The waiter, Mason was awesome. He has the entire table laughing along with being prompt with the service.

Behold my Daughter before she devours two spider rolls at Miyo's!

While I am, somehow, just now writing a review for Miyo's the truth is my Daughter and I have been going there once a week for the last five years and we Love it! It's kind of an Asian Fusion place with lots of Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese items. When I go with Gogo, we always do sushi. Our favorites are the spider and rainbow rolls. The quality is unmatched in the city of Columbia. When I go with my partner we generally gets Kung Pao Chicken which they will make as mild or spicy as you want it. I also think Miyo's has the best chicken fried rice I've ever had..., try it with a little plum sauce and it's next level. All the servers are friendly and know the menu. There is a small bar up front with 4-5 seats, featuring interesting Asian beers and a full bar setup. The places is nice on the inside so it's a good fit for a date but not so fancy you can't show up in flip flops. Also there is tons of seating so if you need a place that will seat you and a big party with little notice on the weekend, Miyo's is your best bet in the city.

Loved the beef satay and the sushi rolls we ate.

Service was great, everything we ordered was good. The location and parking wasn't great though.

Saturday nite 1/9/21 around 6pm. Delightful dinner and atmosphere. Much improved since the last time we ate here. Definitely an improvement since they seem to have recently remodeled. Appetizers were the vegetable spring rolls and the crab rangoon. Both were exc ellent. Main course was combo sushi and sashimi with mild fish requested from the chef. Wife enjoyed that tremendously and ate all of it. Mine was the Szechuan chicken/shrimp lo-mein which was probably the best I have ever had. Service was good, but he seems a little rushed. He mellowed out a little as dinner progressed. Still five stars. 1 beer and 1 glass of wine included with dinner, and the total before tax and tip was under $58. Will definitely be back.

I had not been to Milo's in years since I moved to Los Angeles. The food was still as good as I remembered. I shared the vegetable tempura as the appetizer and then I had the chicken sesame with brown rice. The helping at dinner is so large I could have shared. Instead I brought it back to the house to have as leftovers. The service was great. I also had hot green tea. The place was so large and full that it was as a little louder than I would like but we were still able to have conversations at the table.

The atmosphere was amazing, a cozy quaint spot in a what seemed to be a great part of the city. The bar was nice and overall decor of the restaurant was eclectic without feeling overdone. Our server (I believe her name was Havvy), was pleasant as well. We started with the crab rangoons and spring rolls. The crab rangoons were a 10/10, and the spring rolls were solid as well. I'd definitely order both again. I ordered the pad kapow, which is my go-to dish I like to start with at any new Thai restaurant. The presentation of the rice was really cute and the dish itself was rich and full of flavor. My husband ordered the pineapple fried rice with beef, it was phenomenal, just as flavorful and satisfying. We ordered cocktails as well, which were made perfectly, and since it was our anniversary, we treated ourself to the coconut cake. After the first bite, I wasn't sure about the cake, but by the second bite I was SOLD. If you're looking for a laidback, non-pretentious spot to enjoy a great meal, cocktails or even just a small bite, I definitely recommend.

Pros: - Fair prices (it is considered "fancier") - Fun cocktails - Food was great - Seating was nice and spaced out (not super close to anyone) - Cons: - Food Menu was typical for Thai I'd overall recommend KAO. It's in a great location for downtown (super close to the beginning of mainstreet) and it's a fun little date night. I had the drunken noodles with chicken and my date had shrimp/chicken padthai. They were both really solid. Not like...amazingly phenomenal, but a really tasty dinner. I recently went to 929 and was glad to not be sitting right beside someone. It was nice to be able to have a conversation without hearing other people's.

