The service is excellent, the staff is attentive and friendly, and it took me a long time to find a place that truly listens to my needs. They're attentive, and the place is always clean. They prioritize their clients; they accept walk-ins, but they always prioritize current customers, which speaks volumes about their professionalism. The male nail technician does an incredible job on acrylic nails. He makes them thin enough to look natural and always symmetrical. A refill with gel is only $25. They have a wide range of gel, dip powder, and classic polish colors. The pedicures are also amazing. I prefer my pedicures on the longer side and they always make sure to scrub away dead skin and massage the oil/lotion till absorbed. I was charged 98.00 for a full set of pink and white ombré and a regular pedicure. NEVER AGAIN! I have never paid that much for my nails unless they are putting Swarovski crystals on them and making them look impeccable. 60.00 max for pedi and full set for what I asked for which was underwhelming by the nail tech himself. Used low grade nail art stones, couldn't even be creative enough to do a design to save his life, and once I left has a final total of paying 108 for the tip. As I'm leaving not even a goodbye. The pedicure I got done by the woman was really good but as for my nails...... I asked why 98 he said my nails were $75.00 which is bull**** highway robbery. which would've made my pedicure only $23.00 when I heard him tell another client the regular pedicure was 35.00. Clearly they just charged me whatever they wanted which is clearly not good business practice. He was snarky and I didn't like his demeanor from the start. I've been going to this salon for a year and half. I gave them five stars to start and it was well deserved as Susan gives amazing pedicures and Julie gives amazing manicures such attention to detail both of them. If you do decide to stop by ask for them. I've been a loyal customer; made my appointments, showed up on time and always tipped minimum 20%. I am very busy just like all of us.... I struggle to find the time to squeeze in my apts. I called earlier today after lunch and asked to make an appointment with Julie at 4. I repeated that I wanted the appointment with Julie 3 times because on two separate occasions I've done this before and I did not get julie ( and I honestly wouldn't have made the appointment or showed up if I knew it wasn't w her) I showed up @ & said I had an appointment at 4 with Julie..... there were four people working there and all four people were attending to all 4 customers.... and I saw looks being giving to each other. I realize perhaps they were running a little behind and I took 5 minutes to pick out my nail polish and then I sat down for 5 minutes longer before I realized that nobody else was there to help... so 10 minutes after my appointment I stand up and said if you don't have time to take me for my appointment then I'm going to have to go..... They spoke to each other in their language so I could not understand for an awkward time and then the owner just turned to me and said yes I'm sorry we don't have time for you. So, you took my appointment this time and not only does Julie not have time for me but no one has time for me......? So, I walked in and you knew you didn't have time for me......and then you watched me picked out my colors for 5 minutes and you still knew you didn't have time for me...and then I sat down for 5 minutes as everybody still sat there working away until I spoke up and asked in more or less words are you going to honor my appointment? To what you finally gain the courage to tell me that you couldn't honor it. Thanks for the awesome respect. Respect as another human being never mind as one of your loyal, paying customers. I've watched the same level of service given to others walking through the door as I sat there honestly baffled... my career background is in customer service and marketing & I think the general consensus, looking at ratings, has value .......I know I'm not the only one. The owner gives not one crap. Do not let him do your nails because he sits there and talk to his co-workers and botches up your cuticles and does a messy paint job. Never go here! They r shady and the fat gut/owner is a crook. I stopped in Saturday morning for a regular manicure. There were 4 girls and 1 guy (the owner) not with any curstomers. The owner said he would only do a gel nail manicure for $30. I proceeded to tell him I wanted a regular mani for $18. I had never done nor wanted gel on my good nails. He refused to give me service but said he would do a regular mani for $30. I pointed to the posted charges showing he charges $18. He shook his head and said a regular manicure would be $30 either way I have been getting my nails done over 40 yrs and never came across treatment nor rudeness and deceitful behavior like this. Don't bother calling. He will tell you to come in and when you get there he either says he can't take you or come back later. Literally defeats the purpose of calling ahead. I called at 12:30 in the afternoon asking if I could come in at 5pm to remove my dip powder. He says yes come in. I get to the shop and he asked if I had an appointment. I started I called earlier about removing dip. He says " I can't take you now can you come back at 6:30" I was beyond pissed that I said forget it and went to another salon. I've been coming here two years and I get the same style, same length every time. Usually I get a solid color, sometimes a French. I was just charged 95 for a full set. The most I've ever paid here was 85 and that was long acrylic set with designs on each nail. When I questioned the cost, I was told that's always been the price. Yet every time I come here I pay between 55-65 on the regular. I was told I'm wrong. Management was extremely rude and talked over me, until I politely said I would go somewhere else and excused myself. Not only was she combative but she pointed to another customer and said to "ask her". Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. They don't care about their customers. If you have an appointment, you'll wait for a good 30-45 mins before you you're seated or they'll tell you they don't have time. Only one tech is worth the wait. There's so many reviews of this place being racist and treating customers differently, and it's true. Went here for the first time this past Sunday. Honestly only went because they are one of the only places still open on Sundays. I was very pleasantly surprised, especially after reading some of the reviews on here. I thought the mother-son team were very nice-- they were friendly and talkative, without being too talkative. It was very clean as well. I thought the pedicure was good quality- especially for the price. $25 for a pedicure is not bad nowadays! It's not going to replace my normal "go to" place for pedicures, but if I am ever in a bind and need a pedi on a Sunday, will definitely return here! read more

This is the best place around for pedicure and nails with designs that last. I got a pedicure that came with a hot stone and excellenct massage. What a gem of a place to find a few days before Christmas. The staff are extremely friendly and super nice! I took my time picking out my gel polish and was seated right away. The nail technician, chrissy was great, took her time and chit chatted with me about different nail techniques. Susan, the woman at the front desk was so pleasant and nice! This was one of the best experiences I have had at a nail salon. Plus I received a $5 dollar off gift certificate of $30 the next time I visit! The place itself is fabulous. The stations have the heated drying platforms right were you sit!! It's a great touch! I will definitely go back and get a polish change and a pedi!! this place is absolute trash . I came here because 4 seasons was full one night and its the worst mistake. the only good thing that came out of it was me discovering an even better salon (diamond nails) right down the street, truly a hidden gem. The tehcs hands were disgustingly sweaty and he was so rough while filing my nails. obviously I'm a woman so I'm familiar with the steps that should be taken when getting a manicure. Before the Manicure started I gave him the money and he proceeded to tell me that my manicure would be $15 not $10 which is what im used to paying at other salons. I didnt fuss but I thought to myself "this better be one hell of a manicure" At other salons after they put on the cuticle oil and tell you to wash your hands, upon returning they put your hands in a bowl of warm water and soap to get any of the gunk out that you mightve missed when you washed your hand yourself. I still had alot of the shavings from my nails from when he filed them underneath my nails. He proceeded to paint after I pointed it out. My cuticles still looked like trash also. The manicure was really mediocre. MY NAILS WERENT EVEN ! I had a friend with me and she wanted to refill her stiletto nails and have them reshaped. he did one hand way more narrow than the other and she pointed it out several times to him, even told him to stop and he still acted like he knew what he was doing. We both left completely dissatisfied and I had made up my mind that I would call in the morning and ask to speak to the owner/manager. I called several times a day for two days straight and each time I was told there was neither a manager or owner in the building. I decided to explain to whoever answered the phone what was going on and she told me to come in so we did.We get there and its the same exact two people who were there the first time we got our nails done. One female tech (who I think only does pedicures because both times I went she was only doing pedicures) and the idiot who messed up our nails the first time. obviously he recognized us because we were the only two people in the salon that night that he serviced. this was his time to redeem himself and he dropped the ball again. he had the nerve to give me the nail file and tell me to file my nails how I wanted AS IF HE WASNT THE ONE WHO DIDNT DO IT RIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I proceeded to tell him that hes a professional and that its his job and he shouldve done it right the first time I came then he threw a hissy fit took back the file and did my nails. still shitty. Even when they are empty they are busy. I've walked in and there are no customers, just the three main techs who are often there. I walked in this morning, on a Monday at 9:30am and they were sitting at the end of the salon watching a show on an iPad. They asked if I could wait 30mins. Again, NO customers. Why do I have to wait? So you can finish watching your show? I've been here many times and the past several times they've been so consumed in the shows they are watching and games they are playing that they even do my nails and pauses every couple minutes to watch the show or make a move in