When I…read moreasked the manager, he rudely replied that too many people were using too many paper towels so they took all of them out except in the bathroom and all of the cleaning supplies and antibacterial wipes out of the area. Put a couple of spray bottles at the desk with no label on them and no way to wipe the spray off. People are taking them out of the bathrooms which are then leaving the bathrooms with no paper towels. It's both unsanitary and disgusting.

With a kid play area, massive indoor and outdoor pools with a slide, I can see why it's so popular. There is a cafe onsite as well as yoga and all the other things you'd expect to see. Friendly service and excellent service. Everywhere I looked, I noticed someone was wiping something down. Lots of parking and tons of lounge seats for people to take a break from their workout or life. I wouldn't hesitate to drop in again when in town.

The steam sauna is my favorite, reminding me of a few I used in Norway and Sweden. I have previously used dry heat saunas, but I find I enjoy the steam.

One thing I've noticed is that the facility is constantly undergoing renovations. Since the beginning of this year, they have renovated the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and men's locker room, and now the women's locker room is being updated as well. While it's good to see continuous improvements, the ongoing construction can sometimes feel inconvenient and is a reminder that the facility is aging. My experiences with the staff have been mixed. Some employees are friendly and helpful, while others come across as less welcoming. One incident in particular left a disappointing impression. I accidentally left my phone at the Life Cafe table and realized it after I had already left the gym. When I returned, a young staff member asked to see my membership card. I explained that my membership information was on the phone I had left inside, but despite the obvious situation, he refused to let me enter without an ID. Even after explaining multiple times that I was simply trying to retrieve my phone, he continued insisting on identification. It felt like common sense and flexibility were missing in that moment. Another concern is the membership cost. I currently pay more than $180 per month, which is quite expensive. At that price point, I believe members naturally expect not only quality facilities but also consistently professional and understanding customer service. Despite these frustrations, I still appreciate the convenience of the location and the overall amenities the gym provides.

Unfortunately, the courts are unavailable Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM throughout the summer due to camp activities, yet members are still paying full membership rates with no discount or accommodation offered. For members who use the courts regularly, this removes a major part of what we're paying for. It feels unfair to eliminate access to a key amenity for an extended period while continuing to charge full price. I understand businesses want to run summer programs, but this situation seems focused on generating additional revenue at the expense of paying members. I raised these concerns with management and was told, "Sorry, nothing we can do." That response was disappointing and felt dismissive. For a gym at this price point, I expected better communication, better planning, or some effort to make things right for affected members. This was handled poorly.

He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure every person in the room knows what to do and helps with form if necessary and welcomed. Another great perk is access to the locker rooms and saunas. I feel the entire facility is kept clean and organized. I love the big windows everywhere which allow for a ton of natural light to come inside. I also enjoy using the indoor/outdoor green space on the bottom floor which has a garage door that can open and close depending on the weather. Very nice during Spring, Summer and early Fall. I never feel like I have to wait for equipment to free up, and they do offer complimentary towels at the front desk upon check-in. This athletic club is on ClassPass and I typically just purchase gym time using a couple credits or I sign up for the circuit or conditioning classes.

This is no one-shop-fits all, buy my latest vitamin, fly-by-night operation. They...take...care...of...you. Your health and well-being is priority. You won't even get on equipment/touch a jump rope/do a push up until a health assessment is done - trust me; this is to your benefit! Everything you do toward achieving your health/fitness goals from that moment on out will be custom-tailored for your body. My body has slimmed down (although I'm still a work in progress). I know they're helping me do something right because heads have been turning in appreciation. :-) The strength training has sculpted some awesome arms, calves, and hips (if I do say so myself). And, let me add: this place is phenomenal for families. I have two sons; ages 13 and 17. They both are football/lacrosse players and they train here. They have an athletic fitness program designed for my sons that is so awesome that it helped my oldest son become selected as part of the football team at Georgia Southern University.
