They require all pets have proper vaccinations and before accepting a pet, they do an evaluation to determine temperament and if the pet is suitable for boarding. The staff here is very friendly, professional and organized. I've dealt with the Shift Manager, Megan the most and she has been great. The also do grooming in addition to boarding but we've never had Harvey groomed here. They have what is called The Bark Shop where they stock all sorts of pet supplies, not just for dogs but for cats as well. Since the state of SC has improved Highway 160/Fort Mill Highway, access has become much simpler. There are now 2 driveways, one to enter and one to exit. They have added colorful signage so they are easier to spot from the highway.

I tried calling Monday and after several attempts, was told they weren't picking up because they were understaffed and told to send photos, which I did. I also requested day camp videos for everyday in writing & verbally and no response. Try finding contact information about the corporate office, they don't easily share it. Also check out BBB and see they are not members and have a "F" rating. After, a complaint filed on BBB a marketing person has sent me 2 emails, one asking for the location & one yesterday saying she would escalate it. I did find the HR manager's number Monday and she said she would have someone call me & no call. I think they may have been understaffed and thought they could get away with not providing day camp and still wonder how my dog got hurt.

Extremely Disappointed with Training & Board Services!…read more My wife and I decided to use this facility for board and train because we love their Lake Norman doggy daycare location, it's fantastic. Unfortunately, our experience at this location was completely unacceptable. We spent nearly $2,000 for more than two weeks of training, and when we got our dog back, nothing we wanted accomplished had been done. In fact, our dog came home worse than when we left him. Our dog is very smart and food-motivated, easily trainable, so there should have been no issues at all with progress. We live up in Lake Norman, and the follow-up 15 min meeting is 1 hour away from us during the week with traffic, (trainer can only meet onsite mon-fri) Which my wife and I work so this is a huge inconvenience. When we asked if the trainer could meet at a different location or even come to our house, we were told it would cost $170. When we finally spoke to the manager, she said there was nothing she could do because, in her words, "they provided the services." This is a terrible customer experience, especially considering we are loyal customers who use their other locations. Bottom line: Do not pay for board or training at this location. We are beyond frustrated and feel completely ripped off.

Do Not Take Your Dog Here!…read more We took our puppy to Modern Pet Salon for the first time because we heard they use scissors instead of clippers, which we thought would be gentler. It turned out to be a terrible mistake. We specifically asked them multiple times not to cut too much of her hair, especially since she doesn't like it, but they insisted she had too many tangles and needed a full trim. Not only did they ignore our request, but they cut our puppy twice, both on her ears--areas where there was no tangled hair at all. They even called us during the appointment to say she was bleeding. Later, they claimed it was because she had an ear hematoma and that they had just trimmed it. That was a complete lie. We took her to the vet, who confirmed that the injury was a fresh cut from grooming and not from any medical condition. She did not have a hematoma. They hurt her, and then tried to cover it up. They also asked us to use an old sock to cover the wound, which felt incredibly unprofessional and careless. Since then, our puppy has been extremely uncomfortable. She keeps shaking her head, clearly bothered by her ears, and she has been very sad and withdrawn. This is the first and only time something like this has ever happened to her. I'm beyond disappointed. Not only should they have never charged us for this awful experience, but they should not be handling dogs, especially sensitive breeds like doodles, if they can't do so safely and honestly. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Please protect your pet and take them somewhere else.

I was not finding what I was looking for on Rover and the traditional doggy daycare was not going to work due to our dog's health issues - Rocky was unfortunately diagnosed with anemia a couple years ago, so his immune system is not great to be around other dogs (other than our family member's dog(s)) as it could lead to other health issues, or more. Some how I came across Two Tails in a search and found that they did dog boarding in their home - one dog at a time! My husband and I did a meet and greet with owner Kim and Jenny who would be taking care of Rocky. We felt comfortable meeting Jenny and seeing her home where Rocky would be staying. We decided we wanted to do a trial run before we actually started booking. This happened in July of 2020, and the rest has been history! We have booked with Jenny multiple times since then, his latest stay this last weekend. We have multiple bookings already set up for the rest of this year. Some have been just a weekend, some have been two weeks long! We absolutely love that Rocky gets so excited when he get's to Jenny's. He remembers and knows where he is. It makes us comfortable knowing he is comfortable. It also makes us comfortable that he is at someone's home the entire time - a big backyard, getting to sleep on furniture like he does at home, can get attention as he needs, etc. Also, Rocky has had some other health issues come up when he has stayed with Jenny. There have been no issues with Jenny handling medications. Lastly, the best thing! Pet Reports! We get a daily report at the end of each day, which lets us know how Rocky did during the day with pictures. We never received that kind of update from our Rover sitter or our doggy daycares that we used to use. Another thing that just gives us peace of mind seeing that report each evening when we are gone. We absolutely love Jenny and Two Tails Up! Highly recommend - just only at times when we aren't using them. :)
