This place is new so we decided to give it a try. The decor is funny in a good way. We tried the Gladiator Burger, which has truffle aioli, Parmesan-onion crisp, lettuce, truffle dust, bacon and white cheddar. The presentation was great. The burger itself was juicy, though very thin. The flavor was very hard to put a finger on. It wasn't bad at all - it just wasn't there - a flavor was missing and we just couldn't figure out what that flavor should be. We tried the K.O Steak Taco who is a tortilla filled with arrochera (fajita), cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo and hot matcha. The tortilla was perfect - soft and just the right thickness. Again - the flavors were just a bit off - not bad - just not 'there' We also tried the All American BBQ Taco which was a tortilla, filled with pulled pork, bbq sauce, nappa slaw and pickled onion. This taco was perfect - great flavor, juicy and just very good flavors. Finally, we tried the Nashville Chicken Fries which was a pan of thin fries, covered with comeback sauce and with three Nashville style fried chicken strips on top. The chicken strips were perfectly prepared with great crispiness and flavor. The fries themselves were prepared well - crispy but not overdone. So I went here with one of my partners and there was only two guys working. Wait time was high. And the food was kinda expensive. The place is kinda small but clean. ALL THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! IT WAS WORTH IT. The al pastor taco especially. This was the most tender al pastor I've ever had. I didn't really have to chew, it just melted. Found out about this place through FaceBook and decided to try it out! The business was easy to find and parking was decent since it was in a small shopping area. Once inside, you could tell this place was new, and the artwork was awesome since it was various pictures of tacos fighting burgers. They had various options to choose from and the employee helped with suggestions. I ended up ordering the Kung Fu Burger, Gladiator Burger, Lucha Libre Pastor Taco, All-American BBQ Taco, Chicken Strips, and Nashville Chicken Fries. The price was reasonable, and they offered military/first responder discount. I would recommend the Kung Fu Burger, Lucha Libre Pastor Taco, All-American BBQ Taco, and Chicken Strips. The Gladiator burger was ok, but nothing to be in awe about. As for the Nashville Chicken Fries, they were not good. So I would recommend not ordering those. Leave it to me to go to a place called "Burgers VS Tacos" and order Fish n Chips! But hey, I was in the neighborhood and that's what I was craving. And guess what? More than adequate! Enjoyed my meal outside and caught the sunset on a warm day. I could've used more than one tartar sauce and the fish sticks were on the smaller side but the portion of fries was more than generous. I inquired about the most popular- he stated the gladiator burger. Being a total avocado guac chick, I opted for the Luche Libre burger $12 without cheese. Wow! Amazing flavors, don't really need the cheese. There was plenty of guac, sauces, and flavors happenin'. It's definitely a messy burger to eat, so be sure to stock up on napkins lol. Luche Libre taco- $4 a nice size of fried fish with slaw and a tasty aioli. Enjoyed it! Gladiator burger- delicious! Hubby loved it. Truffle aioli, parmesan onion, crisp, lettuce, truffle dust, bacon, and white cheddar. Check out the menu for their special fries and fried chicken sandwiches. Service is simple - look up at the menu items, they're right on a TV monitor. Pay, choose a place to sit, and wait for your order. They have a few tables inside so we did not have trouble finding one. The ambiance is a wide open and airy dining area. It's simple and functional I'd say. Amazing hands down. We order different things to try but ended up fighting over the Lucha Libre Fish tacos and ordered more. The fish is fried like tempura and it's delicious. I recommend you order something or anything because it will be good. The Asian Barbecue Sauce is delicious and I need to buy some for the house now. This is a cool little place, I do have to admit, if we had half stars I probably would have done 3.5 instead of 4. I wasn't as impressed I thought (based on reviews) I would be. I ordered the Karate Shrimp taco and the capoeira taco, with the latter being my favorite of the two. The shrimp taco was a little disappointing, the combination of the yum yum and wasabi aioli gave it a nice kick of flavor, however the taco only came with two shrimp, smalls ones and butterflied. They were nicely breaded, however bc they are breaded and small there is barely any shrimp to appreciate. It also comes with the tails on. The taco size is generous but the shrimp can easily be eaten in two bites and you left with just tortilla and slaw for the remaining 4 bites of the taco. The capoeira was nice. Awkwardly it comes with a whole slice of tomato, which had to be cut longways to fit the taco. But the flavor of this one was really good! read more

Stopped in here today as I had been wanting to try it because of the great reviews. Sunday evening at 5pm it was completely empty. Literally we were the only patrons. Little worrisome but maybe not their peak times so excusable. There are lots of options for burgers and tacos. We were greeted and welcomed as we browsed the menu. And questions were welcome and answered. Definite plus. So my son was keen to try the pichana burger. But as he only likes meat and bread on his burgers he had one with meat and bread and pichana. He tore it up. He said his pichana meat was cold but he did eat it all. His mom had the shrimp tacos and the pichana taco. Really liked the pichana taco. Shrimp taco was flavorful, but she said it only had two shrimp and they had the tails still on. I think that fam def be improved. Should be at least there shrimp so you have one in every bite and def remove the tails. Your food is cooking while you're removing tails from shrimp in a taco. I had the all American burger double and added the pichana. A little off menu but they allowed it. The pichana meat is good but like my son's it was cool. On the other hand the burger meat was piping hot. So maybe they cooked the pichana and let it sit while cooking the burger. I'd like to see these times come closer together so it's all warm altogether. Still, burger and pichana very good. We ordered a basket of fries. Decent. Nothing special. Drinks were can and bottle fair. No sweet tea. No lemonades. If I'm in the area I'd prob eat here again. There's a lot of stuff to try. Saw something new so I stopped by. Atmosphere was spunky Industrial greeted with smiles. Not too many people during lunch time. I tried a Japanese burger and fries. Japanese Burger had a lot of flavor a bit on the salty side but it could have been the wasabi the fries are skinny shoestring type fries and we're not hot. More of the lukewarm cool what kind of killed it for me. It's crucial fries are hot and not sitting on a warmer in a cold room. PEANUT WARNING Their menu does not mention that 4 of their tacos contain peanuts. You wouldn't think tacos have peanuts. There is nothing on the menu to indicate their food contains nuts. This is extremely dangerous. One allergic reaction and trip to Urgent Care later, now I know and others should know too. That being said, the food and service is good. That was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I had the Sumo and the egg was perfect. My husband had the Capoeira and it was amazing. Absolutely love this place. The Charlie burger with double meat is delicious, can't go wrong with meat and cheese. The charlie fries have a tomato jam that is soo good with their crispy fries, so when the sauce soaks in the fries they're tangy sweet and chewy but not soggy. The taekwondo chicken bun had a great gochujang glazed flavor that mixed perfectly with the asian slaw, i love a properly crisped fried chicken sandy. The sour and savory of the Garlic Aioli, the picanha was tender, and the bun was toasted and buttery! My son, who never eats cheeseburgers, ate a whole one!
