Before choosing a company, I compared several TV mounting businesses on both Yelp and Google. I ultimately decided on Bay Area Wall Mounts because of their established reviews and the photos of their previous work, and I'm glad I did. Ismat installed our 65" LG C6 TV along with an LG S95TR soundbar above our fireplace and mantel. I was initially unsure whether the fireplace and mantel would make the installation more difficult, but he handled it without any issues and made sure everything was centered, level, and positioned properly. One of the biggest things I wanted was a clean installation with no visible cords. They were able to create a power bridge system that concealed the wiring and routed everything to a nearby outlet. They also left us with additional connectivity so we can add two more HDMI devices in the future. The finished setup looks very clean and professional. The price was fair, although perhaps a little on the higher side compared with some options I looked at. That said, I would rather pay for quality workmanship and have the job done correctly than simply choose the cheapest option, especially when mounting an expensive TV above a fireplace. Overall, I'm very happy with the finished result and the quality of the installation. I wouldn't hesitate to use Bay Area Wall Mounts again for any future TV mounting needs, and I would definitely recommend Ismat and the team.

I was reluctant to mount my TV above my fireplace, but unfortunately there was not another configuration that would work well. I even had to downsize my TV, and despite multiple changes to the original request, UMS was super flexible and accommodating. They came through on time, and knocked the job out in a little over an hour. I opted for conduit vs a recessed cable run, but it looks super clean and professional, as I envisioned. The installations were not exactly straightforward. The main TV was going over an original brick fireplace, and I chose a pull-down mount, which requires much more precision and skill than a standard TV mount. I'm the daughter of a long line of carpenters, so I tend to notice how someone approaches their work. From the moment Jay arrived, I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. He took the time to prepare properly, worked confidently and carefully, and I could immediately relax knowing that everything was going to be mounted securely and correctly. Watching someone who truly knows what they're doing is such a pleasure. He was also incredibly clean and respectful of my home. His wife worked alongside him throughout the installation, and the two of them were exceptionally efficient without ever making the work feel rushed. He was also wonderfully resourceful. I had planned to purchase a separate bracket for my soundbar, but he found an elegant way to attach it using the existing TV mount, saving me about $90 while actually giving me a cleaner-looking installation. Context: I initially hired Man Cave of America to mount two Samsung Frame TVs - one in a media cabinet and another on a plaster wall. In the end, the work on the media cabinet was so subpar that I did not trust them with installing a TV on a delicate plaster wall and asked them to leave. Pros: - They were able to widen an in wall hole for wires without drilling into the wall Cons: - Lack of precision. They had to drill 3 sets of holes. Any experienced mounter will tell you that Samsung Frame TVs require precision - they clearly did not understand this or have experience with this. Now I have a number of holes in my wall for no reason. - Lack of efficiency. They quoted 4 hours of work for 2 TVs. I thought this was high given prior mounting job experiences but they had good reviews so I let it slide. Mounting one TV took them no joke 3.5 hours. I was flabbergasted. - Poor communication. I noticed that the team was having trouble mounting the TV and asked if there were any challenges. They said no and said it would be just another 15 minutes. 20 minutes later, I asked them again how it's going, they said it would be 15 minutes. This pattern repeated for three cycles and I lost trust in their work. I would much rather have someone explain the challenges they're facing so I can understand the issue vs. say nothing is wrong and burn time. - Lack of attention to detail. After 3 attempts to mount and 3.5 hours of work, the TV is still not level - again, I was flabbergasted! - They left a number of tools at our house which is just unprofessional. How mediocre their work is became very clear when I had another mounting company, R8Works, install the TV on the plaster wall. The mounting took less than 1 hour, was mounted on the first try, was perfectly leveled, and was legit 1/3 of the price. I cannot reccomend Man Cave of America but highly recommend R8Works.

We have been so pleased with our new surround sound. 3 years and it's still one of our favorite things we've done. When our Frame TV's backlight died (do not recommend), we were so happy with his work the first time around, we didn't bother calling anyone else. Rob and Alex are very friendly. They are extremely knowledgeable and do excellent work. It is always a good price as well. We also did a fireplace build-out so one of the speakers had to be removed for that. We had them move the speaker and mount our new (and much better) TV. Highly recommend working with these guys!
