My family did the Catacomb Cave and Hurrah Pass trails tour. We had our own side by side and followed the tour guide Dusty to some very scenic areas. Dusty was an outstanding guide. He allowed the group to have enough space between vehicles to not have eat dust the whole way. Dusty is very knowledgeable about the area and shared many of his experiences. The equipment worked well throughout the 4-5 hour tour. Highly recommended.

This was our 2nd time in this tour and it was just as fun as the last. Our tour guide Roni was awesome. She was fun, helped us take pics and answered any questions, but it was clear the safety of my family and everyone else there was top priority. We were already talking about our next time. Amazing views, dinosaur tracks and amazing trails, this tour is 10/10.

This place is great! Not only are the activities they offer a blast, but the views on the routes are incredible and the staff really takes care of their customers. Our second time with this company for a sunset ATV trip. Our first was 2023 and again last week(6/2026). This year our guide was Jake and he did a great job. We hit all the trails and he stopped a few times to show us things like the dinosaur tracks. He was very quick to offer to take pictures. The company is easy to do business with and is reasonably priced. As much as we enjoy taking our personal jeep on the trails, we love the experience of the ATV's.

A buddy and I rented a jeep and hired Tyler of MTC to lead us to and through Hell's Revenge and Fins and Things in the Sand Flats Recreation Area. Tyler was outstanding. I highly recommend both this company and Tyler. I previously used this company when I rented a side by side for the same course. Both experiences were top notch.

Obviously the trail is the main attraction but we lucked out with having the best guide there is Roni was the absolute best! I'd recommend requesting her!. We wanted a low key trip where we didn't have to drive. We booked the guided jeep tour and my wife and myself had an absolutely incredible time!! We'd do it again tomorrow! I can't recommend this company enough! Very nice new jeeps and sxs very well run company.

If you're looking for something fun & exciting to do, this is the place! Whether you're an experienced UTV driver or a beginner, you will feel comfortable and exhilarated throughout this tour!! From the day we stopped in to book, to getting set up with our ride, the customer service provided was top notch. Our tour guide was Tom and he was super fun and very helpful! You could definitely tell that he LOVES his job! He went the speed we all wanted to go and was very informative at the stops along the way! Hell's Revenge was SO fun and getting to see amazing views AND dinosaur tracks was pretty awesome, too.

We were a group of eight friends with varying degrees of experience with UTVs. We chose the Poison Spider trail which had spectacular views and a challenging terrain. Our tour guide was Dusty Ferre. He was great, knowledgeable about the equipment and the trail. He added much to an already wonderful day. I would highly recommend checking out Moab Tour Company. Our friend recommended this place, and they did not disappoint! We made a reservation via phone for RZRs and went up to the Monitor and Merrimac Trails for a few hours of adventurous driving through all kinds of terrain! We drove up petrified sand dunes, through high water (it had just rained), across vast fields, and on crazy rocks that we didn't know these RZRs could even handle! Our tour guide was Woody and he was great. Always checked in with us to make sure we were good. Gave us pointers and step-by-step instructions on how to get our vehicles through some tricky areas. There are a couple of options of trails you can signup for and other vehicles like ATVs you can choose from. read more

Super friendly and helpful! Laid out the land for us and gave us clear safety instructions and expectations. They were hilarious and made the experience enjoyable. We recently rented dirt bikes here while staying in Moab for a few days and we are glad we did! Everyone here is super friendly and gave us great tips on where to go and which trails to take. They loaded the bikes on a trailer and hooked it up to our car, rented us all the gear (except gloves) and sent us off on our adventure with maps clearly marked. We even got a tip on an awesome swimming hole. They made everything so easy and efficient, that we will be back for sure, and we'll probably bring some friends to tag along in a RAZR or 2. read more

I was blown away by these guys. First of all great company and awesome employees. I broke parts on the RZR we rented 2 days in a row and they replaced a rear drive axle and a belt in under 20 minutes. They provide free trailers also which helps out alot. I also flipped the vehicle and as bad as the damage invoice was the guys were nothing but helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend Moab Tour Company. Easy from start to finish. read more

