We brought in our set of four 1950s Heywood Wakefield "dog bone" chairs that were in serious need of new cushions, along with vintage fabric (Hawaiian barkcloth) we had recently found. Erick and his crew did a wonderful job - they had the fabric backed to make it more durable, which turned out great, and did some really nice detail work including new bottom-boards for the cushions so that they fit perfectly against the backs of the chairs. And, they even made a little pillow for us with the extra fabric! Most important though, the chairs look absolutely beautiful now, and my husband and I are very happy with them. Not only are they courteous and friendly, they are experts with great design and repair suggestions. They are skilled in this business. We had two sturdy foot stools in need of recovering. We also wanted casters added to make them easier to move. Erick listened to us and then offered his input. That was helpful. He completed the work in a timely fashion, and returned the foot stools to us - delivered to our home. We are pleased with the work and enjoyed working with him. The casters work so well and are recessed from view - Erick's suggestion. We chose leather. The upholstery looks fantastic. He also relined the interior. He put new foam on the tops to improve them. I wanted my leather La-Z-Boy recliner restuffed and a rip in the footrest repaired by re-covering it. I contacted MJ's Upholstery. I sent them photos and they quoted me a price over the phone, with a few options that I could decide on when he came to pick up the chair. I arranged for a pickup/delivery for a nominal fee.
