Overall, I imagine that like any service based place, it can be hit or miss depending on the time of day, who is working, and what type of day everyone is having. I have never gotten a pedicure before, but ended up tagging along with some friends who wanted to go. This was a very spacious salon and it felt like it was busy, but not too busy on a Friday afternoon. We all decided to get the Spring Romance Package and I'm not sure if we got everything listed (it said there was a tea, but I honestly couldn't tell if that was actually a drink or what the soak was called, lol). My friends and I agreed that I probably had the best experience out of everyone, so it really can vary depending on who is working. I believe my techs name was Johnny and he was great. One of my friends asked specifically to not get the scrub since she doesn't like them, but her tech ended up giving her the scrub and not another step of the treatment which she was bothered by. My friend who gets pedicures fairly often said that these were some of the best massage chairs he's ever experienced. One thing that isn't clear before going is that you can't add a tip if paying with card, so bring some cash to tip. They do have an ATM inside the salon, but I imagine there are services fees involved with that as well. Salon visits aren't really a thing I have worked into my budget, but I think if I wasn't able to take care of my feet and I could get the same tech, I would probably go here again. i just paid 30 dollars to have the integrity of my natural nails absolutely obliterated requested a builder gel removal and gel pedicure removal- despite grating down half of my toenail, there's still some gel polish left over they just didn't remove. the woman who did the service was very sweet and i don't blame her at all- it's clear that the nail techs here are not given the proper tools or training to know what drill bits should or should not be used on the natural nail. that isn't her fault, but it does mean that this place should absolutely be out of business. i worked for almost six months to grow my natural nails out and now they're paper thin and damaged beyond repair. read more

It's hit or miss... and don't let D do your nails.. they will be uneven, starts lifting, then they break or come off.. your nails are only guaranteed to be fixed for free for 3 days after your appt. Probably one of the worst manicures I've had in a while. I asked for a semi translucent color in gel and the lady asked if I wanted to try dip instead. I've never tried dip before, so I figured I'd give it a go. The dip turned out horrible. You can still see the powder flecks in my nails - I'm pretty sure this is not how a dip manicure is supposed to look. I didn't pick a speckled color... the nail tach also did bare minimum in terms of cleaning cuticles and the nail bed. She didn't ask me what shape nails I wanted and started aggressively filing down my nails into a square. I had just grown them long enough to have a more natural oval shape. When I saw what she had filed my nails into, I had to settle for a squoval shape and asked her to round out the corners. It looked bad. The worst part is, for $60, my dip nails started falling off in less than a week! I thought dip was supposed to last longer... clearly the tech didn't know what she was doing. I also got a pedicure and told the tech the water was too hot. He turned the knob to cool it, but instead turned it onto boiling hot water. I yelped in pain and he apologized for his mistake. He seemed nice, but clearly didnt know what he was doing. I will definitely not be going back. read more

Aesthetically, the place is bright and beautiful. That's where the positives end. I can only speak for the nail tech who serviced me, and it was a complete and utter disaster. I went in for a no-chip pedicure and dip nails, a service I get regularly at my trusted salon in Bolingbrook (lesson learned: never cheat on your regular tech!). He did an okay job on my feet, but immediately messed up by putting the WRONG color on my toes. I pointed it out, he acknowledged the error, and asked if I wanted it fixed. I foolishly let it slide, thinking, "It's winter, no one will see them." That was my first mistake. Then came the dip manicure. He DID NOT REMOVE THE OLD DIP COMPLETELY, broke TWO of my nails, and over-filed another. I asked him to put tips on the broken and over-filed nails, which resulted in an absolutely HORRENDOUS job. I finally had to tell him to stop the service altogether. I paid for the pedicure ($57, mind you, for the WRONG color and a mediocre job) and left. There is no way I would ever give them another chance. For $57, I expect a professional, competent service, not a constant stream of errors and nail destruction. I sincerely hope that man finds his true calling, because it is definitely not doing nails. Again, this is one tech. I hate I have to base my review off one person... but the fact he felt no remorse or apologized said a lot. Positives: free parking, near restaurants, and a CVS store. read more

First visit was fine, basic mani pedi. No issues. 2nd visit, 2 weeks later, I was given an inexperienced, probably not liscened, "technician" based on how the other technicians were checking on him. the pedicure was fine, not great. The manicure was bad. I sho him the length i wanted my nails to be, and he cut them below the length shown and crooked. they could not be fixed and ended up very short. he clipped my cuticles too close o. several fingers and ended up filing skin on fingers he cut nails too short on. One of the other technicians too over once she saw him struggling and my discomfort, but she could not fix anything. she finished the manicure but after 4 days the polish has worn down. I don't know if it was old or thinned, but my manicure looks 2 weeks old after 4 days. I returned to the store on the 5th day and spoke to the manager James. he was polite and apologized but offered no compensation until I asked him several time what he would do to fix, the polish issues. Pretty sure that was my last visit there. read more

A woman in a fur coat in 50 degree weather comes in AFTER me. This Asian lady runs & leaves me for over 15 mins to go do this lady lashes , because they had a huge fur coat on looking like money . I went to this place yesterday. Big shop with plenty of parking. I arrived @11:00. There were about 2 other patrons and about 10 technicians with nothing to do. I've been to this shop two times before because they have this particular color that I like. When I asked my technician to retrieve me the palette that contained this color (before she removed the polish from my fingers and toes), she kept giving me palettes that didn't contain the color/colors, so I figured that they discontinued this particular color palette. So, i chose an alternate color. As I was leaving, after I paid 80.00 dollars (I usually tip 20 percent...but I only tipped 10 percent this time) for this alternate color including a not so good nail shaping, I spotted the palette sitting at another station. I was directed to the manager to explain/express my concern. i wanted my color changed. This RUDE manager tried to dismiss me and told me I would have to pay an additional 40.00 dollars for a color change for my fingernails and toes. I was willing to meet him half-way and pay 20.00 since I should have not settled but he also should have been more understanding. It would have cost 2.00 dollars worth of polish for the shop and 20 minutes of both our time. He did not budge and became nasty when I tried explaining again, thinking there might be a language barrier. I am an adult of a particular age and I consider myself to have particular decorum when I'm dealing with the public. No need for me to be rude, loud or belligerent. I simply walked away and vowed never to return. So, that's what I did and what I will be doing from now on. Save your money for a shop that respects you and your money. read more

While I was there, a woman was walking back from where the restrooms were and said customers are not allowed to use the restroom very loudly. I asked if that was true, especially since the restrooms are labeled. He said no customers cannot use it. I am not going to this place ever again unless they start letting customers use the restroom. It's unfortunate because it's nearby and when I went before I'd liked my person. But this is ridiculous. I have never been to a salon that would not let me use the restroom. read more
