Service was fast and accurate. We ordered habachi and a mango shrimp sushi roll - delicious! We had a nice experience. Celebrated a birthday and they brought out a huge deep fried ice cream ball on the house - super cool! Lots of seating and the dim lighting offers a great vibe!

Hubs waiting for his California Roll & Naruto Special Roll

The hubs really likes this place. This one is our go to sushi place when we're shopping in the area or when we want to be close to home. Decor and service are not the most fancy but the stars are for the food. Sushi is always fresh and tasty. We do enjoy their Bento Box happy hour prices which serves a good portion of whichever entree you choose. Hubs likes steak and I like teriyaki veggies. Super tasty! We will continue to recommend this little gem.

Insanely good deals. All rolls (even the specialty rolls) were BOGO. Sake was also BOGO! Not sure how long this deal is going on for as I see it is for their anniversary. Rolls were pretty great and well made especially for the price even before the BOGOs. Service was kind of rushed and ambiance was kinda chaotic with the hibachi. Overall pretty good but we went on a busy Saturday night. Lots of kids weirdly.

Great prices and quick service for pick up order. The yellowtail is my favorite, my kid loved the crab roll.

Great place to enjoy a great family celebration. It's open space helps you feel comfortable. The chef's were full of energy and entertainment was great. The food was pretty good. The rush of ordering from the waitress was a bit surprising. The rest of the staff was friendly though.

Mizu is cool! It reminded me of Kobe's, I love that we don't have to do the Hibachi show if we don't want to. There had some good food options, I was not a fan of the rice but the noodles and chicken/steak were pretty good. Soup and salad were pretty decent! Service was nice and good came out super fast which is great I was so hungry. Restaurant was okay inside a little plain inside.

We went in during the week and it was not too busy. Really cute inside. We chose to sit at a regular table instead of the hibachi area. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Some of us ordered sushi and others hibachi. For appetizers we had fried pork gyoza and they weren't as crispy as I like but still good. Also has the crab Rangoon and it really didn't have any crab it was all cream cheese which was still good but disappointing. The sushi was delicious so that made up for the appetizers. The hibachi was ok. The meat and chicken was good but veggies was pretty much mostly zucchini (was missing the carrots and broccoli; only had 2 pieces at most) the rice and noodles were a little bland. Not sure if it's because we didn't sit at the hibachi table but I felt like it needed flavor. The miso soup was good but the salad dressing they used also felt like it was flavorless. So if I were to go again I would probably skip out on hibachi and stick with the sushi. They also were having happy hour deals on drinks so that was a bonus!

    Chicken Chicken Teriyaki Dinner Bento

Little bit dirty. Could use a degreaser to get the stickiness off of the tables and floors. Needs a deep clean. It was lunchtime. My daughter (14} and I wanted to get a quick bite so we ordered the chicken bento box and the steak with extra shrimp bento box. The chicken was ok. I could not eat the steak. Something was off with the flavor of the meat. Perhaps a bad cut. I asked my daughter to taste it, she didn't eat the entire bite size strip either so I put it to the side. The shrimp was ok. The veggies underneath were ok. It was just doused with teriyaki sauce it seemed. The sushi, which was just a regular roll that goes in a bento box, was just ok. No texture. We also ordered gyoza which were delicious. The miso soup was good. The salad was ok but it was doused in the ginger dressing. It wasn't the best dressing. Not fresh. It was disappointing for the $70 I paid (84 with tip). We do not eat out that much because I enjoy cooking so when I do I at least want it to be good and worth my time and money. Very disappointed.

Love their mango sushi shrimp tempura, it's by far my favorite sushi roll that they have. You should definitely try it out! The ambiance is cozy! Service was okay, not completely waitress' fault because she was the only one serving eight tables. Obviously they were short staffed. I don't know what type of management would have one server serving eight tables, instead of calling in backup. Who in their right mind would think that in this scenario she was going to meet all her client's needs. Their manager needs to be reconsidered because that's just bad business.

    Hibachi Combination
    Jennifer R.

Stopped by with a group of friends for hibachi on a Tuesday night. It was pretty busy, so I'm glad we had made reservations. The hibachi "show" was entertaining and funny at parts! Unfortunately that only lasted about the first 5 min, but then chef's energy seemed to die bc the show kind of stopped and we silently watched him cook for the remainder of time lol. I ordered the hibachi combo of 3. Most of the food was flavored decently (except my steak & the watery salad-- those were flavorless) & all my protein (steak, shrimp and chicken) were overcooked/dry/chewy. I think my combo was $28 and I got a lot of food, so plenty for leftovers. I'm glad I went, but wouldn't be my first choice for a hibachi dinner.

