayo-ketchup to fillings ratio was just right, the lettuce was crispy, the tomato sliced just right, the onions flavorful and the palomilla was perfectly soft. Needless to say the papitas were deliciously crunchy as well. With a side of crinkle cut fries, it was a hearty lunch to remember and I ate every last bite. It was one of those meals with friends, that you all just sit and enjoy while barely talking because you're so busy eating. Next time you're in West Kendall, you must stop by Miwi Cafe to get your pan con bistec fix!

I order "Pan con bistec" and what I got was small scrap pieces of steak smothered in ketchup mayo sauce, straw fries, and onions. They tried to hide the fact that it was not a proper piece of meat. More than anything I'm disappointed in them because I like supporting small businesses.

My husband called in to place an order for pick up. We gave the order, they repeated it back to us and it was correct. When we got there, they packed it all up and assured him it was all there. When we got to the ball park for my son's baseball game, we opened up the food and everyone's order was correct except for mine. I ordered a Miwi sandwich which is ham, cheese, bacon, mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. We said no lettuce and tomato....instead all we got was bread, mayo and bacon. I couldn't go back bc we had warmups that were about to start. So disappointing....

Everyday I wake up early to study for a big exam to get into law school. The breakfast they serve at miwis is so delicious, it motivates me to get out of bed and start my day right before a long day of studying. The cafe con leche is perfect temperature, taste and blend of coffee and milk. I truly enjoy picking up my breakfast here everyday. I highly recommend anyone to try it out! For lunch, the pan con bistec is so delicious too! The miwi sauce is unforgettable! You'll be back for more!

We are hooked on their breakfast!!! We order from here every Saturday through Uber eats. Their prices are phenomenal! We love the blt sandwich and their scrambled eggs. My family and I will continue to order from here for a long time.

We ordered Bistec de pollo which was bland and overpriced. The rice was clumpy and the beans tasted like canned beans. Not what I expected.

The shop is small with only the shared outdoor seating with other nearby restaurants. The Pan Con Bistec was very tasty and I liked the crispy bits inside. The flavor of the sauce could have been more pronounced but otherwise a really good sandwich. The Pan con Lechon was okay overall because it tasted very one note flavor and texture wise. The meat was moist and tender but I preferred the Bistec and the Cubano. They also provided a garlic dipping sauce which was very flavorful. However I felt that it overpowered a lot of the sandwich flavors. I also got the Mamey Batida which was smooth and subtle with its sweetness. My first time having a Batida and I really liked the consistency but will probably be choose a different flavor next time.

The restaurant is a classic touristy hole in the wall. You stand outside until ready to order, be prepared to wait 30+ mins. I ordered 2 sandwiches, cuban fries, and chicharrones to split with a friend. The cubano (5/5) and pan con bistec (5/5) were absolutely excellent. Both had a perfect ratio of meat and sauce. But what really set it apart was the crispy crusted bread. Spectacular! The chicharrones (4/5) were a steal - MASSIVE portion for like $5. Insane deal, and delicious. The cuban nachos (4.5/5) had their amazing sauce and garlic confit lechon on it. Delicious and would order both again. Overall, this is a tourist spot but one I don't think can be missed.
