I've been looking for a nail salon in the area for a while that is consistent and open on Sundays -- Finally found it! Staff is super friendly, very accommodating. I've tried a few different technicians in the past few months and they've all been excellent! They offer a variety of services for pedicures and nails, even hair removal.
The quality depends on the person. I had a christen (maybe Karen) I wasn't the happiest. The aesthetics are cute they opened a new side. The service is always good but again the service depends on the nail tech. I probably wouldn't pick her if she's the only one available. I'm usually a big tipper, I tipped a mid as my nails look today. Sorry but not.
Came here on a summer Saturday for a long overdue mani-pedi. They were comfortably busy, but not crowded. But, I would recommend making an appointment. I got a Jelly pedicure with Susan and a dip manicure with Teresa. Both were very pleasant and attentive. Susan did not skip a beat on that foot massage and Teresa's attention to detail is pure love. Now, I did knock off a point for a few things: the receptionist was a bit abrupt; almost felt like I was bothering her by calling to make an appointment. There are still some unfinished rough spots on my feet that I noticed at home. And I realized that I didn't get offered a complimentary beverage like most other customers. However, I am overall satisfied and I'll definitely be back to give this place another shot.
This place is a fraud. Premium pricing, sub standard service! 1. Never told about the cash pay reward program. When I overheard a client speaking of it and mentioned it, I was told that management advises them not to tell Clients about it. 2. Natural finger nails and toe nails destroyed - over filing/buffing. Has left my nails paper thin and easy to break. Forced me to do an overlay on big toes and finger nails. I am 40 years old - never have I needed an overlay in my big toes! 3. Foot scrub and massage is listed under service description, yet I was only given scrub. When I asked about the massage, I was told that the massage was given with the scrub. Make it make sense...... 4. There is not one tech here who can do it ALL, well. Upcharge for EVERYTHING, yet there is no real care to detail! I live two blocks from this place so I have let the convenience of closeness keep me returning but I am DONE! Today I had a fill with gel cat eye polish. $63, with $10 tip. I didn't take a really close look until I got home. These photos are after I got home and filed my own nails properly.... I am so over handing over my hard earned money for poor service. DONE!
Came in for a quick manicure. For 16.00 that's exactly what I got. Simple, effective and quick. I think if I'd paid more, I would be a little annoyed, but I feel satisfied the price matched the job. Liya was my nail technician. She was very nice. Would not hesitate to come back for additional services.
No rating at all for this racist, unfair and unprofessional place. I asked for black square nails and received coffin small nails. I e been coming here for TWO years and today they decided to disrespect me. I showed her the picture 4 times to reassure she knew what she was doing. She proceeded to help everyone else in the shop and kept coming back to me - rushing. I showed her the pic one last time and told her that wasn't the same look. She got upset and cut my nails and said I can go somewhere else to soak off. I even asked how much it would cost to soak off my nails and she said they didn't have time (mind you- the shop was empty) . Instead of trying to be a Money hungry dog I would recommend telling a client you don't know how to do a style than wasting 39 minutes of my life for an epic fail as a nail experience!!!!
This is still my favorite nail salon. I always receive an excellent regular manicure & pedicure package which is now $52. You can choose to upgrade your pedicure (for additional cost) upon arrival but I stick with their "Basic Refresher pedicure" #10). All my nail technicians have been great (and Riya is a nice lady to chat with). I highly recommend calling to make an appointment since they are very busy.
My new favorite and go to nail salon! This place is always super clean, everyone is friendly, and you get exactly what you pay for. The salon opens its doors before their actual opening time, and the staff is ready to go! They give the best pedicures here (massages are actually good), and the manicures are extremely neat! I've never had a problem here and always love my nails when I leave. I get UV gel nails instead of acrylics and it's a little pricey (worth it), but it doesn't damage my nails and they look more natural TIP: This nail salon is VERY popular and busy. Make an appointment! They do their best to squeeze people in, but depending on the service, you might have to come back another time/day.

Most reviews mention Tracy and Kiki by name so I came midday hoping for one of them - score! The place is generally really clean, tools are opened from sealed sterilized pouches and the prices are very competitive. A good, but not huge selection of colors, but I noticed a really big selection for no chip. $39 regular mani/pedi Mon-Thu. Regularly $42. They're very thorough, scrub your heels and massage your legs and hands and the paint work was excellent. My gal painted all the way down to the cuticle and didn't use a touch up brush even once! No TVs or magazines, but I didn't look that hard. They do offer water, tea, etc... The couple of misses were: she unrolled a towel from the clean stack for my mani and it had gross dried sticky leftover stuff on it and she didn't try to replace it without prompting. Also, the gal next to me got a great shoulder massage and I got nada. Perhaps her services cost more, but it was a bummer after seeing someone else get one. Finally, my person pushed pretty hard to get her tip in cash which I ended up doing, but I didn't like the pressure to do so. Parking spaces on the north end of the building, but not sure if staff uses them or if they are for customers.