I have been coming here for years. I haven't tried the hibachi but the sushi menu is delicious. Food is consistently good: try the FujiYama roll! Service when dining in or taking to go is very good.

It was the cutest mizu we've been to! The habachi room is dimly lit and it gives such a cool atmosphere!!!! Service was quick and food was PHENOMENAL!!!! The hibachi chef was hilarious and a great shot when it came to the egg toss lol overall 10/10! The server was prompt and on top of everything too. A big shout out to the front desk man, he took a photo of us! Thank you staff! You are appreciated.

Drinks were very slow. Food was very slow. All but one food item was cold. All steaks overcooked. Not even close. Salmon overcooked. Not even close No chimichurri for steak. No gravy for chicken and gravy. No green beans. No vegetables. We didn't know any of that ahead of time. When our food arrived, the sauces and sides didn't come out with the food. When they went back to get them, they had no sauces and no vegetables/green beans. The chicken and gravy Father's Day special had no gravy, the steak chimichurri had no chimichurri. No warning from the kitchen and waitress was sent out to tell us. Solution to all of it was to give us a $3 discount on the individual items, the steak and the chicken and gravy. It's hard to explain how exceptionally slow, cold and overcooked the food was. Seemed like one server, one manager and one cook at the restaurant. Wouldn't have written the review if they were even somewhat understanding of how bad things were. The $3 off was incredibly token especially for Father's Day meal where we spent upwards of $500. Just didn't want anyone else having the experience we did.

We ended up parking in the back and walking up to the front. However walking in I got a very modern vibe. Our server was very nice. My Spanish was not as strong as I'd like it to be but I tried lol. We got the Metamorphosis cocktails (tequila, vodka, berries, thyme syrup, passionfruit, butterfly ice) to start. These were really strong and very tasty. The butterfly ice I believe is like a butterfly pea flower ice ball which added some floral notes to it. We shared the Mofonguitos Trio (chicken, shrimp, steak, garlic white sauce, pink sauce, ell sauce on top) minus the steak as they didn't have it available, so it was 2 chicken and 1 shrimp. The chicken was pulled and the shrimp were jumbo. But that sauce blend? That made everything taste amazing. I wanted the Pulpo A La Brasa (grilled spanish octopus, malanga mash, pico de gallo, cherry tomatoes) but they were out of that day. I was sad but I ended up getting the same thing my babe got, the Salmon Caribeno (pan seared crispy skin Alaskan salmon, passion fruit sauce, pico de gallo) with a side of Malanga (root vegetable) mash. That mash tho! OMG that was so delicious! I think I'd rather eat that than potatoes for the rest of my life. They also covered it with cheese which didn't do anything to the flavor, but I won't reject cheese on anything. The salmon came out in two filets smothered in that passion fruit sauce, omg. Again, the sauce was everything. For his dessert he got the Duo Exotico cocktail (vodka, strawberry, tropical sweet Basil, oleo saccharum). This was too strong for me but A+ for the presentation, which was a bug shaped glass. This turned out to be a pretty expensive meal and if we come again we'll be mindful and not get lost in the sauce.

I was about 25 minutes away, when I took my family here, and they were wondering where we were going, but let me tell you, they were not disappointed by the food, service and the surround area. When we arrived, it seemed like a downtown area that was kind of chill because it was a Tuesday early evening. Barely any traffic around and tons of open parking, especially right in front to the restaurant. From the front I noticed some funny signs, a patio that was wide open for seating, yard games and a nice cozy dive bar vibe. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted at the counter by our server. It was not busy, there was actually only one customer sitting at the bar. The bar has about 6 seats and has TVs to watch and the restaurant if filled with tons of cool Classic Rock pictures, memorabilia and quotes. It was just the vibe we needed to just hang as a family. The server allowed us to pick any table we wanted. We ordered margaritas. They were delicious. We also has the RIBS, okra, mac & cheese, potato salad, some greens, cornbread, brisket, grilled cheese sandwich and fries. EVERYTHING, including the SERVICE was on point; we left well fed, satisfied and happy we found this place to eat tonight. To walk off the food , there is a park right across the street. At the park you will find food trucks for dessert, like ice cream on a hot day. There's also a walking trail and a play ground for the kiddos. There was an area where people were fishing off the doc. I saw an area where people also get married and a facility for our veterans. I included some pictures of what I saw along my way after I left the restaurant for people looking for things to do in the area with a family and/or friends. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant for some good eats, drinks and just a place to relax and have a good time. There's also service is great and the area is filled with things to do afterwards. Thank me later.
