One of the top highlights of my trip to Oahu for sure. I'm really happy my cousin told me about this company. It was easy to book online and they were communicative leading up to the morning of our snorkeling trip. They have many different options of which boats/times go out. I regret not going on their sunset boat before leaving. We signed up for their snorkeling morning time slot and everything was so smooth and straight forward. The crew were super nice and relaxed. The boat was spacious and clean. It was about a two hour snorkeling trip with a 15 minute ride out and 1 hour of snorkeling. I was worried it'd be short, but it was the perfect amount of time. On the ride out, we saw multiple dolphins swim next to us. The shore/mountain views were amazing. But snorkeling with so many turtles and fish was just an incredible experience. Got on to the 3 hour swim and sail experience boat ride. Got on time though initially locating the place was a bit challenging. However ended up calling their number and they guided us perfectly to the spot. Located towards the end of of the marina , and if you are dropped by Uber/taxi in the front , it's like a good 5-7 minute walk to reach the spot. Once boarded , we were instructed for all that that was going to come our way. The captain made the instructions funny to listen to and not something that you would just ignore. Once the engines were turned on it was a beautiful sight. From the marina, about 15-20 minutes later was the first stop where the boat was halted and folks could jump in and take a swim. This particular ride did not offer any snorkeling equipment , though if you had one of your own you were more than welcome to use it. The place where we halted, was a turtle canyon ( turtle car wash if you will, where they get together and are cleaned by fishes who eat algae etc that is residing on the turtle's shell). It was quite a spot as every now and then we would see one popping out of water to take some fresh air and then would go back in. Stayed there for quite a bit , post which the mast was raised and the boat was set to sail with the wind. Made some splashes along the way as the water got a slight bit choppy though it was all fun and great times. Definitely recommend it and a big shoutout to the crew who we're ever so friendly, welcoming and gave us all a great time on the boat!!!! read more

My husband and I booked the 2.5 hour turtle snorkeling cruise and it was amazing! Initially we booked the 10:30am slot, but the business notified us that over 40 people booked that time and only 4 people booked the 7 am slot. We were able to change our time to the 7 am slot with ease, and we were very pleased with being given the option. The 7am cruise, while early, was phenomenal. Our crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly chill. They communicated their guidelines clearly and ensured everyone on board would have a fun and safe time. We saw over 12 turtles during the early cruise, both sleeping in the "hotel" and coming up for air. Afterwards, we were taken on a dolphin cruise with the time we had left. All in all 20/10 experience. ALSO, please tip your tour guides! They are absolutely worth every penny and more. read more

While the drinks were enjoyable, the overall experience left much to be desired. Due to special event, the front of the boat was exclusively taken by 2 families or special guests, leaving the rest of us crowded at the back. Although we were technically free to move, access to the front was restricted or very limited, limiting our view and space to roam. It would have been helpful to receive a heads-up about this arrangement, such as a notice about seats being on a first-come, first-served basis or an advisory to arrive 30-40 minutes early for better seating. Additionally, knowing in advance that part of the boat would be booked for a private event would have set more realistic expectations. Given that all guests paid the full price, many were understandably disappointed. Suggestions: Communicate any private events or seating arrangements clearly on the booking site. Today we went snorkeling with Moana Sailing and it was spectacular! My family of 6 includes a small child and even though he couldn't swim, the Moana Sailing team made an effort to include him! They took him close to the water and showed him all the turtles and fishes in the reef, he had a blast! The rest of us had a lot of fun in the water, we saw so many fish and the turtles were so cute I love that there's a bar, my mom and dad got piña coladas that were delicious and the captain explained the snorkeling in detail, it was very beginner friendly. They helped with our masks, our fins, and stayed by our side even in the water. The boat ride itself made me nauseous, but the crew was so kind and patient and accomadated me immediately. They are all very protective of everyone in and out of the water, I felt safe knowing they were all lifeguard certified. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, I will definitely be sailing with them again! read more

Booked the 2 hour Turtle Canyon snorkel tour with them in August 2021. Nice boat and solid three person crew. Only 8 passengers when we went, which was great. We brought our own snorkel gear, but they provide everything you need. They also require you to wear a flotation device around your waist. Everyone must wear one, doesn't matter if you're Michael Phelps. About a 15 minute trip out to the snorkeling location. Turtle Canyon is an area where turtles congregate to give their shells a good cleaning by the local fish. We saw about a half dozen turtles as well as a good mount of fish. It was a little swelly and windy when we went, but still a good time. Visibility was decent. The flotation devices were a little bit of a bummer. You stay out for around an hour and 15 or so. Good amount of time to swim around. You can get back on the boat at any time. Entry and egress was a breeze with their stairs. What you need to bring - towel, sunscreen, water, snacks (if you want). They used to have a bar feature, but it is unavailable due to covid. There are two restrooms on board. All in all, a good time. We'd book with them again. read more

We had a great time snorkeling at turtle cove. It took us about 20 min to get to the spot. There were several other boats in the area with quite a few people in the water, but there was plenty of room for us. Captain Chris was very nice and helped everyone get fitted before entering the water. Word of advice, if you have facial hair, he recommends a little Vaseline to help the mask seal under your nose. Once in the water, we hovered over the spot where the turtles come through to get cleaned by the fish. We saw several turtles come through and a lot of fish. If you want to maximize your snorkeling time, try to get fitted quickly, as it takes some time to get everyone in the water. read more

Shoutout to the crew who were exceedingly attentive to our drinks and even offered to take pictures for us! Extremely professional and made the experience feel very catered while relaxing with the most incredible views of Waikiki/Diamond Head. I almost asked the captain for the Spotify playlist because the relaxing Hawaiian music slowly transitioned to chill beats. As the suns dipped below the horizon we were met with acoustic versions of songs that just took the ambiance to the next level. Had a perfect morning of snorkeling off off Waikiki on the Moana Catamaran! Elijah, Zach, and Keala made the experience super comfortable for everyone and made sure we all had picture perfect memories. Captain Chris got us out to the best snorkel spot super fast and we saw at least 8 turtles and unlimited fish. They let us hang out in the water for more than enough time and everything felt very laid back. I would highly recommend this charter over others as it was definitely not overpacked and felt much more comfortable than many other boats we have been on in Oahu as all seats had cushions and support.
