She made a comment when first putting the color on my level 10 bleached hair that it was already grabbing the color. Once she was done, she went into the back room, stayed there for 30 minutes without checking the progress of my color, and finally emerged and put me in a shampoo chair. And I was charged $125 for that and it took all of 10-12 minutes to put on my hair. The shampoo lady spent more time on me than Mickey did. But what really irritated me is that she charged me $50 for a pixie blow dry that took 5 minutes and no styling was needed. I was not told of that cost by anyone. The receptionist told me that she always checks the pricing before charging anyone. But she is a receptionist following what she is told to do. Mickey should have told her to adjust that price given the fact that I have a short pixie. If I had long thick hair that took 15 minutes or more to blow dry, maybe $50 would be worth it, but even that seems excessive. I am apalled. Needless to say, she got no tip!

I moved to Odenton in July of 2017 and just now got a haircut! LOL I called at about 8:40 this morning, surprised to find that they open at 8. I asked for an appointment after noon, and she offered 1:30 - great. I did wait a few minutes for her to finish the client before me, but I could tell she really cares about giving the best possible result, which held true when she spent nearly an hour on my simple wash, cut & style. Sunny is just delightful to talk to, so I enjoyed my time in her chair. The only thing I specified was to keep my bangs just touching my eyebrows, and I am pleased with them being exactly right. I didn't give any other real direction, just shared that I don't like a lot of layers because I like to put my hair up when it gets hot. She told me, "You need a little bit of layers because it's thin," which is true and to which I agreed. Before the first cut, she held up the ends and showed me about 3/4" and said the splits needed that much to come off, and again I agreed. The end result, while not a style I can or would do myself except for special occasions (I don't curl my hair otherwise) is very flattering - my daughter and SIL said so! ;) I'll post an update in a couple of days, after I wash and blow-dry it myself - that is the real test, for me.

Never the less, they delivered exceptional quality and service. This is one of the best places I've ever gone for the process. I was especially impressed when, after the first process, Nikki noticed some stubborn hairs were still curly. Rather than cutting corners, she redid the entire process until it was perfectly smooth and straight. I really appreciate that! (I have had lazy stylists before who try to hide imperfections rather than address them!) I felt like I really got my money's worth here, and it was one of the best jobs anyone has ever done on my hair. I will absolutely be back for a touch up when my perm starts to grow out again! And the price was so reasonable, there's no need for me to stretch it out so long anymore!
