They have goggle rentals (for $4) if you need them, but they will sell you your own for only $20, so you may add well buy them if you will ever use them again. During a 10 day South West road trip we rolled into town looking to do some winter Jeeping in the snow. After quite a search MTC was the only company open on a Tuesday in January. We spent about 30 minutes jabbering about Jeeps and writing up the rental contract. At $250 per day the price was a little steep for a winter rate but we did get an absolutely perfect brand new 2014 Rubicon. This was the most amazingly comfortable Jeep I've ever driven. The satellite radio was a nice touch as well. All in all a fantastic two day trip where we hit, Arches under moonlight, parts of Canyonlands, Top of the World, and Fins n Things. My only complaint and the reason for the missing star was that the guide book was incomplete and the rules on what trails were allowed was a bit confusing, not to mention a complete photocopied rip off of the official "bible" written by Charles A Wells. We ended up wasting time on trail routes that were missing pages, even ending up lost. For day two we went to town and bought the Real guide book. Well worth the $30 (cheaper than buying from Amazon). I will definitely rent here again but will be sure to bring my own book this time :) read more

Worth. Every. Penny. Tons of fun with a smooth and painless operation! A group of us were looking for some power sports adventures and after looking at all the options we went with Moab Tour Company. We went with them because they had good prices and offered a tire/belt damage waiver. Making the reservation was painless. We showed up to the place at 9AM and the Polaris RZR XP4 1000 was all cleaned up and waiting to go out front. The staff was classy and professional while they went over the costs, waivers, park rules, and general rules when driving the UTV on the street. They did a detailed walk around of the RZR and showed us everything we needed to know about it. Since we brought our truck they also provided a trailer so we can take it long distances or bypass roads that had speeds higher than 45 MPH. Driving the UTV on the road was very straight forward and was not strange or stressful. It was actually really nice if you bring your portable Bluetooth speaker with you. The first things we did was the Hurrah Pass since it was pretty easy and gave us some awesome views. After that we went back down and hit the Kane Creek Trail. After that there were more trails that split off from the main trial and just played around there. The RZR XP4 1000 is an EXTREMELY capable machine and I was amazed on how competent it handled the terrain with 4 x 200+lb men in it. I'm not joking, it's amazing. Not only that but it's comfortable too! A large part of this is due to how well the Moab Tour Company takes care of their hardware and makes sure it's in top working condition every time it goes out. After this we took a few more people out on the Hurrah Pass so we could show them the view. The next set of trails we wanted to hit were on the North side of town so we hit the road. However while we were going along the belt blew. No big problem right? We had the tire/belt waiver and 20 min after making a call a member of the Moab Tour Company staff was replacing the belt and we were on our way again. Because the weather rolled in we decided to go back and trailer it to a different trail. Next we went to the Monitor and Merrimack trail. Holy, crap. This area is absolutely amazing. Not only does the M&M trail provide awesome views it also has a huge variety in terrain. The trail is also very well marked so you can't get lost. After doing that loop we tried out some of the other split off trails and got some great sandy sections. Eventually we found a foot trail that led to this cave and opened to a big natural amphitheater on the other side. Absolutely amazing. After getting 'all of that' we decided to go back to camp and get some dinner. After dinner we went up the Hurrah Pass trail again to stargaze. Bring your Bluetooth speaker, get up to the top, and then lie down on the rocks and stare into the sky. It's glorious. While we had the RZR XP4 1000 for a full 24 hours we were soo tired after the first day that we didn't get any more riding done the next morning. We trailered it up and took it back to the shop. Getting all checked out only took a few minutes. Next time we go to Moab we are definitely doing this again! It might seem expensive but you will have an unreal amount of fun. Too bad I don't have many pictures of us in the UTV because we were too busy driving around and having fun. We only stopped to quickly switch drivers so I mostly took landscape photos while people were moving around. Excellent equipment, excellent gear, and excellent service. read more

I loved this outfit. I was just passing through Moab on a solo road trip and wanted to do an ATV ride. I called from Park City in my way into town and spoke at length to Woody about options--especially since I was traveling with my Wrigley (dog) and was worried about finding a person to take care of him. I stopped by as soon as I got to town and spoke with several other people. The man who helped me was fantastic and I am very sorry I don't remember his name. He suggested riding next to the driver to me, as at that time there were no others scheduled for the tour. Perfect--and Wrigley could come with me. Dusty was my driver and he took me and Wrigley out for a test run around the property to make sure he would love the ride--which he did! He had as much fun as I did and the end result was a happy Kate and a thrilled doggie. Everyone was so nice here and really went out of their way to make sure my experience was fantastic. They even spent time with me and let me know where I could hike and see cool things with Wrigley not on their tours. Book with these guys-they really go the extra mile! read more

