Ordered three of the four special rolls- Eel Dragon Roll, Super Crunch Roll, and Tiger Eye Roll. All three were well made and hit the mark for taste, but they were extremely small for being 14.95 each. If the rolls were bigger, we would absolutely return

How is this place not packed? For sure for of the best Asian cuisine in town. My wife and I got the hibachi. We will for sure be coming back

Fantastic! Uber-clean!! Super fresh sushi & delicious hibachi. Stopped here as it was convenient & man, were we surprised to find AMAZING food in a SUPER CLEAN environment...this is going to be a new "regular" for us. Also fair prices, I'll always pay a little more when the quality is there....but these prices were similar to all other sushi places we've tried and superior quality (must mention our other go-to "umaii" as it's on the north end in porters neck - so depending on your location either of these is a solid choice). Vegan options & non-sushi options available. Attentive & professional service!

Stopped by for lunch here because I didn't know if I wanted sushi or hibatchi.. they have a pretty good menu with poke bowls, bento boxes, sushi, hibatchi and more! I went to register and ordered and paid. Then I sat and she brought my food to table when it was ready. I could not believe the size of the shrimp! I even got a white sauce! If wanting more sauce it's .50 each so I made due with what I had. It was really good. Wasn't very crowed at all.. has about 10-12 tables inside and only 4 other people were eating in. The couple next to me had miso soup which I love!! Looked pretty good too! I'd like to come back try few new things..

Tonight's meal was not good. My son and I stopped in for something really quick before a show. I ordered a chicken hibachi salad and he ordered the steak and chicken hibachi. It came to $29.00. My salad was literally just lettuce with chicken on top of it covered in oil. The bottom of the salad bowl had a liquid that wasn't a suave. My stomach automatically started hurting because I am not used to eating things with oil other than EVOO. My son's hibachi was just so blah and average. I don't how these two items came to $29.00. There are other local places that are heavenly with half that price for really great quality. The manager did give us some watermelon for free which was nice but it was so overpriced for the mediocre quality.

BEST miso soup I have had in 11 years I have lived here in Wilmington. Service is great as always. Cleanest Asian restaurant and smells clean, too!

Too much food, but that's typical with Bento box lunches. I ordered the sesame chicken, which was fine but too sweet with the sauce. Absolutely nothing wrong with the preparation, I just forgot that it's a sweet dish, and I lean towards savory dishes. The California roll has perfectly ripe avocado. I wish it had tobiko. The two dumplings had good flavors. The Bento box also had an egg roll, which I felt wasn't needed in the box, plus it was more of a Chinese egg roll. The salad was nicely chilled. I always enjoy the dressing on the salad. This place is along the lines of a fast food joint but with well-prepared dishes at reasonable prices. You get your meal pretty quickly. A few people came in for take out orders. Next time I go, I'm going to try one of their poke bowls.

We decided to try this place because of the good reviews. I was craving crab rangoons. Plus, this looked like it would be fast and it was. We went with the crab rangoons, hibachi shrimp and General Tso's Chicken. Everything was good but the Tao's could have been spicier. There was plenty of chicken but I wanted more broccoli. Same with the hibachi - needed more veggies. It's not a fancy place but I'd come back for fast takeout again.

It had been awhile since we visited Mizuki Japan so tonight we went with a full spread. You can find them across the street from the large "bullseye logo" store on New Centre Dr. Always fresh ingredients...always simple, quick and delish! Thank you for a great dinner and at a ridiculous value once again! - Hibachi Steak with Fried Rice - Spicy Tuna & Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl - General Tso's Chicken

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. The kids enjoyed the chicken and noodles. I had the hibachi chicken. It was good but the fried rice had an after taste. The white sauce is 50 cents per additional cup and was tasty but a bit on the watery side. We ordered the two entrees and an order of vegetable spring rolls. Our order was approximately 30.00. Seems like the prices have gone up, this is my first time eating here since Covid so it's been a few years.