the game on the iPad next to them - WHILE MY NAIL IS BEING DONE. If the shows are that important, put a sign on the door to say come back later, but don't let me walk in to an open empty salon and you tell me you are busy and I see you binging on a show, and no other customers are there. I have been a loyal customer for the past 5 year...I called to make a 3:30 pm appointment Friday afternoon. I arrived on time, I took my time picking out my color for my mani/pedi, I then had to sit for about 10 minutes. I was put in the pedi seat at about 3:55 pm as I was soaking my feet the technician ran the water for another customer that came into the shop after me. At first I thought she was just going to let her soak and relax while she did my pedicure.... I was sadly mistaken she sat down to do the other women's pedicure. I then asked for a towel to dry my feet I wanted to leave. The owner said "you want to leave" I said "yes" I informed him the "I arrived before the that woman and she was getting taken care of first so I would like a towel to dry my feet". His response was "give me a few minutes " I told him I would not wait for a towel I would leave with my feet wet and that's what I did. You get exactly what you pay for here. I was one of their first customers. The acrylic nails were OK. Went back for a re-fill and the man working there really hurt me. Cut me, I was bleeding and offered no apology. A few weeks ago I was pressed for time and needed a new set of acrylic nails put on. Should have known better. A different lady did them. She did not shape them right and she also hurt me when filing them. That is the last time I will ever go back there. I received a gift certificate here and figured I would try it out. I walk in and am the only person in there. After standing there for a few minutes a little old asian woman greets me. She didnt speak a LICK of english but she understood what I wanted. My Pedicure is going well then people start to pour in. She got distracted and messed up on my big toe and I had to tell her to fix it. She was a little overwhelmed since the other two employees that worked there speak/understand little to no english. I am whisked away to the manicure table and talk about speedround! She was going so fast she cut me, and there was blood. Thats why I basically give this salon one star. There should never be blood involved in a mani or pedi. Also, she didnt bother to disinfect (or apologize). As I look at my hands now there is a ton of polish left over and she did GOB on the top coat so I dont think this will last long. So I've gone here a handful of times and every time I've sworn I would never go back. Problem is I do their dipping powder and not many salons do that so I end up having to go back to MKA. The male tech who does the powder is cocky as hell, and I swear every time I go there his breath is horrendous. I had a 4 o'clock appointment for a powder manicure and a pedicure.. I didn't leave there for 3.5 hours!!! Once I asked how much longer I got a rushed job on my hands and my toes are smudged. I'm definitely not going back there. Will only go here for my eyebrows but they are horrible at doing nails .... went one time to get a pedicure and they messed up my nails bad and I told the guy that I didn't like them and him and another worker tried to make me think it looked good nope and he told me to come back the next day and I did and he charged me $20 to paint them after I had just paid for a pedicure the day before !!! I went here for a pedicure with a friend because she had the mood gel polish on and I loved it. I received the absolute best massage I have ever had. In addition she actually made my feet look like I got a pedicure. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to get pedicures and my feet are rough on the way out. I paid $70 for white toes and a full set. Now I wouldn't have an issue if this set was worth 70. This is easily one of the worst full sets I've ever gotten. My nail looked as" disaster" after two week trip to the beach and I want to renew it as soon as possible. Fortunately, I was recommended a nail salon by my friend- MKA nail and spa. This nail salon was great! The space is very fresh for customers to enjoy. Moreover, everyone was so nice and even though it was so crowded, I didn't have to wait that long. The workers were very efficient and friendly. They really care about doing a good job, and you can tell they are experts. There are a lot of nail's styles for you choose. They have nature nail, color gel polish, acrylic nail and other services. Plus they didn't hurt me with any of the equipment, which is rate to me. My fingers didn't leave with any cuts. And the lady gave me a super relaxing hand massage afterwards. And one more aspect that I want to share is the price is reasonable. You have to pay from $15 & up to $60 & up for the services. WORST NAIL SALON EVER! i got there at 4:00 pm and didnt leave until 7:00 - they have no idea what they are doing and can't "do" nails! how does this happen!? i don't know. they are not sort of bad - they are REALLY bad. i asked for a pink and white fill - i was sat with an asian gentleman that after doing the second nail i asked him if he had ever done this before and he smiled and shook his head. i was then asked to sit with another woman - she ruined my pink and white fill, and did an acrylic set that looks AWFUL! i will never go back here, and hope that you won't either! save your money and time! read more