If you're looking to rent off road ATV's this is definitely the place to go. My boyfriend and I each rented Yamaha Grizzly 4-wheelers and opted for the full day rental. MTC provided a map of some awesome trails. The customer service was awesome - a special shout out to Steve. read more

This place is helpful, friendly, and makes it easy to have an incredible AV experience with lots of options. But for me, the most helpful part was the female manager who packed my vehicle with extra blankets and then, literally gave me her son's coat to wear on our drive because she was afraid that I would get cold (we we doing the drive in mid-March with fluctuating temperatures). We had an epic drive and are counting the days when we can return (in warmer weather) for another excursion with this very professional establishment. read more

We called these guys in the morning on a recent October rainy day, thinking we might rent a jeep for a couple hours. They suggested a Razor (spelling?) all terrain vehicle. Since my Dad and I have zero experience in off-roading, we elected to hire a guide. They offered to take us on an "easy" trail or a "more exciting" trail. We chose the more exciting trail called Hell's revenge. Mark was our guide and is incredibly knowledgeable about all things related to Moab, off-roading, and the great outdoors. The Razors are a blast to drive. I would recommend them over a Jeep. If you're not confident about your off-roading skills and getting lost, I recommend a guide but still take the Hell's revenge. It's an adrenaline rush. Everyone with MTC is very friendly and helpful. They provide helmets, googles, gloves, and even ponchos. We were also offered bottled water. Their facility and equipment is well-maintained, clean, and easy to locate on Main Street. read more

We decided to do the Hell's Revenge sunset tour last minute and we are so glad we did! The process was quick and easy and our guide, Eric was a lot of fun. The scenery was beautiful and the ride was super exciting. We got to see parts of Moab we never would have otherwise seen or even realized were there! What a great company! I rented a Jeep Rubicon from these guys on April 8th, and went driving on easy trails. I drove Shafer Trail (twice! because it is so beautiful), then drove a little ways on White Rim trail to see Musselman Arch, and finally drove Long Canyon Trail from the top down. Everyone at Moab Tour Company was so friendly and helpful - both on the phone and in person. They gave me excellent directions and maps, and I had a very fun day. read more

Rented a 2-seater 900cc RZR from these guys and HAD A BLAST. They cater to novices and experts alike, and I was really impressed with how well-maintained their equipment was, as well as how friendly and approachable everyone was at the store. We had a mixed experience. Our tour guide on the trails was awesome! He was knowledgeable, safe and seemed to be having so much fun and loving what he does. The front desk staff were a bit frustrating. When I called to book, I felt very rushed to choose something within the first 10 seconds of the call, then she quickly took my credit card info and hung up w/o giving me a confirmation # or email. When we checked in, they did not give us any other information other than get a helmet (which type? they have quite a few) and wait on the porch. Other tour companies give you more guidance, tips, orientation, etc. You are a bit more on your own with this company. It all turned out OK anyway. We had fun :) read more

Went on the sunset tour -- with my 22yo son doing the driving of our UTV (he's experienced w/ATV -- not sure I would've trusted anyone else except our guide) -- and it was an experience of a lifetime. Our guide, Dusty, was great and made sure that everyone on our tour had a wonderful time. I'm so glad we did it --worth every penny but it's not for the faint of heart. It's the real deal!!! I'm in my 60s....this was my first and will be my only UTV experience of this magnitude -- and I'm glad it was with Moab Tours. THE BEST. read more

These guys are awesome! One of our guys noticed a minor flaw in something mechanical, they traded out the RZR and gave us an hour for the time it took to bring it back. We had a flat tire in the morning (it was our own doing most likely) they came out and replaced it. They explained things thoroughly, they infused a healthy dose of fear to not be a dumbass but encouraged us to have fun. The insurance is totally worth it. We will absolutely rent from them next time. read more

Rented a RZR for the day. Kind of busy in the morning for pickup but overall over quickly and a very good experience with check-in and check-out. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. A bit pricey but on par for Moab. Fair terms for restrictions and damage policies. read more

