I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. I initially called 4 Seasons, they said it was the inducer and couldn't do anything until 1/2 because of the holiday. I called Dennis Heating and he arrived half an hour after my call, checked eve and knew immediately it was the control board and not the inducer.
