We made an appointment for Saturday morning as we wanted to surprise our daughter with the vanity built for her birthday. My son was also excited that his desk was going to be assembled as he wanted someplace to study, as well as a place to sit and play online Roblox with his friends instead of the dining room table. Guilherme texted me 15 minutes before our appointment to say that they were running behind schedule and would be at our home 20 minutes later than our scheduled appointment. I appreciated his communication with me that they were going to be late. When Guilherme arrived, he was accompanied by Isabella (who I learned was his fiancée who works with him). They were very friendly, and both went right to work on assembling the two items. They were professional, efficient and friendly, moving each of the furniture items after they were assembled to where we wanted them in our kids rooms. Great service! As always, Proper Hour Home Services were very easy to work with and did a fantastic job at a great price! Our new fridge was too tall for our cabinet space, so needed to cut about 1 1/4 inches from top lip. We also had a long copper tubing run connecting filtered water to our old fridge ice maker. Since Lowe's installation doesn't work with copper tubing and requires a valve to hook up the ice maker line, we needed the copper tubing cut and a valve added to the new end. Ihor from PHHS came and did an excellent job on both tasks! He was able to detach the cabinet lip and cut it outside, so we never heard the loud sawing we expected :-). After installing the cut lip, it measured just right with a little room to space. He cut the copper tubing very cleanly after turning off the water main and installed and tested the valve he bought at Home Depot. Ihor also put down plastic before the work and did a great cleanup job. Our new fridge fit perfectly in the cabinet space and Lowe's installers had a very simple, smooth hookup of the ice maker line to the new valve with their ice maker line installation kit we bought with the fridge. We sent our kitchen assembly instructions ahead of time to make sure they were aware. My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

I was misquoted $300 for removing my TV above the fireplace, transport to new home, & reinstall on…read morea wall there. Everything went wrong when Ismat showed up. He was complaining that my $300 mount was more expensive to remove & install. Then, he couldn't transport it in his van full if stuff. So, my roomate & I had to bring it down on my flat handtruck and put it into my suv. We brought it to the new place and he helped to hold the TV as we wheeled it in. Then he said he couldn't install it on my wall and we had to spend an extra $50 to buy this cheap mount that doesn't move side to side..etc. Then he offered to take my expensive mount & I said No. I only paid him $350 so he would leave. It was terrible. I'm having another company come in to install MY original mantel mount for $150.

I reached out for a quote for a similar set up and received a quick response with a few questions about what set up I had in mind and a few price options that worked. We scheduled an appointment time and Jeff arrived promptly. He was very professional, friendly, and worked quickly to mount my new tv, and installed a power bridge with new outlets behind the tv, hiding all wiring in the wall. He was done in about an hour. AMAZING PEOPLE - STELLAR WORK - VERY RESPONSIVE!…read more We used Alex to make our recently purchased home in San Mateo "move-in ready" by repairing all picture holes, nail holes, and scuffs throughout; repainting and refinishing walls to ensure a seamless, uniform finish; adjusting door alignment; and removing any child locks and interior security devices left behind by the original owner. Alex did such an amazing job that even my mom was amazed at how good the walls looked. Shortly after that, we had Alex come back to install outdoor security cameras, which required wiring, mounting, and installation of weatherproof boxes; he also fixed our overhead kitchen light which is a non-standard fixture. Alex is knowledgeable at just about everything in and out of a home - he talked to me about exterior siding and which lumber yard would source my particular home's wood panels, as well as sprinkler systems. Overall, we only have amazing things to say about Alex and the quality of the work he has done for us. Scheduling him to come by to estimate projects and subsequently do the work has been incredibly easy because of how responsive Alex and his wife Lisbeth (who manages the schedule) are with project scope and availability. Not only that, but the pricing is transparent, fair, and explained. We anticipate using them well into the future for many more projects around our home, and we would highly recommend their services!

They finished the project in 3 days, and I was very impressed with the quality of work they put into it. The walk-in shower looks beautiful, and I'm very happy with it. I will definitely use the A.S.