I called a few days prior to when I wanted to go out, it was only me and you have to have at least two people so I left my number and hoped somebody would get back to me. At 7:30pm the night before I got a call saying there was a four hour tour going out the next day at 10:30. I was ecstatic! The check in process was easy - sign your life away, pay, get a helmet and gloves and then into the van for a short ride to our departure place. I had only ridden an ATV once very briefly before so I wasn't sure what to expect. My guide, Casey (I think, sorry I am bad with names - but he will be referred to as Casey throughout this review) gave me a brief overview and said to just follow him and I'd do fine. I was also with a family who rented a RZR. Casey took us all around, he adjusted his speed for us - going fast at points and slower at other points. He would stop if we had a more difficult cliff to go over/up/down and explain the best way to do it, we stopped plenty of times for photo opportunities and to explore a few caves, cliffs, views and arches. I had an absolutely amazing time on this trip. It was a little chilly, so I would have dressed a little warmer had I known that (it was way warmer in the town). I would absolutely come to these guys again and tell anybody I know to come here! I hope I can come back and try out an RZR next time! read more

We had a solid experience here - rented an ATV for 5 hours and there were no hidden costs (the cooler was included in the cost). The very friendly man we chatted with graciously sat down with us and went over all of the maps 1:1, asked us what sort of tour we wanted to do, and told us where to go based on our preferences - thanks to his guidance, we got to enjoy a wide range of trails. Regarding customer service: 9/10 of the employees working here are friendly people who want you to enjoy your ATV experience. The woman at the front desk, on the other hand, wouldn't make eye contact with us and gave us one-word answers, yet I saw her turn on the smile and happy attitude for other customers. Went on the Hells Revenge & Fins & Things tour with "Party with Marty". It was AMAZING!! I cannot recommend this company enough. We drove two Razor 2 passenger ATVs (they had 4 person but we wanted more opportunities to drive). They provided helmets, goggles, and water bottles and guide had water too. Kids had a great time. What a great rental place. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have great options to choose from, and the experience is 101% worth the price you pay for. The staff at this place in particular provides you with great tips on where to go and what to do depending on what you are looking for. They are super chill and down to earth and care about you having as much fun (while being safe) as you can! We had an awesome cool lady with pink hair (forgot her name) helping us when we rented. She provided us with a tooon of recommendations and made our short time in Moab well spent! We rented a top of the line UTV one day and I put it to the test appreciating the larger wheels. That thing seemed to scale anything I pointed it at, my husband at the end of the drive on slick rock area was wondering if he would have to change his shorts. A few years back we took a guided tour of the same area, if you are not used to operating a UTV and want to go rock crawling with it I highly recommend a tour first to learn the ropes and what might be over the top dangerous. This year I am glad we avoided the tour, we knew our way a bit , avoided certain obstacles and tried some areas the guide steered us clear of. We are happy the company took a ton of photos of the UTV as to avoid paying for damages caused by the previous riders. The company proved to be honest. The next day we rented a Jeep and took some back roads that our low clearance car would have choked on. Having made two reservations we got 5percent off both rentals too. He was thoughtful and took pictures for us, so we didn't need to do selfies. The equipment (Polaris Razor 900) was well maintained. Everyone at check in was very friendly. TRAVIS did a great job touring us around on the hills revenge course. From the rental place off of Main we were quickly on the back roads in Moab seeing many obstacles and areas in the back country. Following TRAVIS in a follow the leader train of six Polaris or fruit vehicles I did things that I never would have done on my own. Sometimes we were vertical aiming down, sometimes it felt as if we were vertical aiming up. The drives were never more than I could handle. My brother and I both had a blast. I would recommend this as an adventure for anyone of license age or older. Younger folks can go but cannot drive the old train vehicles. The scenery was spectacular as is the whole region. read more

First time driving a RZR and Moab Tours did a great job! Our guide, Dusty, did an amazing job. Hells Revenge was great, not too scary but definitely a thrill for a first time driver. Good warm up trail to make you feel comfortable and then you're off to the main trail. 95% of the tour is time spent driving, with just a few short pull offs to explain the next section or watch other vehicles do some of the more difficult climbs. 10 out of 10 recommend! read more

This was one of our bucket list adventures to go on when in Moab and we would definitely come back! Masks were worn during the entire preparation process (signing papers, watching a quick safety video, etc.) All of the staff was friendly and very helpful. I just finished up a Hell's Revenge sunset tour and I had to get on here ASAP for the feedback. With spending less than a full day here, I wanted to see as much as possible and this tour did not disappoint! Nate was our tour guide and he was phenomenal. Super friendly guy as well as knowledgeable about the geology and history of the land we toured. Trust the machine! Because once you're comfortable behind the wheel, scaling at some points seemingly vertical cliff faces, it's time to just soak in amazing view after amazing view. Best money I could have spent. Tyler was FANTASTIC, so much so, we got him a peanut butter Oreo milkshake from Milt's on the way home as a thank you. We went to the shop a day early to fill out paperwork, which expedited our time the next morning. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and just someone we wished we could have had a beer with. Based on a friend's recommendation, we reserved the half day on the Polaris Rzr 1000 and that was PLENTY. We were so beaten down from the sun and jerking off the ride, that we went home right after and napped. You get a map of everywhere you're allowed to go. They'll explain everything, too.