Amazing service! You have to Book an appointment ahead of time but you get thee 5 star treatment. Best manicure in Chicago! The vibe is nice and quite, they have signs that request for silence and they play nice relaxing music. I would recommend!! read more

This is a "gel" refill. They make up their own prices, forget English. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called to notify my unpleasant experience, was hung up on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For 120$ PLEASE DO PHUCKINNG BETTER. Cheap thick and can't even center two simple initials. And they're so effin racist! read more

Mia gave me a great fill in for my acrylics. She fixed my last set I got elsewhere as well as gave a really nice hand massage. Prices are very reasonable as well read more

Believe it or not, these are 3 weeks old on my natural nails and they still look as good as day 1. I love that they don't do the dip super thick like most places and my nail tech did a great job hand drawing the designs. The vibe of the place itself looks a bit above standard and has a trendy ambiance compared to most nail salons but their dip powder is by far the best quality I have ever gotten. Will definitely be getting my nails done here from now on! read more

Cindy did such a wonderful job on my dip manicure! I broke my real and very long nail, it is very painful, bruised, and was bleeding. Cindy was so understanding and extra careful. She made sure I was not in pain and spent extra time on me trying to be gentle. I will definitely come back to her next time, I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was $53 because I ended up getting one fake nail, usually $50 but definitely worth the price. read more

I had the no chip gel manicure done today with the color temperature changing polish. The service was nice and atmosphere of the salon seemed tidy and clean. I mentioned to my technician that she didn't need to cut/touch my cuticles/skin around nail too much because they are very sensitive. After pushing back my cuticles a bit too harshly my technician proceeded to pull while trimming the cuticles off and ripped a bit of skin off for my right middle finger and right ring finger. She proceeded to disinfect it and it stopped bleeding right away which was fine. Then throughout the gel nail polish process my cuticles were burning especially under the UV lamp. I let my technician know several times that there was a burning sensation but she shrugged it off. Minus the fact that she took off a little too much than she should have even when I told her to be careful, the gel nail polish was painted on with care and precision so that it was even and not bumpy which I appreciate. She was able to shape my nails to the shape I desired and overall the paint job was great. Not sure if I would come again because it's been 8 hours since the appointment and my cuticles for those 2 fingers are still stinging, but I am enjoying these fun changing colors especially with the cold weather. read more

I absolutely love coming here, perfect location and friendly staff. I never feel rushed when I am getting services done, the nail techs take their time and aim for perfection. Masks are required and they thankfully take this seriously and are constantly cleaning after ever client. The only con is having nail techs that can really create nice abstract nail art, I don't always need some razzle dazzle but when I do I want to be able to come here to get it. All in all 4 stars from me!! read more
I love this local nail salon. ... although the girls speak very little English they make up for it their attention to detail, care and ensuring the client is comfortable. My favorite nail tech there is Liya, soft spoken, respectful and sweet. I always relax when I get there . They have s few parking spots and there is plenty of street parking. They also offer u free beverage and Pringle's, kinda of cute. One can avail mani pedi combo before 3pm for $39 which is $6 less thAn regular price. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! okay so my very first experience was a little hit and miss bc my no chip cracked quickly however the owner Tracy was so willing to correct the error. I continued to come back for dipping powder manicure (and it still looks great going on week 3) and now i'm back for a pedicure. I wasn't able to come in and get my chipped nail fixed. Tracy upgraded my pedicure service. I really LOVE this spa. Its so close to my neighborhood and they do great work. A++++++++++++ read more

This is my new go to salon! It's a clean beautiful calming space and all the nail techs are talented and sweet and kind. I got tips and a Tiffany blue dip powder with diamond accents. I've been searching for the best dip salon and I think I found it-- VIP has the best dip technique I have seen yet. They have a really nice color selection too. I'm so happy with my manicure and I will definitely be back. Update: my dip & tips lasted a full four weeks! read more
Overall I had a good experience here! It was relaxing and I like my colors. I got a no-chip mani and a normal pedi. My mani lasted about 1.5 weeks, though it did show some bubbling and cracking in the first week. That being said, I'm not very careful with my hands and have never had a manicure last longer - so take that with a grain of salt. What the no chip mani and pedi involved (spoilers!) - foot bath while in a basic massage chair - foot scrub - basic but nice leg and foot massage (~5 min) - legs wrapped in nice hot towels - hand collagen pack for your hands - brief hand and shoulder massage (~5 min) - polish application and all that's involved The place was also very clean and spacious, and the tools were all single-use or sterilized. One only issue was I asked them not to remove / push my cuticles, but they still did (probably a communication mishap). Overall, great for the experience - I enjoyed all the extra details! read more

I've been a regular at VIP nails since they've first opened. Tracy & Fanny are my go to nail techs. Show them a picture and they never fail to execute. I love the vibe and the friendliness of this shop & don't plan on ever changing. Y'all see my beautiful Christmas nails? So good. read more

Today I went to vip nails for the first time and I had a very pleasant experience. Two lovely ladies worked on me one did my no chip pedi and the other one my nails. They did a amazing job! The place was clean and everyone was very nice. I will definitely be back! read more

My No chip chipped three days later but I'll still leave my review of my experience as is: Very cute inside and clean. Free parking right out front as well! Not over priced- reasonable deals. Was very happy with the detail and time taken on my no-chip manicure and Spa pedicure. Caring for the details and taking your time are most important to me. Loved the collagen gloves that were included and complimentary drinks as well. My tech listened to what I wanted and was patient when I contemplated getting a design. Will be back for sure! read more

The service here is inconsistent. Some technicians do a great job, others don't. Best advice, when you find a good technician, get her name and make appointments with her only. My last no chip manicure was rushed and resulted in chipped polish in a week. Now for the salon itself; it's nice and clean. However, the level of service can be found at pretty much any Asian run salon. My last visit was my last visit. #expectandacceptnothingbutexcellence read more