I got the salmon bowl and it was SO GOOD! I normally don't like seaweed salad, but it tasted so fresh here.. the restaurant is kept very neat and clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. I would definitely go back, the poke was the best I've had in a very long time!

Upon entering restaurant it's very clean and bright. Easy ordering prices reasonable ordered hibachi and a sushi roll. Going home to eat then finish review... Ok after eating my meal I can say it was really good . Ate my sushi roll up 1st. Eel was fresh rice was cooked good. I ate it all and it was enjoyable. My salad was next crisp fresh salad which I love, only thing I can say it ginger dressing was very watery, but I drank it up lol. The hibachi shrimp was good too not my all time fav but I would order it again very filling only could eat half, but will definitely eat the rest later. Also had the miso soup which was pretty good too. Overall a great place to go for quick meal

Always consistent with the food but if you get mixed vegetables with your hibachi ask for no cabbage or that's all you will taste.

First one in and I walked from the hotel Lela only 1/2 mile away. At the recommendation of my super sweet server I tried the fire cracker shrimp which was a regular specialty on he table placard. I also noticed the cod miso which intrigued me so I order it. What brought in though was the Hamichi Kama which I ordered also. On top of this they brought out a black seaweed/gyoza sample. The. On top of that since it is my birthday week they brought me the green tea mocha. Wow to say I am stuff was an understatement. So since this was a progressive ordering situation which I created the food came out sort of mish mash. I started with black seaweed / gyoza sampler. It was awesome. I would have ordered more had I not already ordered . Then I moved on to the bang bang shrimp. 8 breaded shrimp with their version of bang bang sauce. Plump shrimp with a chili sauce. Not bad. The sauce was just a chili style sauce and so left some to be desired. Then the cod miso came out. Wow. Super hot and had actual chunks of cod and veggies in it. Very good. Then the Hamichi Kama which came out. Amazing. I had this before in Japan and in West Virginia. Amazing. Definitely a recommend. Then they brought out the green tea mochi with green tea ice cream. It was the best I have ever had. Amazing meal definitely needed the walk back to try and walk some of it off. The restaurant is small and reservations are highly recommended. Definitely worth the trouble and I plan to return in the future to try some other items.

We were greeted immediately and the servers and chef said welcome in Japanese. We were given warm towels for our hands and it's really a great way to start a meal; it makes you feel revitalized. The inside is nice; they had traditional Japanese music playing in the background so it really set the tone. There are some tables, booths and a counter so you have options on where you can sit. The decor is nice with the lucky cat and other fun decorations. The waitress took our order with a smile on her face and asked us if we wanted recommendations on any of the products or food. She was knowledgeable on the menu and showed real enthusiasm with our questions. I could see the chef preparing the food was clearly skilled and so I did go with what the chef recommended. Before our appetizers, they brought us a complimentary side dish of edamame beans in seaweed salad which was refreshing. Then our appetizers came. We ordered Miso Soup, Garden Salad, California Rolls, Spring Rolls and Pork Gyoza. I had a few of The Pork Gyoza which was cooked perfectly. Crispy at first and then quickly melts in your mouth; was nice and hot too. My family told me the California Rolls and Garden Salad were yummy too. Then the entrees came out and they exceeded our expectations. My family that had the Chicken Fried Rice said it was delicious. One got the Grilled Salmon Dinner and another a Crunchy Roll I believe; they really enjoyed their dishes. My family that ordered the Sushi Platter liked his too (Philadelphia Rolls, Fire Cracker Rolls, Matt's Special and I believe some Salmon Rolls). I had gotten the Chef's recommended, which was two pieces of Yellowtail (Hamachi) and I believe Tuna (Kama-Toro). It was incredibly fresh; among the freshest nigiri I have ever had. I also then ordered their Fire Cracker Roll and that was very good; if you like something with a bit of spice you will love it. We wanted dessert but were too full; just gives us another reason to go back! Genki has something for everyone. Japanese comfort food, Sushi, Sashimi, Nigiri and more. If you haven't already gone, it's time to go; you won't be disappointed! Until next time! じゃあね!

