Nice little place hid in a strip mall. You order at the counter and they will bring it to ya. Seems most business is carry out as that was very brisk. Service was very friendly. Neat little place. The miso was out immediately while they made the poke bowl. The soup was tasty with quite a bit of seaweed. The poke bowl was a nice size and was as tasty as it was pretty. They have fountain drinks and some bottle drinks. I needed water to hydrate after the day's adventures. Definitely someplace to put on my will return list if I am back in the area. read more

We were out shopping and were starving so we decided to stop in here for some lunch one day. What a nice choice! I had the poki bowl which was fresh and tasty, and my boyfriend had one of the chicken dishes. The food came out quickly and his was nice and warm. Stopped by for lunch here because I didn't know if I wanted sushi or hibatchi.. they have a pretty good menu with poke bowls, bento boxes, sushi, hibatchi and more! I went to register and ordered and paid. Then I sat and she brought my food to table when it was ready. I could not believe the size of the shrimp! I even got a white sauce! Tonight's meal was not good. My son and I stopped in for something really quick before a show. I ordered a chicken hibachi salad and he ordered the steak and chicken hibachi. It came to $29.00. My salad was literally just lettuce with chicken on top of it covered in oil. The bottom of the salad bowl had a liquid that wasn't a suave. My stomach automatically started hurting because I am not used to eating things with oil other than EVOO. My son's hibachi was just so blah and average. I don't how these two items came to $29.00. There are other local places that are heavenly with half that price for really great quality. The manager did give us some watermelon for free which was nice but it was so overpriced for the mediocre quality. read more

We usually do take out and it's easy to order, always ready fast, and the food is always hot and fresh.

Too much food, but that's typical with Bento box lunches. I ordered the sesame chicken, which was fine but too sweet with the sauce. Absolutely nothing wrong with the preparation, I just forgot that it's a sweet dish, and I lean towards savory dishes. The California roll has perfectly ripe avocado. I wish it had tobiko. The two dumplings had good flavors. The Bento box also had an egg roll, which I felt wasn't needed in the box, plus it was more of a Chinese egg roll. The salad was nicely chilled. I always enjoy the dressing on the salad. This place is along the lines of a fast food joint but with well-prepared dishes at reasonable prices. You get your meal pretty quickly. A few people came in for take out orders. Next time I go, I'm going to try one of their poke bowls. read more

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. The kids enjoyed the chicken and noodles. I had the hibachi chicken. It was good but the fried rice had an after taste. The white sauce is 50 cents per additional cup and was tasty but a bit on the watery side. We ordered the two entrees and an order of vegetable spring rolls. Our order was approximately 30.00. Always consistent with the food but if you get mixed vegetables with your hibachi ask for no cabbage or that's all you will taste.

We went in a party of three for lunch hours. Two of us got the hibachi chicken lunch special with fried rice, and the other got orange chicken with white rice. We also got the lunch sushi of the eel cucumber and the salmon cream cheese rolls to share among the three of us. While the food was just your usual hibachi and sushi, it was very delicious and well cooked. Also I was surprised with how much I liked the salmon cream cheese roll, as it usually isn't my most desirable type of sushi. I also found the food to be pretty affordable. I do have to warn, however, there is very little seating. We were lucky enough to get the only outdoor table as there was a bit of a line, so you might have to just eat in your car or just get takeout. I noticed that there were tables that were put out of the way, so the small amount of seating may be due to social distancing measures. Nonetheless, all three of us enjoyed our time, and we would love to come back next we are in Wilmington. read more

Ok after eating my meal I can say it was really good . Ate my sushi roll up 1st. Eel was fresh rice was cooked good. I ate it all and it was enjoyable. My salad was next crisp fresh salad which I love, only thing I can say it ginger dressing was very watery, but I drank it up lol. The hibachi shrimp was good too not my all time fav but I would order it again very filling only could eat half, but will definitely eat the rest later. We've been here four times now, and each time is the same, excellent! The place is super clean, the staff are very friendly and the food is fantastic. For the person who said, "The last thing Wilmington needed was another Japanese/Chinese/hibachi/sushi place, and this one isn't any better than the other 100 that we already have." I say, this is so much better than many we've tried. If you don't like all these places then don't go! The last time we got food from here, we also picked some up to drop off for our daughter. After several months of Covid temporarily shutting down many restaurants, I had been craving Chinese or Japanese or any form of Asian cuisine. I finally took the opportunity to try them as soon as they were back open. I'm sad I waited so long before, because the food is excellent! The hibachi chicken and shrimp is my go-to order. The shrimp is cooked perfectly and everything isn't swimming in a sauce. Its a very good balance of protein, vegetables, and rice! I have also tried their sushi, which is good as well! I have been twice including today. Both times the food was fresh and delicious. Presentation is important for me when eating Japanese food and this place does a really nice job. The portions were just right and i think for the money its a good value. I have had the tuna and salmon and both tasted very fresh. The smoked eel was great too. My favorite are the poke bowls. This may seem like a biased review because I work here, but the food at this establishment is delicious. I ate there 4-5 days a week, and it is always delicious. My favorite is the Steak Hibachi with white rice and vegetables. Though, I often get the Gyoza too! The entire restaurant is entirely clean, and the whole kitchen is in view of the customer so they can see how clean it is. We have MANY regular customers, the bosses are super friendly, and the food is all made to order. Everything we make is fresh and it helps add to the deliciousness of the food. :) read more

Great little place. I'm new in town and was next door at Target. The menu is small but has all the comfort foods you'd look for in a Japanese "fast food" place. Gyoza, edamame, sushi, and Hibachi. I just wanted a quick lunch so I went with steak hibachi. It came with grilled veggies and fried rice. It was cooked great. I always worry that my steak is going to be chewy but this was not. Everything had a really nice flavor. The veggies had a good crunch. I'm glad I found this place. We ordered take out, the current only option. It was ready in 15 minutes, 40 min faster than a nearby Asian restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh. It was certainly not the best best but a solid B. The specialty rolls were above average and the eel roll was below average. Be aware that the pictures of the menu seem outdated and we ended up paying about 20% more than expected. read more