The breakfast burritos were delicious, the yogurt bowl was yummy plenty of fruit. The S'mores latte was delicious. The service was good , nothing exciting. So for this part of the review everything was good. (I had ordered the tres Leche pancakes because I was intrigued. When I got the tres leche pancakes I very disappointed there was no taste of tres leche anywhere on those pancakes , all I could taste was regular plain pancakes with syrup , it does come with plantains those were pretty good . I had thought that maybe they would put some tres leche in between the pancakes themselves. But no they were very dry. And the waiter didn't even give me the bacon that came with my pancakes ,I had to ask for it and if i didn't get the bacon.I would have been charged for the bacon . Waiter needs to be more aware of what comes with the plates. Anyway don't order the tres leche pancakes you will be disappointed. No stars for this experience) Overall the restaurant was nice and the other food we got was good.

The chips, quesadilla,…read morefries, and tacos I got were pretty average as compared to other Mexican restaurants, and nothing about them really stood out. In addition, my waitress was nice, but I would've liked it if she was a tad more attentive. Although I didn't drink on this occasion, I've been to Publico in the past, and I will say that their margaritas are much better than comparable Mexican places. So, perhaps if you're looking for a Mexican place that has good drinks rather than great food, Publico seems like a nice option. As for the ambiance, it was a cool place. It was dimly lit, and they had TVs all over the back wall where you could watch the day's sporting events. The bar looked like it had a cool vibe as well, and they have a back patio that's perfect for outside dining. All-in-all, I'd probably go back and recommend Publico for drinks and ambiance, but would likely head elsewhere if I'm looking for great Mexican food.

Even with the Friday night rush, the hostess was warm and welcoming and got us seated quickly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. Our waitress was outstanding. She was attentive without being overbearing, checked on us consistently, and helped guide us through the menu with great recommendations. We started with the lobster spring rolls and a salmon roll. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with large chunks of lobster -- not skimpy at all. The salmon roll was some of the freshest sushi I've had in a long time. For my entrée, I ordered the walnut shrimp. The shrimp were gigantic, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was so good I literally slapped the table. No shame. We will absolutely be back. If you're looking for great Asian fusion with excellent service and fresh ingredients, Antai delivers.

We ordered won tons and sweet and sour soup, General Tso's chicken, Bourbon Chicken, Broccoli and Chicken, Another Chicken dish, Thom Yum soup and a seaweed salad. Our friend didn't like the taste of her Bourbon chicken (and at first thought they served her the wrong dish). The friend with the soup and won-tons liked it a lot. The General Tso's chicken was also said to be good, as was the Broccoli Chicken. My Thom Yum soup didn't fare that well. I thought it tasted like it had too much lime in it. I usually have had Thom Yum with a shrimp or two, but this was with chicken. It had a little bit of a bite but was not near as good as I've had in other restaurants. I wasn't a fan of the seaweed salad. I had three friends order that here the last time I was in and they all raved about it. I'd never tried it, so it was a first for me. I guess I'm just not into it. Overall, everyone had varied ratings of the place so I'll give it a 3.0 for the group. Amongst us I think the ratings went from 1.5 to 4. Another issue is that two of us got our main meals at one time. Then another two after a few minutes, but the last two got served probably 7-8 minutes after the table was initially served.

They were impressed with the look and ambience. The waitress was quick to take our drink orders and came back shortly to take our lunch orders. Great pricing...most of the lunch specials are $8.95. We ordered quite a variety off the menu. A couple of the spicy Tangerine chicken with rice or fried rice, General Tso's Chicken, Beef with Broccoll, Spicy Thai Chicken wings and an order of "sea weed" (which was great according to the one that ordered it, Udon Noodles, Miso Soup, Egg rolls and spring rolls. Everyone thought the food was great. There was a lot of food and i thought I could've shared the tangerine chicken and rice. I had the fried rice and it was good. I had a couple of comments saying that they would've like a little more heat on the entree. I noticed that they don't have the little red "hot pepper" icon by any of their meals. Another Tangerine Chicken guy said he would've liked more heat, as did the spicy Chicken Wing guy! I tried a cup of miso soup, as I usually do when I go to Japanese/Asian restaurants and found it not as good as others I've had. Not sure what it was, but it seemed to be more of a cream color than what I normally get. That was my only complaint. Overall rating for the group was a 4.4. I heard many of them say the would be back.