First time we had waited 1 hour for our first tray of sushi to come out and had to ask the bartender to check for our food while the manager was aware and kind of scuffed.second time we went was faster service but still had to wait 40 Minutes for our trays of sushi. Our last time going July 23rd was met by a dirty sticky table then we were asked to move to another and then they sat someone else there without wiping it down. we watched as a table of 9 was able to all be served there 4 course hibachi meal and their server check on them over 5-6 times within the time of us still just having our waters after almost an hour of waiting we did finally get our seaweed salad (cold) no needing to be cooked without silverware or chopsticks to the point where we went to the front and asked why it's taking so long and why we watched a whole table of 9 get finished and almost leaving and also the tables near us that arrived 20 minutes later than us get their sushi trays . They checked to see if it was done we continued to wait another 20 minutes now a total of 1 hour 30 minutes and finally got our first tray of sushi. The night continued to just be an exhausted wait to the point where we just wanted to leave and our appetite just wasn't there anymore . We have only continued going because they are the only ones that do our favorite sushi rolls with such terrible service each time that we know what to expect now and since there's such disregard from management they really don't care . We overheard our waitress saying to the table next to us our sushi is backed up (you guys know the drill here ) right after we had complained to the front desk about such a long wait and drive in total it's just not worth it . If you do choose to go here , expect a 30 min -1 hour wait to be seated , then once you're seated expect another 45-1 hour of wait on food and hoping you still Have an appetite after waiting so long .

I have only two experiences in sushi restaurants in Wilmington. Both were excellent experiences. We were immediately served at the bar and well taken care of by Savannah while waiting for our party. My husband ordered a vodka soda with lime - perfection ...tasted like a sprite. I had a sweet unfiltered cold sake- love how it was displayed on a bucket of ice. Our party of 7 were placed in the back and most of them were already familiar with the restaurant. Some of them had vegan entrees and the tofu, rice, & vegetable entrees they ordered looked plentiful and delicious. Some ordered sesame chicken or seafood. They all looked colorful and delicious. My husband ordered a bang bang spicy shrimp appetizer. Very well cooked and filling. I had escolar sashimi - tasted like melt in your mouth fatty tuna with a buttery texture. I ordered the Super Toro Roll: Spicy tuna, avocado, tempura flake top with blue fin toro, jalapeno sauce, chili oil, fish roe and scallions . It was a scrumptious & large specialty roll. It was more than I expected - high in taste, quality, and quantity. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. She refilled our drinks & expedited our meals in a swift manner. I was told there were two Nori restaurants were in Wilmington, yet this was the better of both restaurants. We enjoyed our time here and plan to visit Nori at this location again.

I don't usually write reviews but this has happened too many times and the "we're sorry" or "we'll give you a $10 coupon" isn't enough. The past 4 orders have constantly missed something we've both paid for and requested verbally whether we picked up the to go order or go through Uber Eats. This time it was the fried rice, last time the Yum Yum sauce, before that the sushi roll, etc. I called and asked for the manager, Jackson. He apologized like they've done everytime and then offered a $10 coupon for next time. Sorry I want my fried rice. I've ordered from Lucky Star for 15 years and they've never forgot rice or sauce or anything. I then asked for the owner just to let everyone aware before leaving a bad review. Jackson immediately replied that "you're not going to like my answer she's out of the country for the next few months"....he was right that's not the answer I wanted...I wanted my rice! Just another example how bad management & leadership will lead to bad service. It's a shame cause the food (when you get what you ordered) is good. I would highly recommend against ordering online unless you're ok getting a "we're sorry excuse" when your food that you paid for doesn't show up.
