Chicken teriyaki looked really good but I wasn't happy with the sauce. I prefer a sweeter sauce. The shrimp tempura were very oily. The service and ambiance were good.

Was in the area so I stopped in for a junior hibachi chicken bowl to go. The bowl was made quickly and the chicken was flavorful. I appreciated the portion size. Shrimp sauce was great, but the mustard sauce not so much.

Craving for hibachi but needed it quick. So Miyabi it is. Late Friday after work. I made it there by 8pm. They closes at 9pm. Ordered the chicken hibachi with noodles. 3/5. Plenty of chicken. Slightly over cooked since it was a little tough and semi dried out.. But the noodle were a little too saucy and salty for my liking. I prefer more plain noodles. So I'll change that fill next time. All in all. You want a good quick hibachi meal. This is it.. Small selections of sushi. Such as tempura roll etc. nothing fancy. Great customer service and very casual setting . Within walking distance if you live in Tega Cay. I'll try it again and will update my review

I searched for teriyaki chicken near me and Miyabi was recommended. I took the ride down to Tega Cay. The restaurant is in the same group of businesses as the custard shop. The dining room was clean when I entered and there was a nice flow of customers. I placed my order and was happy to hear that they understood what gluten free meant and they accommodated me by using gluten free soy sauce. The bag was a very nice weight when I received. The food I order was filet mignon and shrimp plate, which was $19.99 and a teriyaki chicken bowl, which was $14. They food was a tad salty for my taste, but I will definitely return when the call for teriyaki returns.

I absolutely love this place. The food is always fresh and it's so easy to order online and it's always ready when I arrive after my 18 minute commute to the restaurant! The flavors are always great and it's never dry. I'll always be back!

The food was tasteful. I ordered the hibachi chicken with rice. You literally get what you pay for. For the price the food was fresh cooked at the time ordering. It didn't take long for the servers/service to be delivered to my table. This place has my approbation based on the price and the amount of food that you get. Being that it's my first time here the shrimp sauce was not good. The shrimp sauce is by far the worst of everything on the menu (zero stars for the sauce). Nevertheless, this is my review! Let me know if you y'all have any questions!

Had a to-go order from here. Upon entering they welcome you and makes you feel welcome as well. The person who took my oder also gave nice suggestions. Ordered Veggie rolls to go. The packaging was good and intact. Food was also good tasting and feeling. Overall 4/5

    Hibachi Fillet with Spring Rolls

Overall wasn't a bad experience my hibachi fillet was cooked perfect but they overcooked the spring rolls only real complaint is that they are expensive for being a fast food hibachi place , you can expect about the same price at a normal sit down Japanese Hibachi restaurant . I ate lunch and my bill for only myself was $29.54

Yummy! So glad I decided to try this place. It did not disappoint. The food is made quickly and the portion size is great. I've been here twice now and haven't had a bad experience. The first time I went in to order, the first thing i noticed is how clean, spacious and organized the place was. I also appreciated the automatic hand sanitizer setups in multiple places. Very impressed with my experience here. I ordered the hibachi shrimp plate which comes with rice, broccoli zucchini and onions. The clerk ask me if that was ok and let me know I coil swap out if I like so I chose to sub the zucchini with mushrooms. Plate ran me $13 but it was so much food and it comes with two shrimp sauces and one ginger sauce. It was so hot that when I got home (15 min drive) my food was still warm enough for me to just eat. I'm not a big shrimp sauce girl but the fact that they willingly give you two without asking shocked me. Most places are so stingy when it comes to this. My second visit I decided to do a call in order. The ETA giving to me was 10-15 mins. When I pulled into the parking lot I got a text saying my order was ready. Wow! The text alone was enough for me because I hate when you order food to pickup and they have it done way before the ETA provided and it's just sitting there and your just sitting in the car waiting thinking it's not ready...annoying! Anyways kuddos Miyabi Jr on the text message system. I got chicken and shrimp hibachi this time with only broccoli and mushroom. Delicious again and fair portions of chicken and shrimp. I will definitely be back soon!!