My girlfriend bought me the Hells Revenge sunset tour for my birthday. We did the tour yesterday. I had not done anything like this before. The tour and experience were amazing. Our guide Woody was awesome. He was patient and knew the trail very well. A group of nervous girls was on the tour. Woody went out of his way to calm them down and help them with some of the more difficult parts of the trail. The tour uses new Polaris UTVs. The tour provides helmets, goggles, and water. The tour stops a few times so that you can take in the amazing views. I highly recommend this tour. I can't imagine a better one out there. Chris read more

This was my first time driving a SxS, RZR 1000, and Dusty, our tour guide, made it super simple to figure out. He was really knowledgeable about the best spots and made it entertaining too. By the end of the sunset tour I felt like a pro...even on the steep hills. My girlfriend and I loved the experience and would highly recommend it to anyone! We will be back and next time with my sons. We did the sunset tour, which was beautiful, and next time we will try a longer one! Can't wait to do it again!!! I had booked a 6 person side by side & then come the day of, one of our party got sick & we called off the rest of the trip & left to go home. Moab Tour could have charged us anyway full amount ($309) but, were very understanding and agreed to not charge. We did a guided tour with Dusty Ferre and he was AWESOME! We were in our own RZR and felt that doing the tour with a guide helped us see sites and complete obstacles we wouldn't have been able to do had we rented the RZR and gone out on our own. We also highly recommend asking specifically for Dusty as your guide. He was friendly, informative, and took stellar photos of us. He even let us use his iPhone speaker for music while we were driving. He truly made the experience for us. This was by far the highlight of our trip. The best part of my vacation was renting this jeep. Well worth the money! I took my wife and my young boys and we set off into Canyon Lands National Park for about six hours. Want to feel alone and insignificant? Check this place out. It's amazingly beautiful and cannot be described with words. Being from Seattle you would think a 103 temp. would put a crimp in our plans. It only made it better. Being in a desert, in the middle of no where for hours was made easy due to the capability of the Rubicon we rented. I always felt my family was safe even when we took the switchbacks up hundreds of feet on a one lane trail. Like I said, best part of my vacation... Put this place on you're bucket list and go see these guys out of Moab Tour Co. read more

Basic salad, corn, very dry rolls, canned beans and a dessert that was about two bites of a cobbler with a squirt of whipping cream. We barely touched it. The boat ride was great. We loved being on the water really enjoyed hearing the story about the history of Moab. The lights did bring a unique perspective to the rocks which against the night sky. We were lucky that the sky was completely dark and great night for stars. I would've liked to have learned more about the constellations since this is such a great place to stargaze. Overall I'm glad we did it. It was a fun activity, But for the price and the taste of the food I'm not so sure if it was worth the price. I like how it is a family run business . I would suggest improving your menu such as updating the food. It sounds like the menu has been the same for a while and it's kind of tired. it may help to update your recorded presentation to something a little bit more current , and maybe add some constellation information. I think you have a good thing going, but it could really use a fresh update.

You can either meet at their location, where you can get some merch, sunscreen, use the facilities and ask any questions you have, or you can pay a small fee to get picked up from your location. From their place to the river, we did one of their raft tours, with 2 other couples we met there, and Josh, our guide. From beginning to end, Josh had a lot of information and history to share with us, and he made everything interesting and fun. He enjoyed answering questions, sharing his knowledge with us, and taking all the pictures we wanted. We arrived at their location downtown Moab a little while after checking into a hotel downtown. They offered to pick us up but it was a nice 10 minute walk to get to their office. It's a nice spot with plenty of last minute necessary's like sunscreen. Within minutes of rallying our group of 6 we were off to the launch point for the tour with our motorized blowup boat. We had a stop along the way at the great wall to see hieroglyphics. The boat ride was great, with information on spots and stories as well. Our guide Josh was excellent. Happy to say we had a great time.

