One thing I've noticed is that the facility is constantly undergoing renovations. Since the beginning of this year, they have renovated the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and men's locker room, and now the women's locker room is being updated as well. While it's good to see continuous improvements, the ongoing construction can sometimes feel inconvenient and is a reminder that the facility is aging. My experiences with the staff have been mixed. Some employees are friendly and helpful, while others come across as less welcoming. One incident in particular left a disappointing impression. I accidentally left my phone at the Life Cafe table and realized it after I had already left the gym. When I returned, a young staff member asked to see my membership card. I explained that my membership information was on the phone I had left inside, but despite the obvious situation, he refused to let me enter without an ID. Even after explaining multiple times that I was simply trying to retrieve my phone, he continued insisting on identification. It felt like common sense and flexibility were missing in that moment. Another concern is the membership cost. I currently pay more than $180 per month, which is quite expensive. At that price point, I believe members naturally expect not only quality facilities but also consistently professional and understanding customer service. Despite these frustrations, I still appreciate the convenience of the location and the overall amenities the gym provides.

Unfortunately, the courts are unavailable Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM throughout the summer due to camp activities, yet members are still paying full membership rates with no discount or accommodation offered. For members who use the courts regularly, this removes a major part of what we're paying for. It feels unfair to eliminate access to a key amenity for an extended period while continuing to charge full price. I understand businesses want to run summer programs, but this situation seems focused on generating additional revenue at the expense of paying members. I raised these concerns with management and was told, "Sorry, nothing we can do." That response was disappointing and felt dismissive. For a gym at this price point, I expected better communication, better planning, or some effort to make things right for affected members. This was handled poorly.

Oh where do I begin, We were interested in signing up our daughter to get a little bit more…read moretraining than recreational volleyball. They boasted that they were one of the best in Atlanta, they boasted that if we had a future in volleyball that would be the place for our daughter to get a scholarship, they boasted about the exceptional training that they offer to help the players get better and ready for college and professional volleyball. While we spent over $4,000, we got none of that, our daughter was placed on a team with a coach that had no experience coaching it was her first year coaching. Pretty bad when the players have more experience than the coach. The coach constantly changed routines on game day that were out of line from practice so the girls constantly did not know what positions to play and how to play them. When the coach got upset or aggravated she became physical and at one time assaulted our daughter by grabbing her and pulling her by the arm. We filed a complaint about this and about the other issues that we were dealing with. We were assured that the situation would be resolved only for the coach to continue coaching and knowing who complained on her and who our child was. Which left room for retaliation. Our daughter's playing time drop 75% and sat on the sidelines because of the retaliation. We were assured that management staff would be present during tournaments and games to make sure the coach was doing what she was supposed to, management never showed up nor watched any games. Coach for one tournament was over an hour late, the girls almost had to forfeit their tournament. The coach was verbally aggressive with the assistant coach, and constantly placing blame on the assistant coach. Several girls were singled out due to their parents filing complaints and verbally expressing their dissatisfaction with the club and the coach. There was favoritism for the other girls, were the coach took the girls from tournaments or from practice to go get ice cream or food and never including the whole team. Also taking the girls from tournaments and practice without consulting or permission from parents. This was absolutely the worst experience we could have ever had for many club and we don't recommend you wasting your money with it because that's what you would be doing. There are far better other clubs out there You may want to look into and always check reviews, which we clearly didn't do. Also found out they have two different Google websites This one and the other one with very poor ratings. Make sure you read them all!

Terrible spectator sight lines. Low ceilings with multiple obstructions negatively impacting play. Are there even enough exits for fire safety? One of the things we really liked about this venue is that they have a bridal suite upstairs where the bridal party and both mothers could get ready. It was a nice space with lots of room for hair, makeup, and changing. There was a small patio overlooking the parking where we could watch as guests arrived. There was a parlor downstairs with a pool table and flatscreen TVs where the groom, groomsmen, and dads could hang out and relax before the ceremony. The clubhouse itself is full of southern charm with its majestic white columned exterior and red tile roof. The back view is just as attractive as the front with its well manicured lawn that over looks a lake and several fancy estate homes. There is also a wide patio that overlooks the back lawn which was perfect for our cocktail reception and then later became a cigar bar. Inside is very spacious. There is a foyer with a spiral staircase where we displayed photographs and served champagne while the guests were starting to arrive. We had about 150 guests and there was plenty of room for tables, 2 bars, and a spacious dance floor in the ballroom. TPC Sugarloaf really lends itself to weddings because of its size and its beauty; inside and out. There are so many great spots for wedding photos. You have to park at the gas south concentration center and then you get on buses and are bused in. It's $15.00 a day. No one can enter the neighborhood till after 10am. Thats when the first bus leaves. We have not waited to leave or go head back any of the days busses have been available. We have walked the course each day. There are restrooms and concession stands throughout. The course is very elite and high end homes throughout.
