Omg thank you Havana 1957 for a delicious birthday dinner. Our waitress was amazing. We had 7pm reservation but got there early so we were able to be seated before our time. It was before 7 so we were able to enjoy drinks and apps off of the happy hour menu. Mojitos w were so good, I had a guava and coconut one and both were delicious. Apps were good but I'm sorry I ordered one because I was unable to finish my food. I had the Ropa Veja and it was delicious as well as the black beans. We sat outside so seeing everyone walk down Espanola Way was nice.

We LOVE Havana 1957! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants. With several locations across South Florida, it makes it easy and convenient to enjoy whenever the craving hits. Whenever we're in South Beach, it's always on our must-visit list! This was our first time at the Española Way location, and it's definitely the smallest of them all. That said, we still had a great experience. We only ordered drinks and appetizers, and the table space worked fine for that. However, if everyone at the table had ordered full plated meals, it would have felt pretty tight. The service was friendly, the vibes were perfect, and as always, the food and drinks were a solid 10/10. There are restrooms inside along with a small bar area, which is a nice touch. Already looking forward to our next visit!

I've been to to Havana 1957 in Pembroke and it was fine. If you are on the Miami Beach you have stop by the Havana 1957. The food was incredible and I am from Miami. I had a lychee Martini and it was probably one of the best I've had, and our server Laura was amazing. And the Ambiance is spot on especially since it is on Española Way.

When in Miami you gotta try Cuban. Was in South Beach area with co-workers in from Europe so hit the Espanola Way & Ocean Dr. We sat outside to people watch at the Espanola location. We started with the steak empanadas and pork bites for appetizers. The sauce that came with the pork was awesome but was a little let down with the amount of meat in the empanada - they tasted fantastic so don't pass on these. I had their traditional roasted chicken dish - that sauce was the star! Of course the rice and beans were good too. If you like beer, get the Hatuey - nice balance and an easy drink. The staff are friendly and gave great recommendations while not being pushy.

So glad I chose the signature roasted chicken plate. A plate full of flavor and of course I always love a chance to have some rice and beans. Service was great.

Completely enjoyed lunch at Havana 1957. The food is amazing and full of flavor and they have a diverse selection of mojitos. Dining outside covered but limited. The location is quaint and pleasant. There is only one bathroom which can be a challenge if they are busy or anyone in your group has urgency concerns.

The Cuban Sampler. Best way to try everything!

Food was authentic Cuban. So delicious. Service was outstanding and attentive. The place is cute right on the corner of Española way. Best way to try everything is the Cuban sampler.

We ended up dining here after we got lost and couldn't find our original location we wanted to go to. The food was good but the yucca fries were the stand out. The dip made it taste like mozzarella sticks.

Nearby South Beach. Good food and good service! We came here on a whim after a day of traveling. We started off with thr Croquetas and they were SO good! Best Croquetas that we tried in our trip to Miami! As for the main course, I ordered the Pollo Havana 1957. I enjoyed this dish and it was a ton of protein. Fiance ordered the Fried Snapper Bowl. We both liked his dish as well! Fried fish - can't complain. Inside is super cute and the bar area is a vibe. Their drinks looked so good - the mojitos- I wish I had tried one. Overall, a good spot for a Cuban style lunch.

Food: signature roasted chicken dish, virgin mojito. The chicken was moist and they give you two big pieces with rice, beans and plantains. It was a little salty, but tasty. The virgin mojito was absolutely delicious - perfection!!! Service: top notch, professional service. Ambiance: we sat outside, which I recommend as the inside is small. The bathroom doesn't seem "to code" as to sit on the toilet your shoulder is like literally under the sink. Really awkward and squished. I'll be back for the mojito!!

    Best Ropa Vieja in town!
    Raul M.

Such a quaint little spot right on Española Way! Food was really tasty and the portions fair. Couldn't get enough of that Ropa Vieja!!! Service was good for Miami Beach standards.

My husband and I came to celebrate our pre-anniversary and everything was an experience. Our server had great recommendations for drinks and food but we only decided with the Cuban appetizer combo and a few drinks. Due to the humidity we weren't very hungry but getting the combo was able to introduce us to more Cuban food and it didn't disappoint. The mojitos were a highlight especially with the sugar cane stick. As for the location, it has a high influx of tourists due to it being on española way but there is definitely not a lack of flavor to try and just be another location. You should try this place out if you can.

Corner location with lots of outdoor seating and just a few tables inside

Ask the Community - Havana 1957

    Are reservations required?

    Not really

I went in November last year on a Thursday night to the one in Pembroke Pines and they had live music. Do they still have it, how about on Fridays? Also I saw a sign that said that people born in 1957 would get a special promotion. True?

No live music these when I went on a Friday. But perhaps they'll start that back up soon. Maybe it's a pandemic thing?

Is there any food on HH menu?

Specific drinks only was introduced at reduced rate for happy hour, 3 if I remember correctly. Food was not included.

Does it serve everything on the menu as soon as it opens? I want the chicken and it's 8:40am

Yes. I remember going early and getting the pechuga a la plancha

Trying to make a reservation and the number (1) to reserve won't go through, mailbox full when trying other options. This busy or is this place closed?…

Probably busy. I was at the ocean drive location in November and I highly recommend it because both the service and food were excellent. Saturday's there are Cuban dancers which were very entertaining.

    What days have live music?

    Thursday nights at 7:30PM

How are the Cuban sandwiches? And how are the Trigo (wheat) shakes?

I can tell you about the Cuban Sandwiches....I get the Cubano all the time and it is delicious! Very large and so good! I always ask them to put extra pickles on it though, because they don't put on enough.