The Jeep was in excellent condition and performed beautifully... right up until Elephant Hill reminded us who's boss. After that trail, the renter's wife and daughter were officially scared to death, declared Jeeping "a hard no," and refused to do anything remotely off-road ever again. Canyonlands Jeep Rental couldn't have handled it better. They were incredibly understanding and graciously let us return the Jeep early with zero hassle, which we truly appreciated given the circumstances (and the lingering white knuckles). Update: 8/1/25 We are so happy that Moab Touring Company (MTC) responded to our review-- We fully expected their response to be unapologetic and callous: as to seeing their other responses from other customers of less than 5 stars. As we mentioned, we were following the directions from the MTC 8-minute safety video provided and from the prompt Jess gave us. On the road, we tried to stay as close as possible (one ATV length between each vehicle). Going through cross traffic, stoplights, and intersections, we all were cautions of traffic. There were gaps at points driving through town. Trying to keep up and getting acclimated to the ATV driving. Also as mentioned- When Jess called out to the group over the walkie talkies, no one knew who she was specifically calling out to. Nor was there any corrective information given as to what she was seeing anyone do from, we presume, her rearview mirrors. When we got to the park entrance and Jess pulled us all over to publicly scold us for something that we didn't even know we were doing, is clearly the epitome of how customers are treated not only with Jess, but how MTC management reacts to online reviews. A message to Jess- Instead of lashing out to customers who were legitimately trying to do the right thing, teach them what you want them to do. Explain what you saw from your rearview mirror and take corrective actions. This is called a "teachable moment." You're lucky enough to do what you do as a career. We are all learning. Now we're here... on the internet... where it's "forever." What do you do when you tow your off-road vehicle ~700 miles from So.Cal. only to have it suffer a traumatic injury (cracked my frame in half) your first day in-town? You go to to Moab and rent a UTV for the rest of your time in-town! That's what I did, i rented a UTV for four days from this place. I called around and most rental places in Moab seem to charge the same amount or don't let you keep the vehicles overnight. this place will and even threw-in a 8'x15' trailer to haul the UTV I rented on to save having to drive it on the highway back to where my group and I were staying. The UTV we had (a two-seater Razor) was in good shape and worked well the entire time we had it. We did some extensive rides into the back country and I went-over the UTV mechanically and was impressed to see the good shape it was in. We drove it just under 200 miles and it never missed a beat, in fact it convinced one member of my group to buy one for himself as soon as we returned from our trip! Only drawbacks are they are VERY particular about any scratch or ding and will bill you accordingly. Thankfully my friends and I are experienced off-roaders so we didn't cause (or get blamed) for any damage however with a minimum of skid plates installed on the UTV I had damage would have been expected. read more

This company was a game changer for our trip to Utah! Jamie went above and beyond for my rather large family that traveled to Moab. I am normally a planner, however, while trying to plan our trip to Moab I was overwhelmed with options on where to rent a UTV and where to do a tour. We arrived to Moab checked in and I began my hunt for our weekends adventures. I went to a few places and they directed us to Moab Tour Company. I walked in and Jamie went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get a tour booked and she was able to book us UTVs for a full day. Paul was our tour guide and he was more than informative, extremely kind and understanding (we had a toddler in the prime of his torturous 3's). Paul most of all made me feel confident in the machine and trust him as our guide. I was nothing short of terrified of driving a UTV up a mountain and by the end of the tour I was cruising the mountains with confidence. On our full UTV day Paul took the time to explain our maps to us and give us advice on how to spend our day. This trip to Moab was unforgettable and it wouldn't have been as memorable without Jamie's help and Paul's expertise. Grateful for such a great time! read more

BEWARE OF SCAM This company will bill you for entirely replacing parts that they claim are even cosmetically damaged. We rented several UTVs so they were able to hold more than the deposit from one UTV to cover "damages". Essentially charging $1700 to replace parts that were scratched or dinged up, including a $300 charge to replace damaged STICKERS on the door of the UTV, which is meant to be driven through the desert where there are all sorts of scratches that occur through regular use. On top of that, they were extremely rude and condescending when I tried to ask about the charges, claiming that one shouldnt rent a UTV if they arent prepared to pay the extra (in my case 560%) fees. They also claim that the reason they order everything brand new instead of fixing it or ordering used parts is that it is "easier for them", but the cars were pretty dinged up when we got them, so I am pretty sure this is just an excuse to make an extra buck by billing new and repairing cheaply. I have heard from others that they also experienced this type of fraudulent charge. read more

