Stopped at Bent Rim Grill last Friday on our way back from the Nueces River, and it hit the spot…read more We got the hot chicken sandwich topped with bacon, loaded with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions, plus an order of fried pickle spears. The chicken was crispy, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out hot and fresh. The fried pickle spears were crispy on the outside and went great with the ranch. We also had a root beer and a whiskey/Diet Coke to go with everything. Really good little stop after a day at the river--casual, filling, and tasty. We'd definitely stop at Bent Rim Grill again next time we're out that way.

When the guy behind the register read back the order to me, just from that, I absolutely knew I created a masterpiece. Luckily, the guy in the kitchen brought it life just as I imagined it! Absolute must: the sourdough jalapeno cheese bun. Really, every bite I thought, oh this really is a tasty bun. Two, count 'em two, patties, American cheese, bacon, and their own sauce. Man, so freaking good. Call this burger The Beast and get it on the board, baby! Had the sweet potato waffle fries, the onion rings, and the tots, and I would rate them just in that order. For a July day in TX we got super lucky and it was 80° so we sat outside (which I normally despise) and it was perfect. Could have spent the whole afternoon there!

Pretty nice to have a place serving up 2 of Texas's favorites!…read more I went with the Gladiator and made it a triple. They are smash-style burgers with some interesting toppings to make each one truly unique. I found the meat to be seasoned perfectly and cooked just right! Wife got the fish and chips and rated the fish higher than some places more well known for their fish. The vinegar fries weee good too! Nana got 2 different tacos and the beef one was top notch! Different than the usual San Antonio flavors but very very good. Gal at the counter was awesome and very friendly!

We ordered the capoeira burger as a small combo. Also ordered one each of the following tacos: luchador fish, karate shrimp, and capoeira steak. The burger my friend ordered: she said it was good, but could have used a little more seasoning. (Ordered without the white cheddar). The fries were very good, hit and crispy. Not warm and soggy. The three tacos in order of my personal favorites: karate shrimp, capoeira steak, and luchador fish. The karate shrimp aside from the fact it had wasabi and I don't normally like wasabi, it pairs very well with the shrimp in this case. It was flavorful, the shrimp were a good size, meaty, and delicious. The capoeira steak was good. Flavorful, not chewy, and also paired with the Parmesan-onion crisp, made it. The fish taco was good, but it was a bit fishy for my taste. The service was friendly and nice. The place is very clean. I would like to go back to try the burger myself and some of the other items on the menu.