Solid place..... good food, freshly cooked, nice staff, decent pricing, and absolutely spotless inside restaurant, open kitchen and restrooms which always makes me feel better about a restaurant.

I was impressed from atmosphere, friendliness of lady taking of my order on the phone, and taste of the food. I felt the proportions were appropriate, the fried rice great (maybe just a tad heavy on the black pepper), the shrimp were pretty good -medium size, steak very good. Veggies all well seasoned and cooked. I liked all the sauces. Took a bit longer than projected side but that's ok when my food comes out fresh and hot!

With it being my first time back in Fort Mill after sometime, I was ecstatic to see this place show up. Upon entrance, the elevated honeycomb seating on the right immediately caught my eye and I knew I had to sit there. The staff was polite in greeting me and provided recommendations after I sat down. For a drink, I decided to try the POKKA Oolong Tea, which was a toss up on whether I'd enjoy it. It was delicious and settled perfectly with all the food. For an appetizer, I decided to get the Tokoyaki which came in a solid portion and tasted great. For my ramen dish, I opted for a house favorite, Spicy Garlic Ramen with a level 2 heat. The whole dish was a perfect balance of tasty topping, well cooked noodles, and a delicious broth. The pork was so tender and of good quality. All in all, this place has such a wonderful atmosphere for grabbing some food by yourself or with friends. The small plates make for perfect sharing and the seating arrangement breeds a feeling of togetherness so often missing from dining experiences. The staff was so kind and helpful, and I even got to learn a bit about the beauty of Indonesia.

We had a great dinner, but there were three things that kept it from being a 5-star experience. First, the air conditioning. I understand it's a hibachi restaurant and the grills naturally make the dining room warmer, but I've eaten at many hibachi restaurants over the years and have never experienced one this hot. Everyone at our table was sweating, and it became pretty uncomfortable. Second, the appetizer. The salad was fantastic--they certainly didn't skimp on the dressing--and the soup was absolutely delicious. However, the "appetizer" consisted of just two shrimp. Since I ordered the Hibachi Steak & Scallops, two shrimp were a nice addition, but I wouldn't really consider two shrimp an appetizer. My girlfriend ordered the Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp, so her appetizer was simply two more shrimp. It would have been nice to have another appetizer option instead of just adding shrimp to every meal. Third, the chef. The food was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious, but the hibachi experience itself was missing the entertainment. One of the things that makes hibachi special is watching the chef combine excellent cooking with fun tricks, conversation, and interaction with the guests. Our chef prepared the meal well and did the classic onion volcano, but beyond that, he simply cooked. It lacked the energy and engaging performance that I've come to expect from a hibachi restaurant. Those three things aside, the meal itself was outstanding. The salad, soup, steak, scallops, chicken, shrimp, fried rice, and vegetables were all excellent, and the portions were very generous. The friendly staff and delicious food definitely make Fuji worth visiting, and with just a few improvements, it could easily earn that fifth star from me. Overall, I give Fuji 4 stars. My meal came with chicken, and my wife and two kids also got chicken, and it was overcooked for all of us. My father used to have a saying for chicken that was overcooked and dry. He'd call it "milk chicken" because you'd have to take a drink of milk to help you swallow the dry chicken. The chicken from Kochi is definitely milk chicken. The ginger sauce is fantastic. Great flavor and texture. The steak is also overcooked, and requires some hardy teeth and a good drink to get down your throat. The carrots are canned and they're sweet. I don't mind canned carrots, but it's a let down here because it's an odd contrast due to the meat being so hard to eat, but the carrots are mushy. My mouth was like, "What the... Is going on in here!?!" Lastly, the rice. It's fried rice, apparently. Well, it's supposed to be. Though it's also slightly sweet and - get this - has an odd fishiness flavor and smell to it. Ultimately, we paid a bit of money tonight to kochi and now my wife is making something else for dinner, and my two kids are making PB&J's. Me? I sat with a gallon of milk and choked down the meat. So I'm all set. We don't find the need to experiment with an order in the future. This first-time order was all the experience we needed.