Our group of 10 was easily accommodated, and they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. A special shoutout to Tim, our tour guide who was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole adventure so much fun. He really opened our eyes to the off-roading world, showing us places and trails we never would have found on our own. His passion and energy made the experience unforgettable. My husband came to Moab with the intention of driving a RZR; me, dragging my feet. Our guide, Ryan, was empathetic to my reluctance and took time with his instructions, and a bit of humor, to help get me relaxed. The first half hour was absolutely exhilarating, and I thought "I can do this!" Only to find out that this was Ryan's "warm-up". Holy Cows! He then took us up some pretty steep hills and down some very steep "cliffs", and both my husband and I had smiles from ear to ear. We took a break at the top of the mountain to enjoy the view, and to hear Ryan's story. I was sorry when our two hours were up, but so grateful for the experience. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Utah 4x4 Tours on the Hell's Revenge / Fins & Things off-road tour! Our guide, Tori, was phenomenal. From the moment we started, she made us feel safe, excited, and completely confident tackling terrain. Tori was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and so much fun. She explained the obstacles, shared information about the area, and made the entire adventure both thrilling and enjoyable. Hell's Revenge and Fins & Things were absolutely unforgettable with jaw-dropping views, crazy climbs, steep descents, and the kind of adrenaline rush you can't stop talking about afterward. I wanted to take my family (ages 27-32) on a 4-wheeling trip. This was the first place we walked into, no reservations. At the last minute I almost backed out because I am over 60 and worried about being jerked around. My daughter talked me into it and I was glad. Our tour guide Brandon "B-Bob" was great, gave a great tour. These Razr's can almost climb vertically, have fabulous suspensions and tires, are easy to operate. My GoPro clone malfunctioned but I was also filming from the passenger seat with my phone, didn't even need to hold on. Riding was as much fun as driving, taking turns with my son. We got a pleasant surprise to be put on the ATV sunset ride on Hells revenge trail switching from the Hummer tour. Our guide Robert Hart was very helpful and made us comfortable right from the start. Our 11 year old enjoyed it the most and said that he will put this above his class 4 rafting in the Westwater canyon ! Highly recommend these folks for families out there looking for some adrenaline rush. Trail has pretty decent steeps -both upclimbs and downclimbs. View of the Colorado river from Hell's gate stop with scenic 128 down below was fantastic as well. read more

In town for 4 days seeing the sights. We had a group of 8 including 4 kids under 10 yrs old. Booked a 3 hour guided tour in a couple 4 wheel drive buggies. Dusty was our guide and made the whole trip fun, educational and interesting! Ask for him when you book. He is a great driving coach (driving over rock formations and across dunes isnt as easy as it sounds! He had great suggestions on picture settings and locations. He even lointed us in the direction of a great local swimming hole. Great company and a wonderful service! read more

I rented a 2017 KTM 350 EXC for 5 hours, as well as riding gear. The bike was tight, tires were fresh, and it was geared appropriately for the terrain. Their recommendation on where to ride was spot on. Moab is surreal, you have to see it to believe it! Later that same day, my wife and I rented a RZR 570, and went on a guided slick rock tour with Marty Abrams. Marty took us on quite a ride, and was a very interesting person to talk to. We called last minute and were able to get a spot same day for the 3 hour Hells Revenge/Fins N Things tour with Dusty. This was hands down the best experience we've ever had on a vacation. So much better than we ever could have expected, and at a lower cost than the other tour companies in the area. No gimmicks, just an amazing tour. Rented UTV for day. UTV was clean and in excellent shape. UTV was ready for pickup when stated. Cooler with ice was provided. There is a pocket for storing small items. We rented goggles which I would highly recommend if you have dry eyes or if a sand storm comes up. The only thing I would change is having some kind of flip helmet to rent We didn't rent helmets since all are full face and not comfortable to us. read more

We did the sunset tour which we had our own 2 seater side by side and followed a guide. You can have your own side by side as long as you are 16 with a drivers license so that was a major plus for us. We went on hells revenge which was an awesome trial!
